The Amala Boutique Retreat

We stayed at the Amala for 3 nights, in a 2 bedroom estate with a large private pool. The “room” was a large open area with kitchenette, dining and living spaces, and 2 enclosed bedroom, each with their own luxury bathroom and outdoor shower. ||The staff was very nice and accommodating. We chose to eat mostly in the immediate area but used their shuttle to take us to another part of town. ||We had the breakfasts included, and, oh what a breakfast it was! It’s ala Carte, and you get to choose from different selections or daily specials. Of especial note was the Happy Morning smoothie bowl. ||Truly a luxurious stay, not to be soon forgot. ||About the only negative was that every mosquito in a mile radius seemed to bite me. The staff was very good about spraying, and the rooms had netting, but I get bit everywhere I go.

First class hotel. It has a family vibe with a single focus on making each guests experience truly memorable. They exceed in guest interaction as each member of there team is as polished as the next. Food, spa, rooms are superb. Highly recommended. Great experience well done the Amala.

We had an amazing stay at The Amala! The room was beautiful with a private pool. The cleaners came everyday but always came when we were out and about so they didn’t disturb. All the staff were lovely, really friendly and very helpful. I got bali belly on the last night and the hotel driver took me down to the medical centre immediately, waiting for me all night until I was able to leave! Would highly recommend. Amazing people and a beautiful place’

Such a beautiful place. The staff are amazing. Our pool villa was fantastic. We experienced a cooking class and market visit with the chef. Wow that was great. The meals can be in your villa which we did most days. This place is just down the road to wonderful eateries and shops. Thank-you The Amala for a wonderful experience.

We had an excellent one night stay in The Amala. We ate twice in the restaurant and food was excellent and well priced . |We also took advantage of the free massage which was so good we rebooked a second on our departure day . The hotel also provided a free collection from the airport and a free local drop off to our longer term stay in Seminyak .|The villas were well provided with an outdoor bathroom and small pool. |A lovely oasis in the busy town that is Seminyak

We had such a wonderful stay at The Amala Villa in Bali. The breakfast was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully served every morning. The private pool was amazing; super clean and refreshing, we really enjoyed spending time there. The view was also a dream — surrounded by lush greenery, it felt so cool, peaceful, and refreshing. It was the perfect place for us to relax and recharge. Highly recommended!

I really enjoyed my stay at this villa. The place is beautiful, cool, clean, and very comfortable. The location is also super strategic, easy to access and close to many spots. Service was great, and the staff were friendly and responsive. The villa offers complete facilities, including a pool (with both shallow and deep areas), a gym, and a steamer. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to try the steamer since it took quite a while for the room to heat up, so if you plan to use it, make sure to spare some extra time. The gym is quite small and the equipment is limited (just dumbbells, a treadmill, and a stationary bike), but it’s still decent enough for a quick workout. Parking space is safe and sufficient for both cars and motorbikes. Breakfast was delicious, the juice was fresh, and I personally loved the Nespresso coffee provided. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and I’d be happy to come back again!

Stayed at the Amala in June this year for 10 days and 10 nights and we felt very looked after from the beginning to end of our stay. The staff went above and beyond in making us feel welcome and relaxed with 24 hour service. The food and drinks served was all delicious and the amenities were excellent. Felt like royalty staying at the Amala and definitely recommend to stay here if you visit Seminyak, Bali. Always fresh towels and bottled water, villa cleaned daily and a turn down service and bug spray each evening. Had 2 massages during our stay onsite as well as a private cooking class which were very enjoyable and relaxing. If we had any questions or issues they were addressed promptly and efficiently. Could not find a fault if I tried. Everyone was so lovely and accommodating. Was neatly tucked away off the busy streets of Seminyak so you definitely felt like you could relax. 10/10 😊
