From the moment you walk in, the warm ambiance and knowledgeable staff make you feel right at home. The selection of wines is impressive, offering a carefully curated mix of local and international options to suit every palate. The staff is friendly and well-versed in their offerings

Such an amazing time! The food was faultless, the staff were gorgeous and we had one of our best girls nights to date! Big hugs to all the kind humans that served us last night - you were grouse <3

My new favourite wine bar in the area...I kinda wanna gatekeep. Great wine selection and the anchovies on baguette were delicious.

Disappointing experience. I thought I’d found the perfect spot for a Sunday date night, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. We were initially impressed by the beautiful interior and cosy lighting… such a promising start. We ordered a bottle of wine and a few small plates: oysters, olives, burrata, and cheese toasties. Not long after, our waitress came over, very apologetically, to let us know they were out of bread. She saw my disappointment and kindly offered to make a toastie using leftover baguette, which I appreciated. But things continued to go downhill. She returned again to say they only had five oysters available, not the six I ordered. With such a small menu, having two items unavailable already felt like too much. When the burrata arrived, it was served with slices of stale, rock-hard baguette. Untoasted too though toasting might’ve salvaged it. The oysters were borderline lukewarm, served without a slice of lemon and with barely any vinaigrette. The improvised cheese toastie came out on two thick, dry slices of bread with barely any cheese…perhaps they’d run out of that too? On top of all this, the service was slow. The food took forever to come out, despite staff standing around chatting. We ended up leaving with a half-finished bottle of wine, feeling pretty let down. A shame, because the space has potential, but sadly, the experience didn’t match it.

Even if you are not a wine drinker or don't know much about wine, you can still enjoy a glass of wine peacefully at the Alps Wine Shop & Bar. • Recommendation: My friend and I asked for a wine recommendation. The staff brought us her recomendations to try. Thanks to her service, we could select wine easily. • Nice food: Ordered oyster, bread, and Calabrese sausage & pickles. They were yum. • Cosy place: When I visited last Saturday around 8pm. It was not too loud or quiet. I also enjoyed the inviting/warm interior.

Great little place with interesting food and wine. Excellent service and a great vibe. Menu is quite meat and cheese leaning but staff very obliging.
