The Antique Warehouse

I have been visiting The Antique Warehouse for several years and recently purchased a beautiful teak Mid Century Modern secretary desk. Associates Brian and Michael are very knowledgeable about all the furniture, accessories, artwork etc on the premises and provide excellent customer service. They carefully wrapped the desk for transport and carried it to my vehicle. For the quality of the merchandise here, I feel the prices are very reasonable. It’s always a pleasure doing business at The Antique Warehouse.

My wife and I have found a real passion the last few years in antique furniture and art pieces. We have purchased our antiques exclusively from the Antique Warehouse and are transforming almost every room in our house with a host of beautiful pieces. Mark, Gareth and the team are knowledgeable, trustworthy, terrific people and we cannot recommend them highly enough. We are truly lucky to have Mark running this business in Vancouver and carrying on an amazing thirty-year tradition he started with his partner Larry. His ability to consistenly bring fine French and European Antiques into his store is amazing. We visit regularly and there is always something new to tempt us.

What made my visit even more pleasurable, was the outstanding service from Michael! His level of knowledge, attention to detail, and passion for quality made my experience truly special. He went above and beyond in taking the time to offer expert guidance and provide me with exactly what I needed. I have been a happily addicted Antique Warehouse customer for at least a decade. When I'm in Vancouver, I loved stopping by to browse - the pieces on display are often breathtakingly beautiful. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Thanks to their sales, I've been able to acquire show-stopping furniture despite my 'beer budget.' Visitors are often stunned by what I have tucked inside my modest home...it is difficult to convey how amazing these pieces are. Latest acquisition is a 1680s, heavily carved oak court cupboard. I can hardly tear my eyes away from admiring it - it is so gorgeous yet cost less than a smaller, veneered server from a major furniture chain.

Unlike many other antique stores, the products are beautifully laid-out and displayed over two brightly lit, expansive floors in Vancouver's Antique Warehouse. The items are clean, polished, and restored where needed. Product pricing is exceptionally fair. I was fortunate enough to find the perfect table for an espresso station; an item I could find nowhere else in Vancouver. Brian was immensely helpful and patient during the search and transaction. I highly recommend him and the business.

They have a large selection of items in a large, two story space. It's much bigger on the inside than it looks, given how much space furniture takes. Staff asked if I needed help, and showed me a couple features on a piece I was interested in, that led to me purchasing it. I was able to pay by phone, and picked it up with the assistance of two fellows who were careful and made sure I had a small key that went with it. They do have a delivery service available as well. They contacted me prior to pick up to ensure it was ready and I didn't require delivery, in case they needed to make arrangements. My only downside was that I had emailed a couple questions but didn't receive a reply. We did phone and connected with someone quickly. Overall, I'm very happy!

Horrible Customer Service by Employee Michael. I emailed him two weeks ago. He responded and then when I asked him questions back I never got a response. If this is how you handle a potential Customer..... No Thanks!! Look else where.

I came in here and fell in love with a chest that I wanted for my home, sadly it was 4" too wide for my place. There was something gothic and very Game of Thrones about it. i connected with it immediately and thought that it would be perfect for my spare bedroom. The price was very reasonable. Everything else was like looking at a furniture museum. The prices are very reasonable for the items.

After spending months searching for pieces to complete my dining room, a friend recommended The Antique Warehouse. I made the 90 minute trek from Washington and met Gareth and Mark who helped me find the pieces I was looking for. This is a place that has something for everyone and all budgets. They also helped me to arrange shipping the pieces across the border which was a breeze. Their knowledge of antiques is unsurpassed. Additionally, you should check out Mark's blog. It's not only interesting from an historical standpoint but also a bit humorous at times. I highly recommend this place and intend to go back there soon. Also don't confuse this place with other stores in the area who sell inferior products. This is the one you want!

Totally overpriced. Went to look at a piece advertised with many photos on their website. Arrived to discover that the reason they hadn't photographed the right hand side of the item was it had a giant crack, which wasn't mentioned on the site. Even in perfect condition the price they were asking for the item would have been high, but in the condition it was in the price was outrageous. Other pieces they had in store could be found elsewhere at much lower prices too.

One of Vancouver's best antique haunts. Unbeliedvable inventory at not to be beleived prices. The owners are extremely knowledgeable in both antiques and design and are extraordinarily helpful in helping to select the right pieces. I have truly never encountered a better antique place where people truly care about the process and will not rest till the last second that every detail is taken care of. Nor will they stop until you are completely happy with your product. They exude extreme taste confidence and are a sheer delight to deal with. Tough act to follow for anyone in Vancouver dealing in antiques. I am completely addicted!! Christina Watts
