Secret spots in Manila that only the locals know of - SilverKris

"Concealed off a busy Makati thoroughfare, this art-and-design hub combines chic furniture shops, respected galleries and trendy cafes and restaurants. Visitors can browse contemporary galleries and shop design pieces, then dine at modern Filipino tasting-menu establishments that pair inventive local ingredients—such as abalone with pickled bitter gourd and coconut cream—with creative pastries like a burnt-custard banana inipit." - SilverKris

It was a cool and breezy place for a meal or a coffee. I was there past 1pm after the usual lunch crowd. Wind blowing, my tsukemen steaming and Hydra has the best crunch eggplant! It had a salty sweet crunchy exterior, generously sprinkled with crispy pork, Japanese seasoning and with lime - it was divine!

Nice place to chill — there are a lot of restaurants and coffee shops inside. Very vintage vibe yung alley itself. Clean restrooms too!

The place was great, full of art galleries for spontaneous visits and there are also food restos and cozy cafe in the mix. We went here on a Friday after lunch (Nov. 17, 2023) and there's few people, perfect if you'd like to take your time in a quiet ambiance and be able to take as much photos as you'd like.

A hidden place along the main road of Don Chino Roces awaits you with so much suprises! The Alley is a great place to be around. It offers various services such as restaurants, cafes, art shops, apparel stores, etc. The place has a number of seats and tables for you and your friends. Huge ceiling fans are installed for proper ventilation. Indeed, this place is beautifully designed. The addition of tropical plants provides a cool atmosphere to it. Worth visiting!

This is a place where you can find some Restaurants like Poison that offers, Doughnuts, Coffee, Ramen and other Thai food, there's also Panaderya Toyo, Museum and Company office. Their Restroom is clean. Parking space can be a problem during peak hours.

A ridiculously cool secret spot teeming with great food and overflowing creativity, from unique donuts to artisanal breads, imaginative Filipino cuisine to the shops and galleries. Something out of a mad creative’s dream. Absolutely a treasure in the metro.

Been here couple of times pre-pandemic and I only wanted to go back to try their coffee shop “Poison”. Their doughnuts 🍩 where so good! And their coffee is fairly good too 😊 The only issue is this place doesn’t really have a lot of options to choose from. They have other galleries and shops but just a handful.
