Great spot! The staff here is very friendly and professional. They are running a very efficient operation. You check in with a receptionist, and your name goes into the queue. When it’s your turn, one of the staff members behind the counter will call you up to purchase/ ask any questions about the product. Added bonus: as long as you have your debit card, you don’t need to have cash to pay. Great experience here!

I was in SF visiting from Toronto, Canada recently and had the chance to visit The Apothecarium. What a great experience! We were buzzed in and greeted warmly - then given clear directions on the process and how to proceed. I registered by giving my name and ID, then we went in and waited to be called by one of the staff. Actually it happened so quickly that we didn't sit down, no long wait. I am a bit familiar with CBD products, but I have to say I learned so much more in this visit. The person we dealt with was extremely knowledgeable and very patient in answering all of our questions, and guiding us to the best products based on our needs. Such a huge selection of options to choose from. Appreciate the ATM available in store too. I bought a few things and have tried them all - great quality! The environment and service is very comfortable and approachable with no judgement - I felt comfortable asking anything and exploring options. I wish I'd asked the name of the person who helped us - he made the entire experience very positive! Definitely worth a visit and we will be back the next time we're in town. Thank you! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Just landed & wanted a new vape, I asked for recomendation bc my first visit & I wasn't familar with their products, after telling what I was looking for I bought their recomendation & it turned out to be a cheap vape, no pull. I hate wasting money & they lost a potential customer. The gummies were okay, but defitnetly not quality products offered here. There are plenty other dispensaries to.choose from. Think twice.

My favorite dispensary when Im in town. It is literall6 a block from the hotel we stay in, Near Salesforce park. They have a great selection of locally grown and sourced products, and all the staff are amazing. I visit every time Im in San Francisco.

Big fan of this place. The location is nestled on Howard Street between 1st and 2nd in the SoMa district of SF. The staff are all super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful when asking for recommendations. You enter in the front and check in with one of the staff. They check your ID to make sure you're legally allowed to be there, then you have an option to enter a phone number to collect rewards points. I believe it's 1 point per $1, and every 100 points you get, you can redeem for $5 off. You can combine points for a larger discount (200 points = $10 off). The dispensary itself is small, but packed with product! They have everything from flower, pre-rolls, edibles, infused beverages, vapes, concentrates, and more! It's basically a long rectangle shape inside with the counter on the left and a consumption lounge in the back right. It is important to note that the consumption lounge is specifically for edibles and beverages, there is no smoking or vaping allowed inside. The Apothecarium is not cheap. This is a nicer, clean dispensary with quality products, and their prices reflect that. This is not the cheapest place you will go, however they will occasionally have discounts and promotions on specific products. For example, during the month of September, they are having a Cann (#1 selling Cannabis infused beverage in the USA) Happy Hour, where you can get 25% off all Cann products M-F 11:30am-1pm & 4pm-6pm! I appreciate the friendly and engaging attitude of the staff, and look forward to coming here whenever I'm in the area! Thanks again Apothecarium, see you soon!

Overall good service and nice clean shop. They have a wide variety to choose from. The only big drawback is that they were more expensive compared to other places I saw.

They gave me an EMPTY BOX!! Came in for some pre-rolls for my birthday and the service was great. Upon leaving town we open the package to find the box completely empty! This was my first time coming here and now unfortunately my last. We called and they offered to replace it but not refund it and since we had to get to Napa we felt robbed because we're not sure when we can get back to the city to get our moneys worth. The box doesn't even smell like there was product inside so maybe we were accidentally given the display. Whether it was the dispensary's part or the company that made the pre-rolls, this was such a disappointment. Avoid this brand and probably this dispo all together.

I was driving from Philadelphia back home to Atlanta stressed da fuk out knowing I had to drive this long ride without no "medicine". I had to put on my problem solving cap and looked up, states where marijuana is legal. I came across some but this is one that was on way to georgia without taking me on another route. I found Apothecarium Dispensary which had great review to be a new establishment. As soon as walked in I was greeted with the most refreshing welcoming approach, immediately reverting my stress to optimism. The employee Anthony P., a young 21 year old full of life and great satisfaction filled with passion in fulfilling my needs, I gave him my symptoms and he filled my script . I am here to testify that he was A1 on my needs. I recommend this establishment to all!! There was no discrimination nor judgment. I am now a member and now have made this my new pit stop. This morning I came into Apothecarium, what a wonderful experience! I told the Budtender that I don't like to smoke and I have a sensitive stomach. I was introduced to Kind Creations! These capsules have helped me so much! THANK YOU!

I came here on a local SF friend's recommendation. Press the doorbell and the people will buzz you through the front windowless entrance. Go to the door to your immediate right and you're at The Apothecarium. The person at the front desk was super nice and friendly, and explained the prices. Fill out a form and show your federal-issued or state-issued ID and you're good to go. The Apothecarium is super slick looking and modern and contemporary. They have a bar looking area in which you order your merchandise. The person working the bar area showed a comprehensive menu of items, separated by categories such as flower, edibles, pre-rolls, etc. The person explained everything really well and was very cool to talk to. Sad face for me as the edible gummies I wanted, they didn't have. I went ahead and went with some tabs.

