Leasing at The Abbey has been such a great experience! From the start, Omar made the process easy and stress-free—he was professional, friendly, and always willing to answer my questions. When my home closing happened a lot sooner than expected and I needed to adjust my move-in date, Seka stepped in and was just as amazing to work with. She was flexible, understanding, and helped make everything come together smoothly. Both Omar and Seka went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of, and I couldn’t be happier with the service they provided. The Abbey is a beautiful place to call home, and the team here truly makes all the difference!

Love living here! I have lived here since August and have been pleasantly surprised about how great the staff and the cleanliness of the building is. Omar and Seka are the best and upon move in I was having an issue and they resolved it SO quickly and have been such amazing leasing agents since. The building is almost always completely quiet, the residents are very respectful and they just updated the gym equipment! I have a great feeling that I will resign my lease next year if it continues to be this great!

My husband and I lived at this apartment for close to a year while searching for our house. The location is both safe and incredibly convenient. Everything we needed was within a 10 mins drive. The staff went above and beyond, always friendly and helpful. When we bought our house and needed to end our lease early, the process was smooth and stress-free, thanks to their clear communication. We couldn’t have asked for a better temporary home and highly recommend it to others!

I’ve lived at The Abbey for 2 years now and I truly love it here, and that’s thanks to Seka, our wonderful office manager. She recently helped me with a lease transfer, and even though my family and I were a bit noisy during the process, she was so kind, patient, and welcoming. She even offered my mom and sisters water, which was such a thoughtful gesture. I’ve lived at many places before, but nowhere has had management like this. Seka always goes above and beyond, and her assistant Omar is just as amazing—I absolutely adore him! They both make The Abbey feel like home.

We have moved into The Abbey just about one month today, and I will say without a doubt this is hands-down, the most quiet, beautiful apartment community. I never knew existed until about a month ago, and lived very close in relation to, but you would have no idea those properties are both on the same street. The Abbey is located down in a quiet little hole backing up to a neighborhood but feels like you’re on a completely different planet as far as noise from Park Rd., Montford, etc. I’ve lived in a lot of different apartment communities across Charlotte and this has been by far the best experience I’ve had so far, between move-in experience, price for square footage, the staff has been nothing but amazing, they keep very good tabs on everything going on inside and out, and I cannot stress to you enough how amazing this property has been. I have read a bunch of different reviews just to gauge people‘s opinions and the reviews stating noise and all this other stuff. I honestly have no idea what they are talking about because you wouldn’t even know some people live in some of these buildings, you see so very few people. I’ve also seen a lot of families with kids which I have not seen at many Charlotte communities, hands-down by far the best place we have lived. Keep it up.

I actually plan to move here soon. The manager sold me. Kali was extremely fun. When touring, she answered every question while taking time to make sure i received everything i needed. I would definitely recommend The Abbey to anyone looking to relocating .

I never leave reviews on anything but this is something I can not keep in. Worst apartment I have ever lived in. Hands down. For reference, I have lived in 6 apartments since I graduated college in multiple states and I have never had a single issue. When I moved in there was paint everywhere, shower dirty, carpets dirty, chipped wood on cabinets and when I said something about it, they gave me a bottle of champagne for my "troubles". My AC went out multiple times and it took atleast a day for someone to fix it. The cherry on top was when my apartment FLOODED because the apartment above me's dishwasher broke. My entire living area was covered in water and it took them 2 plus hours to get there. I had to vacate the apartment for almost 2 weeks and When I tried calling the office about it no one would respond so when I finally went in there the man said "we've been really busy". My lights sparked when I turned them on and I told them I did not feel comfortable staying there and they said they would have someone "paint over it". I'm not an electrician but that did not seem right to me. After multiple complaints nothing was taken off my rent and I was so unhappy I moved out early and just paid 2 rents. That's how bad it was. Not to mention I had bugs everywhere and also nothing done about it. The community is nice and the residents are nice but the apartments are terrible quality for an astronomical price. Stay far, far away.

I have lived at the Abbey for almost a year. The experience from Day 1 has been nothing short of terrific. The "selling point" of the apartment for me was the excellent service that I was provided here. The leasing agent who I worked with, Jenna, has been the best "follow up" experience that I've encountered in an apartment complex. Any issue that ever came up was addressed immediately and professionally. Additionally, the maintenance staff are very helpful! One gentleman in particular, Richard, was extremely helpful several times that I needed a light fixture hung in my apartment. Highly recommend the Abbey as well for proximity to shopping, fitness, dining, and popular areas of town. Don't hesitate to lease here!

