Shrimp and grits dish was superb; blackened chicken with linguini was phenomenal. Acqua panna liter of water X 2. Kyla was great. Fantastic museum and restaurant.

Fantastic food!!!! A lot of places in New Orleans are a la carte. Not here! A decent portion of food for the price you pay! Had a burger, and it was delicious!! Fries were crispy and tasty! Only had a short wait for a table. Staff was attentive and friendly!

Stopped in for lunch while touring the WWII Museum. As baby boomers we don’t eat the quantity we used to eat, so they allowed us to split the fried chicken sandwich which has shredded lettuce & a special sauce that was really good. Didn’t know it would come with delicious fries so we ordered beignet fries which were attractive & good.

My son and I decided to eat here after touring the museum. We were promptly and pleasantly greeted and immediately seated. Our server came within one or two minutes, took our drink order ( we both ordered iced tea) and since we had already decided on our meal took our food order. I ordered a shrimp poboy. Within in a few minutes our drinks and food arrived. Food was very good. During our meal my son son had finished his glass of tea and I had just a bit left of mine. Our server came back to our table, asked my son if he would like a another tea. He replied yes. The server didn't ask me about a refill at all. She took his glass, came back in a few minutes with his refill and our check. By that time I had finished my tea. She still never asked me about a refill. We finished our meal and waited on her to return to our table to take our check for payment and a refill on my tea. She never did. She walked by our table several times never looking our way. We finally got tired of waiting and, not knowing if we pay our server or up front, I took our check to the front desk to pay. I handed the girl our check and she informed me that we pay our server. I said I would have if she had ever bothered to return to our table. She never did. The girl apologized, took our check and my payment method to process. She returned and i finished the transaction. I informed her the food was really good but the service, not so much. I told her what happened. She apologized again but didn't really seem like she was going to do something to correct the issue or inform anyone so it wouldn't happen again. I would recommend for the food and convenient location at the museum but not for the service.

Don’t sleep on this museum restaurant. It was delicious. I had the crab cake sandwich special with fries and it was delicious. The restaurant is also high class and beautiful.

Customer service was so pleasant here & the food was great thank you! We ordered their Chicken Sandwich, All American Burger, Andouille Fritters & Fried Oysters 😋

Google
Great food! Friendly staff! After a long tour of most of the buildings and exhibits in the museum, I needed a snack and some Iced tea! The did have unsweetened iced tea, which was wonderful and considerate. Note to Louisiana restaurants: not everyone wants or can have sweet tea! It is cheap and easy to make and pure profit. Please offer UNSWEETENED strong brewed ice tea! The Fried Green tomatoes with steamed shrimp was DIVINE! Beautiful plating and so delicious!

The food was and service were great! The staff is incredibly patient and kind. Our waitress Alexandra and the woman who I assume was the manager had to deal with 2 tables of difficult customers around us and they handled it with such grace and smiles.

Yelp
This was my first visit to the restaurant in years and they have revamped the area. The ambiance is casual with a square sized bar in the middle of the main dining room and about ten or so tables along the walls. Happily the food was more delicious than my last trip there (sometime before the 2020 quarantine). I was at the museum for a symposium on the newest exhibit (Fighting for their Right to Fight) and had 90 minutes for lunch. I wanted a meal that would be satisfying but not make me drowsy. Typically, I would avoid red meat for that purpose, however, there are so few short rib dishes on local menus that when I saw the short rib gnocchi on the menu, I had to get it. After discussing it with my server, Cameron, I decided that the size would probably fit my appetite. The portions, temperature and flavors were perfect! I would definitely get it again. Cameron served at the bar and he provided pleasant and attentive service. The staff had a smooth operation and based on my seat, all the dishes served looked appetizing. I enjoyed my meal and then walked to the exhibit down the hall to experience it before returning to the symposium. Definitely consider American Sector next time you are in the area.

