The Albert Mosman - SilverKris

"Think of this harbourside retreat as the abode of a very well-heeled friend. Nestled within a gorgeous stately home built in 1886, this 26-key Victorian, beachfront property blends heritage charm with modern luxury. Expect coastal-chic design accented by oak floorboards and brass accents, chef-cooked breakfasts, a stunning rooftop terrace for rooftop hangs and a stylish bar, along with easy access to top sites like Mosman Art Gallery and Balmoral Beach." - Gayatri Bhaumik

We had the most wonderful experience at The Albert. The staff were truly exceptional, accommodating, and attentive from start to finish. I chose The Albert for my wedding morning preparations and can not wait to receive the photos! We stayed in the Albert Suite and it was stunning! We also hosted our guests on the terrace the morning after the wedding, and once again the service was outstanding. Everyone commented on how lovely the atmosphere was and how beautiful the location was! I couldn’t be more grateful to the staff at The Albert for helping make such an important occasion feel even more special. Highly recommend!

Had a fabulous stay at the Albert hotel. The rooms are pristine clean with amazing amenities including luxurious toiletries, espresso coffee machine, milk frother and high quality teas. The highlight is the hospitality of the girls at the reception - Jusi and Sanisha, they went out of their way to make me feel comfortable!! This was my first trip to Australia and I highly recommend this hotel for this part of Sydney!! Also recommend the breakfast at the cafe!! It was lovely 🥰

The Albert really is a gem of a hotel in Mosman! We stayed here recently for our wedding weekend, and needed a place close by that could accommodate us and our bridal party. Whilst their rooms were beautiful and beds were super comfortable, the thing that stood out the most was the friendly service. Whether it was the girls at reception or the incredible chef, everyone was invested in helping us make our weekend special!

Stayed overnight as it was convenient to a fundraiser event at Chowder Bay. After 10:30pm there is a lift from the street controlled by the room fob which is easy and provides a sense of security. Handy for those with mobility issues too. The Standard Queen Ensuite was ready and very clean for check in at 2pm. There are some nice relaxing spaces adjacent to reception to make your own tea (as a guest) or order a snack or drink. Breakfast is included in the morning 7:30am-10am. The breakfast here is incredible (I went for the Salmon parcel) and it was a difficult decision. I’m taking one and a half stars off because I found the room very small and slightly claustrophobic (particularly when blind was down at night). There was no space for a chair and for those travellers with multiple suitcases they may have to be stowed at reception or in the bathroom. I’m adding a half star because all the staff were very attentive and friendly and putting the double sided heater on while we ate breakfast outside was indulgent. It would be interesting to compare cost with city hotels and the price of an uber.

I recently stayed at The Albert for my wedding weekend. The hotel itself is gorgeous and was the perfect setting for some of our wedding photos. We stayed in one of the suites and it’s easily the most beautiful hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. The staff were also incredibly lovely and accomodating, making our stay feel extra special! 100% recommend

Small boutique style hotel. Clean and well maintained. Seems like every detail is well thought out. However, we had a strange experience the first night coming in to check in, there was no one at the reception and we had to wait. While our wait fire alarm asked us to evacuate immediately. It was a false alarm, but we had to wait for the fire department to clear re entry. After the check in we settled into our conner room on the 4th floor, we didn’t experience any noise from upstairs or any other neighbors, just some times could hear talking people in the lobby, because its an older building with an open concept floor plan. We didn’t have much of a view from our window, just a brick wall of another building. And the central ac, you have to ask front desk to turn on. Other than that, loved their bathroom tile work, simplicity and minimalism of the room design.

This is our second time staying at The Albert Hotel, and our experience has been just as memorable as the first. The first time we booked, it was only for an overnight stay. We just wanted a quick weekend getaway and to check the place out. We chose this hotel because it’s less than 30 minutes from Manly. We didn’t want to book directly in the Manly area as it was more expensive and crowded due to the holiday break. The Albert Hotel gave us exactly what we needed: peaceful relaxation away from the city and the busy beachside area. I especially love their comfortable beds and soft bathrobes. This time, we stayed for 3 days and 2 nights, and my husband surprised me by booking a heritage deluxe suite with a balcony view. We truly appreciated the warm and helpful customer service, and the included breakfast was very filling, and the chef was so friendly, even taking the time to chat with us and ensure we were delighted with our meal. The room was clean and spacious, equipped with an iron and a hairdryer in the bathroom. We also enjoyed the bathtub, and were surprised by the complimentary champagne they offered. We highly recommend this place! Ratings: Cleanliness – 5/5 Customer Service – 5/5 Meals – 5/5