DO NOT LIVE HERE. Looks nice but is cheap and way too $$$ for what you get. Not even in a nice location. Had a 5 pm showing and no one showed up to show us the property. My bf flew in from another country to see this place and we waited an hour...the worst part though??? Still no one showed up when they confirmed our appointment. So we didn't even get to see the specific unitX No one helped us get another appointment the following day and they couldn't squeeze us in. They couldn't even direct us to a manager. And they didn't even sincerely apologize. Extremely frustrated with the abbey and extremely thankful we are not living here. But long story short, don't waste your time on these people. They obviously don't care about their future residents. There are SO many better options for better prices with newer complexes and way better amenities. Gym is also TINY. Look at inspire or sycamore at tyvola.

We have lived here for a few years and absolutely loved the Abbey when we moved in. The apartments are nice, the appliances work well, and the maintenance staff is 10/10. However, things have really gone downhill over the past few months. (1) There is trash inside and outside of the buildings. This includes stains and dirt in the hallways, all kinds of plastic trash and dog poop outside, and general messiness. They used to clean weekly indoors and outdoors, but that seems to have completely stopped. (2) There are several residents who smoke marijuana indoors and fill the hallways and elevators with smoke. This is more than a smell - it is suffocating. Management is either unaware or unwilling to address this. (3) The rent is not competitive with other, similar apartments in Charlotte. While the 1st year of the lease is market rate, management will quickly increase the rent for subsequent years. If you plan to live here more than 1 year, it is not cost effective. If you renew your lease, you will be paying much higher rates than the rates listed on the website. (4) Management does not enforce COVID precautions. There are often residents with no masks on in the gym, elevators, and business center, and residents are required to retrieve their mail from a small closed-off room rather than a safe open area. All these issues have been brought to management's attention, but they have failed to act on them for quite some time. We plan to move out when our current lease ends. If any of these issues are addressed before we move out, I will update this review.

The apartment was great I stayed for 2 years until the new manager Scott came in. Absolute worst manager I've even spoken with. My toilet and disposal would not work and I put in multiple request to get them fixed. After a week I went down and Scott told me "your a man just fix it yourself" I can fix most things but these needed a replacement or new parts. Also we pay for maintenance and I shouldn't have to handle that. Plus all the appliances that at "stainless steel" are rusting. Nice place but everything breaks, before Scott was there the maintenance was better and the manager was not rude. Would highly recommend moving somewhere way nicer for cheaper price and better manager that's actually nice to the tenants.

What Jenna and her staff have done, is nothing short of amazing. Besides the occasional ignorant neighbor who doesn't pick up their dogs poop, or leaves smelly trash across the hall from us, this place is perfect!!

I've lived here for 5 months and absolutely love it. It's close to everything, extremely clean, and the staff is extremely friendly. The maintenance crew makes sure to respond to everything in a prompt manner as well. The property manager has a smile like Carrie Underwood and is the nicest ever. I would highly recommend living here!

This place was beautiful. However, there were so many issues with poor management that I absolutely do not recommend it. If you have a puppy and plan on moving here be advised. They claim to be extremely dog friendly but they are not. There's no washing station like most apartments in our area, and when the dog park is constantly flooded and muddy this is a huge issue. Obviously when you get a new puppy or move somewhere new there can be some potty training issues in the beginning. At the end of your lease they will not warn you but they tear up all the carpet and inspect it from below. Any little spot will make them change the entire carpet in the unit and send you a bill for $1000. This is after we had them cleaned and even paid the abbeys cleaning fee. Aparently this is "their protocol", why this was not stated when we originally moved in with the pet is beyond me. When asked to provide a copy of the quote and photo evidence they made us wait Days and days to recieve this information, im still waiting on multiple documents to justify why we were sent the bill we were. Beyond this I had extreme issues with noise from my neighbors beside me and above. I made multiple complaints and nothing was done. It was all day all night until 4 or 5 am constant noise from neighbors. I was miserable and I made this very clear to management and nothing was done. It's obvious they went very cheap in areas they thought residents wouldn't notice (the thin walls and ceilings for example). When you can hear every word on the tv of your neighbor next door it's not just an apartment living issues as the abbey suggested it's a thin wall issue and a resident violating their lease. I'm beyond frustrated with this place because from the outside it's beautiful, and the finishes are nice but when you dig deeper and see how things are operated it's a huge no from me.

Little chance I live here. Too pricy for the poor quality. The main building looks and feels nice but apartments are small and poorly designed. I also stepped in dog poop on my way out. Way too many people have dogs here...it feels like a zoo. Try Inspire...much better quality, location and price!