Yelp
While touring the WW2 Museum and being exposed to an overwhelming amazement event that is the museum, we developed some good ole fashion hungry pains. We stopped in to this on-site establishment. The place is clean and staff greeted us with genuine smiles and quickly made us feel welcomed. The food caromas drifting in from the kitchen. The prices didn't invade our wallets and force us into a difficult choose. The food matched the smell we detected. The shrimp po-boy was so delicious and worth enjoying every bite. The food is good. It's a must have stop in the museum.

Yelp
Just what we needed! American burger, bomber burger - great cook, great flavor, perfect proportions, and regular but decent fried with great seasoning. Caesar salad was actually a decent portion, not a healing pile of lettuce like usual. We tried the lemon meringue and it was so cute and tasty, we loved the personal serving size. We tried the juicifer IPA, to be expected. Rosemary the riveter was delicious, perfect sizing and not an overpowering liquor taste. The service was impeccable, we were waited on by two individuals who were so on top of things. No complaints.

Yelp
We came in here for a bite and a drink after a couple of hours at the World War 2 museum. Their dining room is light and spacious-we were able to easily seat our party of seven. I ordered their Caesar salad which was simple and good. I like their combination of greens with the Caesar because it gave it great texture. I also ordered a cocktail, the Purple Heart. This was indulgent-I loved the gin and blueberry forward flavors in this cocktail and it was refreshing on a 90 degree day. This meal was elegant, fresh, tasty and a wonderful way to recharge before spending more time in the museum. I would love to come back!

Yelp
One of the most upscale museum restaurants that I've visited, clean, modern and spacious. WW2 museum restaurant , named after the American sector of West Berlin from 1945-1989. Came here on a Monday at 11:35am, and the place was almost empty. Immediately shown to a prepared table, equipped with cloth napkins wrapped around clean metal fork and knife. Took about 8 minutes for our ordered food to come. The $10 bowl of soup du jour corn chowder and crab was a disappointment, with no creamy soup, and no crab to be tasted. The $11 bowl of gumbo should have been renamed as rice gumbo, as far more rice than chicken and Andouille sausage combined. The soup was a bit on the thin side. Wife and I split the $19 fried shrimp po-boy. It had six breaded shrimp overwhelmed by the size of the French bread, and potent aioli sauce, supplemented by lettuce, tomato, and pickles. Not sure why you need breaded shrimp instead of grilled shrimp when you have the shrimp on a large piece of bread. Dish came with fries- will have to remember to order unsalted fries next time, although these were pretty tasty, and not too salty. Seems like fries are the state vegetable, as haven't seen any other vegetable aside from salad on the menu.

Yelp
My friend and I were going to see a Christmas show at the Stage Door Canteen so we decided to stop at the sector bar for drinks. The bar was a little busy on Sunday afternoon around 2:00pm but service was still great. We decided to get Holiday themed drinks and they were delicious.

Yelp
Service was questionable, it took a while to get our food. It was hot though. No one came back to us after we got our food. I love the pictures. Ambiance was amazing everyone really minded there own business and we were able to talk within ourselves. The food was amazing. The portion of fries is enough for at least 4 people. They frogot some of my change they were supposed to give back.

Yelp
Had lunch here when we visited the incredible WWII museum. We enjoyed the Bomber burger and Spinach Pesto salad with chicken, both good. Service was quick, restrooms were clean, would return.

Yelp
If you're in New Orleans, don't miss The American Sector at the WWII Museum. They serve the BEST shrimp po' boy ever! The shrimp is perfectly seasoned and fried, nestled in a fresh, crusty roll. It's a must-try for anyone craving an exceptional po' boy. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I had the burger with fries, and the wife had the mushroom burger . Served up fast and friendly. The place was beginning to wind down for the day

Yelp
Didn't realize this is part of the National WWII Museum here until after we ate. Solid spot, fresh and hot food good portions and service Had the gumbo for lunch. Decent portion $11 for a big bowl. Good flavor with just a tad of spice. Add some Tabasco and it's perfect for me. The rest of the group had shrimp po boy (BIG), chicken sandwich, patty melt and a Burger. All were reasonably priced considering the location and portions were good.
google avatar

Devin T.

