The Alps Wine Shop & Bar

I hosted my 30th birthday dinner at The Alps last night, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better night. From the very beginning, Eli and Joe were an absolute pleasure to work with. I enquired at a few venues beforehand and found most to be quite rigid with their packages, but The Alps were by far the most accommodating, flexible, and great to deal with throughout the planning process. On the day of the event, the space was absolutely stunning - genuinely couldn’t believe how nice they had set it up. A huge thank you as well to Chloe, who was our waitress and was incredibly attentive and accommodating on the night. The food and drinks were also amazing. I would HIGHLY reccomend The Alps to anyone looking to host a small, intimate event. Thank you again for everything Eli, Joe, Chloe, and the rest of The Alps team!

The shop offers a ranged choice of wine and some are rare finds. A young gentleman who has real passion helped me with the wine choice, excellent suggestion from him. Their pizza was delicious too!

From the moment you walk in, the warm ambiance and knowledgeable staff make you feel right at home. The selection of wines is impressive, offering a carefully curated mix of local and international options to suit every palate. The staff is friendly and well-versed in their offerings

The alps is a place to visit, the food was perfection. I would recommend the anchovy toast and the pork and fennel pizza with hot honey. Thanks to the amazing chef-Elliott, and the wait staff were so kind and accomodating- Bas and Sarah. We will defintley be back

Used to love this place before the upgrade. It was simple, focused on good wine with small plates and charcuterie snacks. Went to their locals night and feel like they should have stuck to the less is more approach. Waited just over an hour for pizza that resembled something I could make at home on a wrap. The flavours of the pizza hadnt quite been nailed down, the two we ordered were bland. Neither my partner and I couldn't finish the paired wine, it wasn't very good. What seemed like a good offer tasted like we knew how they were making their margins. Wouldn't recommend the locals night special or pizza but perhaps go here for a bottle of your choosing and other snacks on the menu.

This has been my local hang out for a while now. When in doubt I go to the Alps. The best gluten free pizza's in town! The service, the wine and the new food offering are all incredible. Joe's wine knowledge is always spot on, knows exactly what to pick for the occasion. Don't forget to make a booking, the place is always lively! xoxo
