Great place for a nice , well made, well selected coffee. Not overly priced… for the great quality. Armosphere is awesome, away from all the noise, but right in the center of the city.. recommended, top top coffee shop in Bordeaux. We will return every time we come back to the city … Ask for the second coffee option, we tried an Ethiopian coffee. Good good good .

One of the best coffee shops in Bordeaux! ☕ The decoration is very aesthetic, the place smells as good coffee and the service is very friendly. I visited with my girlfriend and we ordered 2 cappuccinos and a chocolatine. One plus thing is that they have alternative milk options as oat milk, which is good for people with lactose intolerance, which is something I haven't found that much in Bordeaux. Finally, there is a small boutique with coffee machines and filters, also charts about coffee around the world, You can also buy coffee from different countries like Brasil, Colombia, Kenya and Rwanda. Highly recommended!

A nice set up with good coffee. Clearly aimed at the third wave movement and delivering some interesting beans. The 8.0 flat white was good, if not a little bitter, very smooth though.

It is always a pleasure going there. I really like the coffee they roast and offer a nice selection of all kinds of drinks. It is only quite unfortunate that they dont provide Wi-Fi for customer looking to use their computer for a bit. If i were to improve something, I’d like Alchemist to get better pastries. The ones they usually serve don’t really look that apetising to me.

Awful experience with cappuccino and stale limp croissant and cookie. It was like eating soggy white flour pastry, gross 🤮 Bad service didn’t help either! Nice little spot though if you don’t mind spending. One star for expresso which was nothing special. Wondering if other reviews are even real? I must be spoiled with good coffee to write this review ✍️
