An absolute gem in Interlaken! It’s the perfect spot to start your day with a delicious breakfast and a great cup of coffee. The food was fresh and flavorful, and the overall vibe of the café is relaxed and welcoming.||The staff were friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. We especially appreciated that the indoor dining area is air-conditioned—a rare and welcome comfort in the summer. Another major plus: the patio is smoke-free, which made for a clean, peaceful atmosphere to enjoy the incredible views.||Whether you're passing through or staying in Interlaken, The Aarburg Café is a must for a satisfying and scenic start to your day. Highly recommended!

Had a very pleasant stay at this little hotel. Good location to walk about 20 minutes to cog train to Harder Klum. Also good location for station and boat trips on lake. Basic room lovely bathroom with shower. Cheese ham yogurt and pastries for breakfast also delicious scrambled eggs to order. Very helpful staff. Would go back and recommend to friends

Good size room with a good bathroom. The bench for our luggage and the hooks and hangers were nice for a change. The cafe downstairs is fantastic for a coffee or beer in the afternoon. The staff are simply fantastic. So friendly and helpful. Breakfast is also very good with the scrambled eggs made fresh to order.

We have just stayed here in room 103. Big room with a fantastic view. For two tired travellers, this hotel is a gorgeous haven. The staff and management are exceptional. Their kindness and willingness to help with information and with luggage was first class. The breakfast and cafe menu are fantastic and plentiful. We recommend this wonderful hotel and its team to all.

I’d like to thank all the staff - especially Angelo - for hosting us! For anyone who is browsing places to stay in Interlaken or the surrounding area, I would highly recommend the Aarburg. Firstly, the rooms (at least our room ,103) was bigger than it looked in pictures. This is in a quiet part of town that is equidistant from both Interlaken West and Interlaken Ost stations. It is a short walk to everything including downtown and the Harder Bahn. Now, do me a favor, book a room facing the mountains. The views are better than they look in pictures. Turns out, this place has complimentary continental breakfast including café drinks for guests as well! The great service applies all throughout. Would recommend to anyone looking to visit Switzerland in general. Again, thanks so much for a fantastic stay!

Such a beautiful spot and a great place to have coffee and cake! We tried the Berries and white chocolate cake which was very delicious!! Didn’t have time to take a picture of it because we were busy enjoying it! The staff were very friendly and helpful which made the experience 1000 times better!! I really recommend this place!

We enjoyed a lovely breakfast with a variety of egg options. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. I highly recommend trying the piccolo coffee—it’s a must!

We ordered iced latte and americano, some ice cream for the toddler (sour chocolate and matcha). We’re really good. The service was on top, everyone was so friendly, Rachel was so kind, she helped us find way to some gorgeous spots. Thank you so much!

I absolutely loved this place. The staff was so fantastic. And may I say, they make the absolute best cappuccino. The room was extremely clean and the location was perfect. The adjacent river was beautiful. Also, We enjoyed being slightly away from the business of Interlocken. We will definitely return.

Amazing cafe! Got a delicious flat white and there was both oat and lactose free milk alternatives available. Such a great view of the water as well!

This is the most wonderful hotel in Interlaken. The staff are incredible and friendly. The food at the included breakfast is excellent and the rooms are very clean.

Absolutely loved this place. Had a single room with a river view and it was spectacular. Clean rooms with towels and shampoo/soap. Comfortable bed. Free breakfast in the morning. Really have no complaints with this place. Great location outside of Interlaken so it's quiet but a close walk into town

Was in Interlaken about 2 months ago and stumbled upon this hidden gem. Owners were fantastic and served patrons themselves. Great beer selection and there happens to be a laundromat right next to them which ended up being a plus. The views can't get much better than this.

Everything was just right: - friendly helpfulness of the hosts and their staff - the location of the hotel so close to downtown - the immaculate room - the stunning view from my window - the excellent breakfast It was a great decision to stay at The Aarburg, and I look forward to returning!

Hidden gem in Interlaken! Great tasty Swiss food, large portion, friendly service and cheap price (this is Switzerland after all). I come to Switzerland 2-3 times per year on business and favorite place to visit is the Jungfrau region near Interlaken. This hotel restaurant is tucked away from tourist area of Interlaken and serves home made Swiss food for a song! Wanted the family to eat traditional Swiss meal and we were not disappointed. Highly recommend

Worth every penny, after a long day on the train from Paris my wife and I went in search off a meal. This place blew us away. The asparagus ravioli was excellent and the lamb knuckle was the best dish I have ever had in a restaurant. The host was super friendly and helpful. she went out of her way to explain how the bill works in Switzerland. Local beer on bottles and on tap. The restaurant was very authentic feeling also.