Yelp
The service and ambiance was very nice. I got a salad which was very small, not filling at all. The gumbo was really good.

Yelp
I was part of a group of twenty or so today and we had an early lunch at The American Sector restaurant. The service was amazingly good and food arrived promptly. Everything was beautifully clean and well appointed but--and I hate to say this--my food just wasn't good. And in New Orleans, that comes close to being a sin. Several of us ordered the fish and chips which consisted of fried fish, fries and a tiny order of slaw which appeared to be made from red onions, grapes and red cabbage. I found the fish to be very "fishy" and unpleasant in taste. Two people who sat close to me agreed. My husband ordered the fried oyster small plate, which arrived with the fried oysters completely covered in what seemed to be various sauces. When asked, he said he could not taste the oysters at all because the sauces overpowered the delicate flavor of the oysters. Some at the table ordered appetizers to share. These included andouille sausage fritters and Mexican street corn dip. I believe everyone at the table tried both and opinions were mixed. Some said both were okay and some said they didn't care for either. I know there was a considerable amount of both orders left over. Nobody wanted any more. Others ordered various salads, a hamburger and grilled chicken sandwiches. None of these people complained about nor complimented the food but I noticed a lot of that food was left on their plates when the meal was over. However, the desserts we tried were pretty good. Our table ordered two desserts to share-one was tiny beignets (think donuts) with raspberry sauce and the other was lemon pie. Those who had them liked both. I always hate to give a less than positive review for a place, but future guests should have honest reviews available to them. This is the first time I have left an unhappy review about any of the places our group has visited over the years. You should understand this group generally likes EVERYTHING. We all live within a couple of hours travelling time from New Orleans and were raised to know and appreciate good Louisiana cooking. So, I guess the review is truly mixed. Everything EXCEPT the food was excellent and some of the food was better than the rest. My strong suggestion to the restaurant is to (1) Get better quality fish, (2) Cut back on sauces that overpower the seafood. (3) Consider offering some of the simple New Orleans menu favorites without all the added sauces or contradictory flavors. (Even the shrimp Po-boy came dressed with a lemon aeoli, which would completely change the traditional flavor.) So, sorry, but I don't plan to return to this restaurant. There are too many good places to eat in New Orleans.

Yelp
Located within the National WWII Museum, this serves as one of the only spots to grab food when visiting. We had to wait to be seated as we came right after our movie ended, but they were pretty efficient with texting us when our table was ready so it wasn't too bad. The ambiance led us to believe it'd be a pretty decent restaurant - it was super clean, bright, and the aesthetic wasn't too bad. Our server wasn't super attentive or friendly, but we were served pretty quickly and the food came out decently fast. The portions were pretty disappointing given the price. We were all pretty hungry after eating, but the cost was misleading for sure. The rice was also undercooked in the gumbo so it was almost like we had raw rice grains. I'm not sure if gumbo is supposed to be like that, but it was a little offputting to have in our stew/soup. The salad was kind of pitiful honestly and a little flavorless. Overall, I would say to find another place to eat if visiting the area or museum. Given it's in a touristy area, it makes sense to have higher prices, but the quality and portion didn't match it at all, unfortunately.

Yelp
This was simply a wonderful find. We finished the WWII museum with hunger pangs. Service here was exceptional and the food was very flavorful. We had crab cakes and salmon. The crab cakes were tasty but the salmon!!! A true show stopper! Pure Deliciousness.

Yelp
So glad we decided to stop in for a quick snack while visiting the WWII museum. We ordered the andouille fritters and the warm caramelized onion and cheese dip from the menu. Both small plates were outstanding. The andouille fritters were parmesan dusted and stuffed with andouille sausage. The drizzle of creole honey mustard went so well with these fritters. The caramelized onion and cheese dip was served with toasted French bread. I'm not exactly sure what type of cheese was in this dip but whatever it was it was delicious. Bar service was fast and everything here including the restrooms were very clean. Will definitely be back to try more items on the menu.

