I can not recommend this place. But the good things first. The rooms are clean and spacious. But the rooms don't have any windows. It was very hot and smelly in the room. There is no possibility to regulate the air temperature. On the air con, it's only possible to regulate the speed of the ventilation, which seems not to change the temperature. All night long it was very hot, not possible to have a relaxing sleep. The whole area is not well maintained.

Great, clean, spacious room!||My boyfriend suggested we stay here and I was a bit wary thinking we may be a bit old for the themes! How wrong I was! I was also mistaken thinking that very little effort would be put into cleanliness. These rooms were probably the cleanest I have experienced in thailand!||Such a great stay. Rooms are quiet and the staff are great. They were exceptionally patient while we looked through all of our options of rooms to stay in and the lady who works in the restaurant was amazing! I wish that I had asked her name. She was so helpful and I wish I could thank her again. The food and breakfasts were amazing.||I would love to go back!||Some may find the distance from town a bit much but it's actually a very quick trip. ||Keep it up Adventure Hotel!

This hotel was different to any other we had stayed in anywhere. The rooms are all themed creatively and the whole hotel design looks like a movie backlot. Since they had many spare rooms we were able to move rooms when we wanted to. Since we were travelling as a family we stayed in the Underwater Suite and the Jurassic Suite. (The suite has three bedrooms, as well as a living/dining area.) Our Grandmother stayed in the Bread and Butter room and the Reflections room. The rooms were really interesting and the themes were very creative and a fun change from regular hotels. We also really enjoyed the food at the restaurant. This hotel is a bit kitsch and the rooms have no windows, and strange features such as giant squids in the ceiling in the Underwater Suite and and toy snake wrapped around the railing in the Jurassic Suite, but we found this interesting and fun. However, we do not recommend you stay here if you are not prepared for something new and different.

This was booked as a suprise for me by my boyfriend. Booked for our last three nights in chiang mai I was sceptical but was amazingly surprised.||||Due to low season they let us change rooms every day and were absolutely fine with that. We first stayed in space then jurassic then finally under the Sea.||||All rooms were fab, and little touches made a big difference. ||||All beds and pillows were very comfy and the shower was adequate (better than most but not strong power).||||We payed just under £15 a night through agoda and that came with breakfast which was yummy and big! You get three choices-american, continental and thai.||||We had American that came with loads including a plate of fruit aswell as your big plate. The fried eggs were perfectly runny and the people in the restaurant were lovely, friendly and very appeasing. ||||When we changed rooms, the maid was immediately there offering to help us with our things, infact every staff member seemed genuinely happy to help and we're very friendly. ||||The location was abit further out but totally worth it. Tuc tucs varied in price to and from the main town area ranging from 60baht-150baht but you can def haggle with them, on average you don't want to pay more than 100baht but in rush hour no more than 150.||||We wish we could have stayed longer to try out all the other rooms. Thank you for a lovely stay!!

We had a great stay and loved all the rooms. Lots of fun and a nice change from all the normal hotels. Excellent value for money. My only complaint is the location is not great if you want to do things in Old City. If you have a scooter then it's not so bad. Our other hotel, the Xym Apartments was way more central. Loved the rooms, really fun!

About 10 minutes from town, this is a rather odd and quirky hotel with themed rooms.||The staff were rather bemused when we arrived in the evening; as though they had never had any guests before.||||We had a choice of rooms and chose the Harem. It was a large room with a big old TV and the funny 'control box' for the A/C, TV and lights. 2 cups but no kettle.||The room was clean but, as others have mentioned, no windows. It was absolutely pitch black when the lights are out. Disturbingly so. The only thing to indicate sunrise was the chorus of crazy birds outside. ||||Breakfast was cheap and cheerful but what do you expect for the price.||||We only stayed for 2 nights then went to stay somewhere nicer in town, but if you want a slightly surreal place to stay for not much money, give it a go. They are happy for you to staying different rooms too.

Paid 1,169 Baht for a Deluxe Double Bed. Chose a reflection room and had mirrors all over. Very cool design. The staff drove us to our room on a simple cart. Room has no window. Spacious bathroom. Wash basin is outside the bathroom. Toilet is in another room. It's like a love hotel converted from a motel/drive-in or curtain hotel. I like the design a lot. I wish I could stay in the spaceship or "The Night of 1001" room next time. Simple breakfast included in the room rate. Around the hotel I could find some local foods. I chose this hotel as I don't want to stay in the center. The room is not new but is ok to stay. The Lobby and restaurant are very bright, colorful and modern. Staff performance is good. Would stay again as I love the cool design.

My partner and I stayed in a "Reflections" room for 2 nights during Chinese New Year.||POSITIVES||- Funky design concept & different theme room design.||NEGATIVES||- Weird check in (staff could have trapped us in Reception for an hour, offering tedious and unavailable room choices, if we had not become very firm about getting to our room).||- Shower was luke warm and only a dribble at full power.||- Rolling blackouts on 2nd night.||- After blackouts, Air Conditioning & TV could not be restarted.||- Ordinary breakfast (too much "Farang food").||It is such a shame, because the hotel's design concept is so appealing. However, they do not deliver a reliable product, so should be avoided. There are so many other hotels to choose from in Chiang Mai, which I would recommend be considered first.
