The Amman Pasha Hotel

Terrible hotel experience. The rooms are filthy, not isolated, with dirt and damp all over the place. Constant noise comes from the streets and the bar upstairs at night, which does not really make for a restful stay. On top of it all, a general creepy atmosphere makes this place one to avoid at all cost. Not to mention the humidity and rainwater pouring through the closed window at night that resulted into the loss of part of our clothes. We came very close to cancelling our second night there and decided to ask for a different room instead. It didn't get much better : we ended up with a Queen Size room on the 4th floor that didn't seem to have been cleaned in ages. Cockroaches were found in the bathtub and the bathroom itself was an absolute nightmare, including mold on the corners of the sink and the tub. You do not even want to shower in such a cesspool (more a sewer than a bathroom). The staff was overall professional and welcoming but things are obviously beyond repair here. Run away from this place, opt for any other hotel instead !

Hotel is located in downtown (Al Balad). Its decent and budget friendly. Great view from rooftop. Its 5 mins walk to main downtown to enjoy Falafal at famous Hashem and Kunafa at world famous Habibah. Lots of restaurants and shops in nearby area. Area is pleasant and secure. Our room was clean and well-maintained. The bathroom was good. Air conditioning was available in the room as required. Room was equipped with wall-mounted television. The beds were very comfortable. Credit goes to our host, Louie, who has demonstrated excellent communication skills and hospitality. He made it special for us. He kindly arranged our pick and drop from the airport, arranged tour to the historical places including our guide and drive (Brother Raoof, he has been exceptional). A delicious breakfast was provided in the morning prior to our departure. We would gladly stay again and highly recommend this accommodation to anyone traveling with family and children through Amman, Jordan. Our stay was exceptional. Thanks Brother Louie

Perfectly located,all "must see" in the walking distance. The room was clean.The host spoke well English,fast check in/out. We could park our car on the parking close by.( 5 JD for 15 hours). Unfortunately,the breakfast was very limited and all cold.

The second time of my stay in Amman, firts time stay in this hotel at September 2024, I was had a good stay from the first time , and decide to book the same hotel for the second time on this October , all the staff was so good. From hotel staff to cafe staff. I feel like home . I book for my transportation as well from airport to the Petra and to some places in Amman. As a woman solo traveler I feel so safe to stay around them and using their services .

Absolutely wonderful stay – highly recommend! I had an amazing experience at this hotel in Amman! The view from our window was simply breathtaking, waking up each morning to a panoramic view of the city was a highlight of the trip. Whether it was sunrise or sunset, the view made every moment feel special and serene. What truly stood out, though, was the incredible hospitality. The staff were absolutely brilliant, always smiling, welcoming, and ready to help. I didn’t catch his name, but a big shoutout especially to the reception team! you made us feel right at home from the moment we stepped in! The hotel also features a fantastic rooftop with delicious food and live music in the evening – such a vibrant and relaxing atmosphere to enjoy the night. There’s also a spa and many other great facilities that make it a perfect place to unwind and treat yourself. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Amman, I’ll definitely be coming back!

Great location, epic views, friendly and helpful staff. My son took the cooking class which was wonderful and they arranged for a Turkish spa reservation for me (amazing!). As is to be expected with an older 2 star hotel, the rooms are a tad shabby but it is safe, pretty clean, and super well located. I would go again. Thank you to the staff for working hard to make our experience positive.

My first time in Jordan and I booked this hotel very last minute. It’s location is amazing, many shops, stores, and areas to explore just minutes of walking. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. |There is a restaurant at the rooftop with delicious food, coffee and tea. You can book tours through the hotel if you’d like for must-see places such as Petra, Dead Sea, Wadi Rum etc. There is airport pick up and drop off available by request as well, which is really helpful especially when arriving for the first time or if you are arriving late after midnight. |I’d recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay comfortably at a great price, while being able to walk and explore the shops, markets and all of downtown.

Hotel had a great rooftop with beautiful views over the city. The staff were super friendly. Louis was also amazing at organising a tailored tour. I was a solo female traveller and felt in very safe hands with Louis and his drivers. I’d definitely recommend.
