We checked in in the evening after arriving to town and made mention to the front desk agent about wanting a bathtub for my wife to enjoy before some medical procedures we were in town for. The agent was extremely helpful in her description of the room and so we were happy on getting checked in and into the room. The tub was standard sized which isn't ideal for a tall person, but normal for hotels.
The hot water being out was not normal and even less than ideal. Upon inquiring at the front desk, we were informed it was a known issue since before our arrival and no expected fix was given. We went out to dinner across the street at a brewery (highly recommend), and upon our return ordered some extra pillows and a luggage rack. 20 minutes went by and we received a call from the front desk saying that "my wife had refused the additional items when delivered"... which considering nobody had knocked was not true. Another 10 minutes went by and the security delivered the items to the right room. When asked about the hot water, he too reitterated that the hot water had been out for awhile and he wasn't sure when it would be fixed and "the room was completely flooded".
My wife unfortunately was unable to take a bath through our entire stay afterwards because of the procedure, and so it was something that she was extremely disappointed about. She just wanted to soak and relax before going through the invasive process and was unable to do so.
When I took a shower, I also noticed that the vent above the shower was dripping with, what I hope was dust and not insulation, and so you had to stand on oneside or the other of it to avoid it dropping onto you while you showered.
Other than that, the floors were clean, housekeeping was efficient, and the location was decent for a stay in town for a few days.
The only other comment would be about the lobby bar, watching the staff arrive at 3pm, but refuse to serve until 5pm despite standing around and gossipping with other staff members that entire time. It's not hard to serve a beer to guest, and I watched as the two staff members that set up the bar, turned away multiple customers and told them to go down the hall to the Italian place that wasn't making pizzas. We
