I need to start by saying how amazing Joe is! Such amazing energy! This place was fabulous, every Sunday they do a reggae roast, I had the crab Mac and cheese which was amazing! Luckily I got to meet the kitchen staff who were such beautiful souls! Amazing energy, food & service here and the playlist was incredible! Chilled beautiful vibes ! This places is a must visit on Sunday in Brighton!

love it here! such a lovely place to be when you're queer- love the community vibe. had the best night on dyke night tonight. was very loud and overwhelming at points but can step outside when it gets too much.

The Artist pub is such a lovely location and the most inclusive space I’ve ever been in. It’s fun and queer and I love it!

Doesnt have heater outside despite pictures, tried to get a pint but staff were too busy chatting, I had to say excuse me 3 times, I was the only one at the bar. They left empty glasses on the tables sitting there for for 30 minutes, empty cans left on floor, also toilets are filthy. Please go to r bar down the road, much better...

Incredibly accepting queer bar, with great drinks options and a small hot food menu. The atmosphere is great, and it's a great place to chill after a long day.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to the poetry open mic crew at The Actors for making me feel so welcome as a newcomer. It can feel daunting stepping into a creative space alone, but the atmosphere you’ve created is so warm, inclusive, and uplifting. I met some truly kind, inspiring, and talented people, the kind who remind you why sharing art matters. I can’t wait to come back with more bagel poems when I make the big move. Thank you for making Brighton feel like a place I might belong. <3