Yelp
No one wanted to eat here when I suggested it but we got tired and hungry so ended up at a table. And guess what? They were impressed! It's a real restaurant and the menu and food are half decent. It's the best one I've seen in a museum and it's big. No need to leave to find lunch and then have to come back. They sat us by the window with lovely lighting for some pictures. - Half a spinach salad was yum but teeny tiny - order the full size Thunderbird Chicken Sandwich was good, came with fries - Shrimp PoBoy came with fries and was pretty good too

Chad F.

Yelp
Food was pretty tasty, I liked the vibe of the place and the old fashioned art and music. Was a cool pit stop for the Ww2 museum!

Michael N.

Yelp
What a great little surprise when your going through the museum. We thought it was your run of the mill chicken strips and burger joint to keep you going through the museum but was so stoked to see the menu. We had the Cheese plate, andouille fritters and several WW2 victory themed cocktails. Atmosphere was so amazing and the patio is so nice when you,ve been in the musuem air all day.

Yelp
Planned a visit to the WWII Museum on Good Friday but needed to fuel up with food before going in. The restaurant is accessible by street side and inside the museum. You will need to check in at the Hostess stand for a table. My husband and I opted for the bar so we did not have to wait. Drinks: Bloody Mary - YES! Two thumbs up! Meal: 1. Shrimp Po-Boy and fries -YES! Be prepared to eat it with a fork and knife as it can get a little messy. 2. Shrimp and Grits - Maybe. Small portion if you are not hungry and looking for only a "snack". It tasted good but I'm more of a traditional Shrimp and Grits kind of girl. I'm not fond of fancy grilled peppers and tomatoes on my grits. Ambiance: Relaxing. Service: Fast, friendly and efficient. Interesting thing I learned - Tootsie Rolls: While the WWII economy forced many candy companies to halt production, the Tootsie Roll expanded. Because it was considered "quick energy" and the ability to withstand heat and humidity for longer periods of time. Tootsie Rolls were included in G.I. rations.

Yelp
Centrelle was an amazing server and cute as a button! All of the food was excellent! Definitely worry the stop.

Yelp
Very nice young lady immediately waited on us. There was soft Christmas music playing in the background. Very clean environment. Very large selection at the bar. We ordered a chicken sandwich to share. Nice break from walking around in the WWII museum. Olivia was very pleasant to speak with. Thank you. We also had the beignets fries. Picture below.

Yelp
Raven is a superstar, amazing service, and food GREAT. So much fun, come here after the museum

Yelp
Well, sat us by the kitchen, despite being asked to sit elsewhere. Had a bus person stand beside our table holding a large bag of nasty garbage over his shoulder in a see through bag while he had a conversation with a server. Caesar salad had a lot of content that was well past its prime and should not be served, and had enough answer these for two salads. The furniture we sat on, was broken. There was trash under the table. Pretty disappointing experience. They also tried to charge us extra for a dessert we didn't order.
google avatar

Billy R.

Yelp
Food, service, and ambiance, all are first-rate. This restaurant is in the World War II museum, and will not disappoint you. Now here is the good part, there is an entrance from the street, meaning you do not have to be in the museum to access the restaurant. The food is great, we ate cheeseburgers and chicken sandwiches, both with french fries, and they were absolutely prepared to perfection. Our waitress was amazing and interacted with us, answering any questions we had about the museum and the restaurant. The added touch was the diner setting from the era, along with the TVs playing shows from the era. Nothing was missed, and you will not be disappointed.
google avatar

Cecily W.

Yelp
Decent restaurant inside the WWII museum. Very nice atmosphere and friendly service. We enjoyed the burger and the shrimp and girts here. The thought of museum food doesn't give me much hope, but I'm satisfied with what we got here.
google avatar

Steve D.

Yelp
This restaurant at the National WWII museum was an okay place to relax and enjoy the American menu. My smoked beef brisket poboy with fries ($13.99) wasn't a good value, but it was 8" long, with plenty of moist, tasty brisket on a fresh bun. The fries were just okay. The meal was very filling - maybe enough for two. They also offered a nice dining area, fast service, and a limited bar. Overall, A-OK.
google avatar

Brian R.

