Visited as a pub at lunchtime, loved it, so booked a table for dinner for acoustic night. Service was very slow, due to staff v customer ratio, but I can't fault them when you had them. Very friendly and welcoming. Lamb rump and mini lamb pie was delicious and sitting next to the folk music gathering was great.

Wonderful hotel and restaurant. Stayed for a couple of nights and thoroughly enjoyed it! Food and drink were delicious, facilities fab and perfect location. Beautiful cobbled streets leading to the marina a 7/8 minute walk away and lots of choices of coffee shops & food establishments. Will definitely revisit, highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The venue has an olde worlde feel about it and a cosy atmosphere. There is outside seating also. There is a range of food on the menu and a well stocked bar. The venue is open for breakfast and has a good set menu available at various times. It is a good local music venue and has part of the premises dedicated to the music gigs. Really great place. Caters for all ages and pockets!

Honestly the best roast I’ve ever had. The meat was very tender and the vegetables were perfectly cooked. The food arrived quickly and the service was amazing. All the waiters came often to check up on us and clean up our table. I definitely would visit again if I’m in the area!

We stayed at the Angel and Blue Pig for the weekend for 3 nights for our anniversary, and our stay was lovely. We booked a Double Deluxe room, which was really cosy, and the bed was so comfortable I had the best night's sleep. Our room faced onto the High Street, so I thought it might be noisy, but other than the doves roosting on the roof and the refuse collection early one morning, it was really quiet. Not sure how old the building is, but due to its age, the corridors and floors are creaky, and the rooms have imperfections and wonky door frames, but this all adds to the quirky atmosphere. You can feel the history in the building. We booked a table for Sunday lunch, which was very good. My partner ordered the vegetarian option, but this had sold out, so he was offered vegetarian sausages instead, which was fine. It must be a popular option, as this was only 2.15pm. We would most certainly stay here again.

We were greeted and seated very quickly. We had time to look at the menu and decide without feeling rushed. We both decided on the Sunday roast beef. It was delicious! The servers were attentive and polite. We asked for sauces which were brought to us quickly. We couldn't have asked for a better service. Thank you.

Yelp
"5 Stars says it all... Angel & Blue Pig a must." We got to Lymlington in time for an evening meal and searching the high street for a suitable place and we found 'The Angel & Blue Big'. We had a quick look inside and was warmly greeted with energy by Manager. We hadn't booked and despite this he found us a very nice cosy corner. The decor is fresh, clean and depending where you want to site can be cosy and relaxing. Waitresses were very attentive, positive, and engaging. Food: we had the specials, soup of the day followed by one order for a delicious Honey Roast Ham Hock and one Roast Chicken. Both dishes were superb, and I would recommend anyone to try the Ham Hock while it's on the specials, really was lovely. Drink: we stuck with Ale and had some local Ringwood Blonde, they did have a good choice to select from. Good to see pubs/restaurants stocking local brews. 5 stars says it all for this venue, warm, welcoming, friendly and fantastic cuisine, couldn't recommend it enough. I couldn't see how a previous reviewer say this venue is more pub than restaurant... It's so not. Its a restaurant with a bar. Also someone said about it being over priced, well compared to their local Harvester is might be but to us, it perfect valve for this food and service. See my Tuesday review for over priced restaurant... The Angel & Blue Pig was half price of my previous review but had better service, atmosphere and food.

Yelp
Disappointed this time around. Got in at 8:30pm most people finishing off their meals. By 10pm when ordered food eventually came (that they were out of Hake we were told 30minutes after taking the order) the 8oz steak had no cooked sauce at all with it. I was asked if I wanted ketchup or brown sauce which I denied. The steak which was ordered rare arrived medium to well done. Didn't fancy waiting again by now. Coffee arrived arrived boiling hot, clearly made from instant coffe, despite the all singing and dancing huge copper coffee contraption beind the counter.
