The Aoyama Grand Hotel (Tokyo, Tokyo) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"The Aoyama Grand enjoys quite the privileged position, occupying the top few floors of a mixed-use high-rise in Tokyo’s luxe Aoyama district. It’s tough to think of a better diving board into the heady swirl of sophisticated streetwear, diverse culinary attractions, and name-droppable architecture below — or a better cocoon to escape to, floating placidly above it all. Rooms channel mid-century modernist swagger, each piece of furniture a low-slung statement piece on its own. Bracing, floor-to-ceiling city views balance the scales against elegant wood accents, quiet carpets underfoot, and the occasional patterned textile." - Tablet Hotels

Got the Deluxe King Room. It was great. Comfortable and spacious, and clean. Service was good and the team was helpful. Did not manage to try most of the facilities Loved the location as my preference is away from crowd ie the hustle and bustle. Will definitely stay here again.

Stayed for four nights in room type 246. It is on the 19th floor. The room size is okay and the layout is comfortable. There is a sliding door to separate the inside and outside. The bed and sofa are on the short side. There are a lot of furniture of this height in Japan, which shows a lot of space for tall people. It may not be very comfortable to use, but I think the bed is OK. Europeans and Americans are used to sleeping on soft beds. I read some reviews that they thought the bed was hard. I hesitated for a long time when making the reservation. I was afraid that the discomfort would affect my rest and shopping, haha. The supplies are very good, there are plenty of large and small towels, and small square towels are ten yuan. It is the first time I have seen so many towels. They are soft and not old. The hand sanitizer smells great and the plant smells nice. The minibar is free and refilled every day. We don't drink alcoholic drinks, so we only used sparkling water and oolong tea and ate potato chips. Friends who drink a lot should be very happy~We had a small breakfast and only went to TB on the fourth floor. The choices were limited to banana bread and coffee, and the semi-buffet was on the 20th floor. This hotel is not big. There are many restaurants inside, especially the fourth floor which is full every day.The service was very good. The Japanese front desk spoke English very well. When I checked out, the white girl had a better attitude. The floor attendants are also nice and can be seen cleaning almost all day long. The nearby subway is Gaienmae Station on the Ginza Line. It is within walking distance of convenience stores, beauty stores, and a delicious curry rice shop. It only takes a minute to walk to Omotesando. Suitable for Tokyo experts who love shoppingThe only downside is that my shower room had a bit of a bad smell, and one day I was woken up by the fumes because I didn't close the door. Another friend who was interested in a room with a tomb view told the front desk in advance that the nearby Qingshan Cemetery is a huge area. My room type may only be available on this side, so I didn't ask if I didn't care much. Then there is no doorman. If you bring large luggage, remember to enter through the side door to avoid walking up the steps.Overall it is highly recommended

We stayed a week at this hotel . I used to work near here but didn’t know that this place became a hotel . It’s a perfect location to visit many places. Walking distance to Harajuku - Omotesando , only 2 stops to Shibuya by tube ( Ginza line ) also Ginza & Asakusa are on the Ginza line. Gaienmae station is nearby from the hotel . By taxi , Roppongi is not far .|We booked a Superior room which has a relaxing seating area with city view also well equipped bathroom with wardrobe space .|Free drinks ( included in a room rate ) with enough water service from the fridge . It was a totally comfortable stay .|Hotel has 4 restaurants and a rooftop bar . So you can enjoy different restaurants at the hotel .|Also it has a nice terrace at the Belcomo restaurant & bar . ( there was a multi tenants building called Bell Commons previously , oddly most of taxi drivers didn’t know the hotel but knows Bell Commons)|All staff are pleasant and tried to accommodate your request . It’s a different from chain hotels and large luxury hotels but it has a certain charm with character.

The hotel was a perfect base for our trip to Tokyo. The room, hotel staff and food and drink options were all brilliant. It is in a great neighbourhood - incredibly close to the Ginza line and a short walk to high street with great coffee and small boutiques all nearby.

Lovely hotel in a great location (Aoyama, Omotesando, Harajuku). Service is attentive, kind and prompt. Rooms spacious, offering a great view - we had two interconnecting rooms for a family, and this was very convenient. Good breakfast considering many hotels in Japan don't cater particularly well to Western tastes. Rooms can be noisy as the hotel overlooks a main road. Two improvements can be made: beds are indeed very firm, uncomfortably so; gym is quite sparse and the equipment only has Japanese language controls.

We booked this hotel for a couple of nights to start of our honeymoon in Tokyo. We were both so impressed with the vibe of this place and the service they offered. The hotel is in a 20 story building however only the top 4-5 floors are a hotel so it’s is very much a boutique. This made the staff very efficient to all of our requests big and small. It was also located only 5 mins from Shibuya and so it was very central to where we needed to go. We would definitely come back here when we are in Tokyo.

The Aoyama Grand Hotel is a very trendy and high end hotel. It exceeded expectations with its comfort and the service of the staff. Superior queen was spacious with a seating area and bathroom. 100% recommend and will be back!

As incredible as the views were, nothing could match the wonderful service we received from the staff at reception, in the bar and in the restaurant. They all cheerfully went out of their way to ensure our stay in the hotel and in Tokyo was perfect. Arigato!!
