My new favourite wine bar in the area...I kinda wanna gatekeep. Great wine selection and the anchovies on baguette were delicious.

Highly recommended A great spot for wine lovers with a chilled relaxing atmosphere. Exceptional service from the team as they are very professional and friendly. quickly became one of my favourite places. I'll definitely be back .

I love the atmosphere and the wine, great little spot. The service made us a bit uncomfortable the last time we went, though. It was 7pm on a Tuesday and I was still finishing my wine, the room still had a few groups of people there. The waiter came and asked if we wanted another, we said no thank you and they stood there waiting for me to finish, after a few moments they brought a printed bill over, and within a few minutes, brought the whole eftpos machine to the table. It felt rude, rushed and as though we needed to leave as soon as our glasses had a quarter left in it/they knew we weren't buying anymore wine. The person was a young male with glasses.

Hmm, maybe 3 stars is a bit low, as it was a good wee joint, but I've been to a few wine bars and just felt The Alps could be better. Service wise, good. And mabes (thats a word okay) I expect service to make me smile. Here, I felt it was a Uni co-op heh heh. Just here for a job thanks. Food, got the chacuterie board and cheese n breads, and all nice. As it feels like a wine cellar than bar, maybe the food aint the focus. Atmosphere, well Zip and I settled on the footpath, so the vibe includes traffic, thus we lost that convivial ambience by being inside, but as I said, all up- pretty good. Really appreciated one of the staff bringing out a water bowl for Zip and she seemed quite bubbly versus the waiter dude I had. I do like a little personality, so maybe the cool guy approach is for others. Anyhoo..I did see quite a few couples going for dates and the Rosè's I had were good too, so should be worth another try 👍 Zip spam included Zip has a nose for goid wine I reckons 9

Really nice venue, has a lot of potential if the drinks selection was better. The Pinot Noir wine during my first visit was good, but on my second visit the Negroni cocktails we ordered were average. Overall not good value for money unless you’re stopping by for a wine.

Even if you are not a wine drinker or don't know much about wine, you can still enjoy a glass of wine peacefully at the Alps Wine Shop & Bar. • Recommendation: My friend and I asked for a wine recommendation. The staff brought us her recomendations to try. Thanks to her service, we could select wine easily. • Nice food: Ordered oyster, bread, and Calabrese sausage & pickles. They were yum. • Cosy place: When I visited last Saturday around 8pm. It was not too loud or quiet. I also enjoyed the inviting/warm interior.

This was one of the coolest places I have been. The wine was first rate and the people so knowledgeable and friendly. Music was good and the vibe excellent. Check it out.

Charming little wine bar. A huge selection of wines fills one wall almost entirely. The place was just cranking up when I arrived. Nice R&B mix playing. One Makers Mark on ice. Lovely. There’s a big big communal table in the center of the place which would no doubt go off completely as the evening wears on. Service was lovely. Polite and very helpful. Nice spot. It has a really good feel. Recommended.
