It's a fancy Greek restaurant in Ginza which I usually don't see in Tokyo. Courses were a reasonable way to eat here. If you are a party of 2-3 people, you need to share the same dish throughout the course since they don't serve food for single person. All the dishes in this restaurant are big. Roast pork was amazing. It worth trying. Their signature dessert, lemon pie was normal.

Top-tier modern Greek food at GINZA NOVO (Sukiyabashi). I've lost count of how many times I've been here! The service is always spot on. Highly recommended for lunch with kids; the staff is super helpful with the menu. ✨ Must try: TARAMASALATA MULLET ROE DIP (it’s an appetizer but to die for!)

Why would you eat Greek food in Japan? Because the food here is AMAZING!! It has a share dining concept hence it is good for groups of 3-5 people or more . You get to taste more dishes. My husband and I had the hummus with pita, the grilled meat, the fried eggplant and the lime pie, which is superb. Everything was excellent. We really liked the ambience and the staff is great too.

This is not the place if you’re looking for authentic Greek food… The pros: the ambience is very nice, and you get a nice city view if you sit by the windows. The whole concept, from decor to service, reminds me of restaurants in New York (especially when the server asked “sparking or still”). The pita breads were served warm (although presented in a pizza box which I found perplexing) and had a nice texture The cons: the food was disappointing for the most part. I was very much looking forward to the moussaka as they told us it’s baked to order and took 40 minutes to come, but the bland white sauce and sweet tomato sauce made it taste like frozen lasagna from Costco…it definitely needed some spices. It’s not that it tasted awful — this is just not Greek moussaka. The yellow peas dip was also interesting. It was my fault for assuming that it’d taste like hummus because it did not. It was a little tangy, the texture was thick and lacked fragrance (again missing some spices perhaps) which didn’t make it a nice complement to the pita breads. For the main we got the lamb shoulder - it wasn’t too bad, and the tzatziki dip that came with it was pretty nice. The meat was allegedly cooked for a long time so it was tender indeed, but to the point that the texture became dry and mushy, tasting like something overcooked in a pressure cooker. The flavor was on point though. When the server came by and asked how the food was, we said it was ok, but the server didn’t care to ask what we didn’t like about it and proceeded to boast about how they have many loyal customers. I am not Greek so I am in no place to judge the authenticity, but I’ve been to Greece and many good Greek restaurants in New York. I just think I’ve had so much better Greek food and this is not this amazing cuisine should be represented in Tokyo. For the price that we paid, there’re so many better food options in Tokyo. Disclaimer: upon some further research I found that this place is “Australian-Greek”, so perhaps this is a fusion restaurant where things aren’t supposed to taste 100% Greek.

Nov 23, 2025 Fortunate to get a last-minute reservation at 17:30 for a Sunday for two. There was a 20:30 slot when I booked at 17:00 too, but when we left the restaurant it was fully booked — very popular. Got a fixed ¥7,700 course. As expected of Greek cuisine with lots of cheese, olive and yogurt, the overall impression of the course was “sour” for me. Sour in a good way, but still sour. I liked the pita bread with yogurt and goat milk cheese a lot. The beef thigh was juicy and tasty but I found the volume a bit small despite the surcharge of ¥3,000 per person — if you have the lamb chops then it’s already in the course price. The ¥11,000 course, which we didn’t choose, simply included welcome drinks and upgraded it to Wagyu beef, so I felt that was a bit expensive for the price difference. Lemon pie was tasty, and again, sour. I got hot coffee to go with it, but a bit surprised to see a surcharge of ¥400 if you want tea, or latte. I’ve never seen a place charge extra for tea, so that felt a bit like a cash grab. We got seated by the counter near the kitchen towards the deeper end of the restaurant, probably due to the late booking but it was no issue on our experience. Overall an enjoyable experience as I’ve heard about this restaurant for a long time and it’s loosely been on my mind. Not bad for anniversaries especially if you could get seats by the window or a bigger table. Very prompt service and back to back dishes in the course as we were done with eating by 19:00 with plenty of time to spend in the evening. Also didn’t expect the restaurant to be Australian at all.

As an Australian family who eats throughout the world we were really pleased with the familiarity of the food at The Apollo. Not sure that the Japanese market necessarily gets the concept based on some of the reviews I’ve read, but in Australia we eat all different types of cuisines with a multicultural society. The service staff need some training to be able to cope with the western market (wine service as lacking and couldn’t order an Amaretto Sour), but generally a great experience. We had the shared menu and it was disappointing and confusing to be able to pick 2 mains but only the lamb didn’t attract an additional significant charge so we picked 2 servings of lamb. Be great to see a chicken and/or fish option without the charge on top of the per head cost. Thanks for a great meal and if we lived here we would definitely be back.

Very good restaurant with delicious food. We took full greek set and it was great, big portions! The lamb and potatoes were so juicy and soft! The stuff was nice, especially philipino woman with short hair was very nice.

I was a bit worried a lot at first because I read a lot of reviews and some are very bad but actually we went there yesterday. Well the atmosphere was absolutely fantastic. We got counter seat so I decreased 1 star for atmosphere because if you get counter seat,it is not comfortable lol. Ofc we can sit but you know, 2 hours were a bit tired for sitting that kind of chair. Food I gave 5 stars. It’s the first time for us to having greece food. Very easy to eat and very delicious. Not too sweet not too salty. It’s quite balanced flavor. Very nice. We ordered main dish with Lamb shoulder. It’s really soft! Easy to eat. Only one thing was lamb was strong smell.. although they served greek yogurt and lemon for avoiding the lamb smell.. it’s remained. That’s a pity point. Lemon pie! A lot of reviews said that it is too sweet? But for us not at all! Very delicious! Perfect dish! About service.. not bad. Just so so! They are all polite but they cannot recommend Nah not cannot We asked about the difference of 2 wines. Staffs did not know at all but they went to check with someone who knows We waited a bit around 5-10mins for ordering wine haha But well hmm not too bad. It’s so so. And beware that they serve free water drink But they will ask if you want sparkling water of mineral water which is charged. Japanese is a bit hard to be understand for us so we ordered without checking that it was charged. Very expensive. Since the location is at Ginza Seriously here is extremely expensive 😂😂 Food is good , the atmosphere is good But you know maybe if you search carefully, might be found similar restaurant which price is more about acceptable. Since every dishes are expensive so we ordered only 4 dishes with 1 bottle wine. It took around 20k jpy 🤣🤣 Well good experience. So it’s worth to first try!