Yelp
Surprisingly good museum restaurant! A nice place to take a break before tackling another wing of the massive WWII museum. The standards, from gumbo to the shrimp Po Boy Sandwich, to the shrimp and grits were all top grade. Server was excellent. Definitely a place where I can thank her for her service... haha. Stop by if you're in the museum. It's worth it!
google avatar

Angela C.

Yelp
This restaurant was much better than expected given it was located within a museum but definitely surpassed our expectations. This was one of the best places we ate while in NOLA. The hamburgers and truffle fries are a must. The WWII Museum was fantastic as well.
google avatar

Jennifer B.

Yelp
Yum!! Good gluten free options! We shared the 'salmon' beets. They were out of salmon and subbed drum. It was excellent!!! The beets were amazing and the sauce and little tartness from the goat cheese were to die for! I had a Rosemary Riveter. It was excellent!!! Not overly sweet, but great flavor. We also shared the flourless chocolate cake! Spoon decadent!!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Good place to stop and eat at during your visit to the museum. We ate here after touring, while we waited for the "Beyond all Boundaries" movie. Decent and light selections for a quick lunch. Tasty cocktails and a very funny bartender. We were seated at the bar and experienced quick service.
google avatar

Brian P.

Yelp
Everything about this restaurant surpasses expectations for what you'd think to find attached to a museum. The service was good, but a little slow. Food was delicious but I found the portion size a little small when it came to the shrimp and grits. I also can't stand when tails are left on shrimp in dishes like this. I don't like digging through food to remove them. Everything else was great!
google avatar

Von W.

Yelp
My group had our planning session here and the food was excellent!! We were in the Louis Armstrong conference room. The menu consisted of beef tips, honey glazed chicken, mashed potatoes, steamed veggies, green salad, rolls and pecan pie. NOT ONE BAD DISH. Everything was well-seasoned. The biggest surprise were the steamed veggies, which were tender, moist, and tasty. I didn't need to add salt. I also enjoyed the salad dressing; I think it was homemade. The pecan pie was more of a tart. The crust was so buttery and flaky. I would've preferred they had used higher quality pecans though. Overall, great meal. I don't know what the food is like in the main dining room, however. The main dining room is absolutely beautiful with lots of sunlight. The bathrooms are also really nice.

Yelp
(Tl;dr at the bottom) The only thing I can compare this to is a restaurant in an airport. You know what I mean? Those restaurants that have $15-$23 entrées, but never live up to the price? Appetizers that suffer from a similar fate? This is that. The food is not anything special even though the menu sounds fantastic. Firstly, we ordered the Tuscany Sunset specialty cocktail - gin, bitters, basil, and one more ingredient that I'm forgetting. It was not drinkable, even though it sounded amazing, and I'm a fan of this combination of cocktail ingredients. To quote my brother, "It has a cough-syrup aftertaste." The appetizer, we were told, was great. So we got it, the spinach and artichoke dip. We even added $5 for crab fritters. It was pretty bland, but not bad. Just not anything special. I was expectant of my entrée - I chose between three meat burgers that all sounded fantastic, and decided on the Red White and Blue Burger. It promised a strawberry aioli and bacon. When it came to the table, it was oddly assembled and the bacon was burnt. I know many like crispy bacon but this was, like, shatter-like-glass crispy. The strawberry aioli was impossible to taste. I'm not sure if it was even on there. The burger itself was cooked perfectly. It tasted alright. The catch of the day tasted good but was just lacking. A creamier sauce, something unique. It needed something like that. Service itself was great. It wasn't very busy when we got in but got busier over time. It never got packed. The only issue was I ran out of water and wasn't refilled for the rest of the meal, so I drank from an extra that was on the table. Overall, good service and kind people! Tl;dr - With prices like this, there are higher standards. American Sector just aren't meeting them. The idea of the menu is fantastic, but the execution is greatly under par for what it claims to be. If the prices were more reasonable, I could then recommend this place to anyone who wants a decent bite. Where it stands now, I would feel bad if a friend ate here on my recommendation and paid this ticket price to receive the food I did today.

Yelp
NOT HAVE AGAIN: The fried shrimp po'boy was not very good. Way too much bread roll, not enough sauce and the fries were just ok. I only ate here because I couldn't find a po'boy restaurant close by the museum. Really good service from Brandon - thanks. I'm beginning to worry that perhaps New Orleans is no longer my favorite place to eat.

Yelp
What a great place! It has burgers and fries kinds of things, but it also has salads and grilled fish for those looking for a healthier option. Our sever was absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend a visit!
google avatar

Haley H.

Yelp
Me and my boyfriend stopped here while visiting the museum. It was around 3 PM so it wasn't too busy. I had the chicken sandwich and it was excellent!! We both ordered drinks as well and they were strong. The portions were large as well, so definitely eat AFTER you've seen the museum. Our server was excellent and made jokes with us during our meal. This place definitely surpassed my expectations!
google avatar

Tori M.

Yelp
Really disappointed. The service was extremely slow but pleasant, the food is overpriced and tastes just okay. Really underwhelming. Better than what you'd normally expect to get at a museum, but hardly up to New Orleans restaurant standards. Pro-tip: save your money, find somewhere else to eat rather than here if you're taking a day trip to the museum.

Yelp
Truly an amazing restaurant to enjoy a meal and a drink with an amazing view of magazine street and the WWII museum. Food and service are made well here and they go out of their way to celebrate their customers with excellent food. Enjoy.

Yelp
It was nice to have a restaurant in the museum since you will probably be there all day. Basic menu. It was good and the service was fine. Would recommend if you are visiting the museum.

Steve D.

Yelp
food was very good and a large portion. service was a joke!! we sat at the bar and the clown behind the bar took our order and when we asked for the bill he said I was not our server. took longer to get the bill than our food. we had to ask for drink refills, condiments and never was asked if we were pleased with the food. leave and find another place to eat!! just a foot note, the person that brought our food was NOT the server we started with, based on our experience with him, it never would have come to us.

Yelp
The American Sector Restaurant & Bar (inside the National WWII Museum). I have to say, based on past experience, there are few food venues I avoid more that museum food service. I am happy to be proven wrong by The American Sector Restaurant & Bar. The restaurant was comfortable, uncluttered, and quiet. Tastefully decorated. The service was top-notch (Thank You, Jay, Great Job!), and the GM checked in with us as well to make sure we were happy. We all enjoyed our food -- when was the last time you saw Frito Pie on a menu? -- and provided a much needed break from perusing the museum. The American Sector Restaurant & Bar (inside the National WWII Museum). I recommend it wholeheartedly. Five Stars.

Ronald W.

Yelp
Great museum food. Kind of reminds me of some of the better Smithsonian restaurants. Sat at bar and got the Southern Dinner with the pork ribs option. Takes a while after ordering for the food, so if you are short on time at the museum, I'd suggest the other fast food restaurant option. Ribs were delicious and the rest quite good. I definitely wouldn't order the Southern Dinner without something else like the pork ribs because it really feels like sides to me.

Yelp
If you're waiting for the rain to pass and you're at the National WWII museum, this isn't a bad spot to stop in and get a drink. It's got a fancy, 1940s themed inside. I was waiting on Harry Truman to walk in and bring me a drink. They play 1940s music, and I was waiting on a radio broadcast that japan just hit Pearl Harbor again. The happy hour deals aren't bad. Their drinks are usually a little pricey, as it's an upscale bar. Most of their drinks end up being about 6-7$ during happy hour, which is an honest price. The little plates on the happy hour menu are great as well. I got the duck cracklings, which were excellent. They were crispy, and fatty, and the sauce on them was a little spicy, which went well with the blue cheese on top. It was perfect small meal for 1. And the duck nachos were a good size as well. Their drinks are tasty, and most are a take on classics. Its a great bar if you're stuck in the museum due to weather, or just want a little buzz while viewing the Second World War.

Yelp
Restaurant inside the WW II museum. Usually museum food is well, overpriced and not very good. The restaurant has very good food. Salads and sandwiches were both really good. Cute thematic names. Service was ok. The whole feel of the restaurant is very cool with some neat photos on the wall. Definitely worth eating at if you're here.

Yelp
The first time I came here was 6 years ago for my birthday, while it was under the direction of The Besh Restaurant Group. I remembered a fine meal, with boozy milkshakes and lots of laughs with friends. Years later, due to prior employment arrangements, I ate at the Sector quite frequently and came to realize under the new direction of Centerplate-the mega-corp that runs the same craft services at venues like The Smoothie King Center, The Superdome and other arenas around the country, just how much this restaurant has suffered from bad management and a lack of attention to detail. On any given day, the quality of the food wavered. What was available was overpriced, unremarkable and lacking inspiration. The service is overly casual, lackadaisical and unpolished. From stacking plates on the tables, to gripping piles of dirty silverware, serving ladies last and auctioning off food, there is very little care when it comes to service standards. On one given day entertaining clients, the restaurant was very busy and on a wait. The hostess, lacking any professionalism, SHOUTED down the long museum hallway to notify the next guest their table was ready. It was so unprofessional and unnerving to hear someone SHOUT while trying to have a conversation. This happened a number of times throughout the meal, and each time, startled us. On another occasion, while sipping drinks over happy hour, we tried to start a tab while waiting for other guests to arrive. We were told that we were "charged as we went". To which we replied, we weren't ready to close out our tab. The bartender insisted that they couldn't hold our card behind the bar while we charged drinks. I've been in grungier, sketchier places that would be happy to hold you card while you run a charge, the excuse was beyond comprehension. Unless it was a problem in the past and this was a way to circumvent credit card theft, perhaps your background checks and interviewing should be more comprehensive. Overall, I would skip the Sector all together, it's not worth the money and sour experience.

Yelp
We didn't stay for lunch. The movie was starting and we didn't have time. They had a bar area and a nice menu. We will try it later. It's a good place to stop and get off your feet. Try it if you are there. Even for a drink to rest.

Yelp
After spending several hours at the WWII museum, we started feeling tired and hungry. It's getting close to 4pm. Looked at the nice restaurant setting after we exited Building 3. We peeked in and saw the sandwich board advertising HH beginning at 4pm. It's 3:50pm. We waited the ten minutes. Then we entered and walked over to the huge four cornered bar. Hubby & I both ordered local beers and a couple of appetizers - the truffle oil fries and the deep fried oysters. It was a nice respite after being on our feet.

Yelp
Meh. Went for the first time in 7+years this past weekend for brunch. Had a friend drive in town to go to the WWII museum and he suggested weeat here. Since it was so long ago I figured why not, it was good then. But this was also back when I think it was a Besh Restaurant. 7 of us dined. It wasn't packed but there were other people in the restaurant. The ambiance is nice. Bright. Open. Clean. Lovely piano music coming in over a speaker. The hostess was nice but didn't give us brunch menus till we asked. The food I'd best compare to items found at Applebee's. Mediocre. Not made to order. Bland. Blah. I usually take photos of all my food but the presentation was so sad I didn't bother with more than two dishes at the table. I ordered the black and blue burger. I was not asked how I would like it cooked. When servedi found the beef party hard and a solid grey all through as if sitting for a while under a heat lamp. The blue cheese was just blue cheese dressing that probably goes on salads. There was one pickle. Just one on the burger. I asked for more and was depressed by the hot and limp pickles that showed up. My friend ordered the crawfish Benedict. She said it had no flavor. The eggs weren't cooked right, over cooked. Possibly again underheat lamps? After drinking l our water I had to flag someone down to try to get a refill. All around disappointing compared to how it use to be.