Staff was super friendly & place is clean and super cute! Yazzy helped us out and was super informative on the product. Thank you yazzy we will be back

Apothecarium is a very chic & modern dispensary with helpful budtenders! I came here for some edibles specifically gummies and the woman who assisted me was so friendly! She helped me choose between many options and even suggested her faves! The menus are on big screens which allow you to scroll through easily and click on items you may be interested in to learn more. It also helps keep you distanced from the staff. Prices are reasonable as well. I will definitely be coming back here! Last but not least - COVID-19 CHECK: all staff is wearing masks and enforcing social distancing. Only the person purchasing will be allowed in the store.

Love their products and enjoy using their to the door delivery!! Try the thc in pill form :) I just love being able to get my high without lighting up!

Came here with a buddy on day one of legalized recreation during the afternoon. I figured there would be a long line after work. After filling out a short form and giving my CADL, I went into the roped line that was on the inside of the waiting area. Took about 10 minutes to get to the front in which I had plenty of time to look over the menu and appreciate the art they had on the walls. I had an idea of what I wanted to try out and went with the 12 pack of prerolls in the tin where my buddy got some gummies and other stuff. Guy behind the counter was very friendly and welcoming, and I didn't feel rushed. Got $5 off for being a new customer and childproof bag to carry the goods. Came back on another occasion with a friend visiting and grabbed a couple of cones and got another $5 off for referring somebody! Didn't know there were all these perks. Turns out you get $5 off on your birthday as well. Not sure what the whole gamut is, but it is clear that the shop appreciates your business and shows their customers a lot of love. Highly recommend coming here. No pressure to get anything and they are happy to answer any questions you might have on any of their products.

I am soo confused as to why this stellar dispensary doesn't have a solid 5 stars, but I also know enuff about yelp and review mentality to not bother reading further - I have a solid history of consistently amazing experiences with Apothecarium. (Even if I can't spell it correctly the first time.) Product selection is great- responsibly sourced, well curated, and with a focus on wellness and targeted applications. I'm not looking to get slaughtered and stare at the wall. There is a time and a place for that.. and for me, that's decades ago. Today, I want my budtenders to be well informed, to know their terpine profiles and have a working knowledge of the endocanabanoid system, and to help me address specific needs. These folks do. They are legit product experts who I can turn to for helpful recommendations. Ambiance wise, this place feels good. It's civilized, polished, professional. Price wise it feels appropriate but I'm not a market expert. They run sales frequently and have a nice customer points program. In (not so) short: I dig this place. See above ;)

Loved this place. The staff was warm and welcomed me with a nice selection of the latest and greatest items they had available. They provided guidance on bottom, middle and top-shelf products that they had in their store without up-charging me. After I made my selections, they were able to swiftly move me along in the checkout process without any hassles. Highly recommend this place if you're in the area.

Hands down the best dispensary in the area. Great selection of products thanks to Harley! Shoutout to the rest of the staff thoooo If you're coming here for the first time, you are required to make a profile so bring your ID! Also, if you're new you probably will have questions. So DO NOT COME AFTER 8:45! The same people giving you excellent service are the same people that have to go home to learn more, tend to their families, feed themselves, and get rest.

Love the experience at this spot. They seat you on a leather chesterfield couch before calling you up to the bar to consult one of their employees. I wasn't super impressed with my consultation, but I did come in there knowing already what I wanted. They don't carry any dog products FYI. I was hoping for some CBD oil specifically for dogs or CBD treats. Overall I would definitely come back again to browse the menu. I do like that they didn't make me go through a whole profile submission process like a lot of other spots. I was able to use a guest sign in that required only a quick check of my ID.

Love this place! Classy, high end feel. Clean and well laid out interior. Super comfy. Everybody's nice and informative. I work a block away so this is my go-to for edible gummies and pre-rolled joints. I tried two types of Lagunitas weed beer and I think it sucks! It's neither beer like you know and love; nor is it a savory flavor of whatever it's supposed to be. I wish they just made like root-beer weed soda or cola weed soda. Hell, you can do every single flavor of whatever soda and throw THC in any of it and it'd be bomb! Highly recommend this dispensary!

I found the Apothecarium in SOMA, and I'm very happy and thankful I did! John is very kind, and Josh behind the counter is very knowledgeable and patient every time I visit. They show me they care for the site's customer retention, and that spoke bounds to me. I'll keep coming back as the management continues to keep its team's generous positive energy, and that the Sativa options continue growing! Happy holidays!

Completely new to this and not having any knowledge of marijuana vapes, etc.... I took a chance after reading some of the reviews. I called and was greeted by a really friendly and nice voice. I explained my situation and invited me to come check it out.......so I did based on how friendly and professional he was on the phone. When I arrived, I was greeted by 2 individuals who once again, were completely friendly & professional. I was also greeted by a big puff of smoke. LOL. I filled out some paperwork and immediately got someone to help me out. After explaining my situation, she helped me decided on a vape pen and a cartridge. Prices were fair and the store is super clean so I don't mind paying a little more for that nice experience....... Here's where they lost a star still I cash tipped as I know how important those tips are! Minis 1 star for NOT giving me my $5.00 off 1st visit and the fact that I explained I knew nothing of this stuff, I was NOT offered to try it out in store or at least show my how to do a quick 1st time run thru....... Needless to say! I figured it out quite easy and will be back as this place is super nice. Very comfortable, non threatening place. Love it!

1. They don't accept credit cards 2. I went to their atm to get cash 3. Their atm was buggy and slow and worked after second try 4. I got the exact amount of cash for the item 5. The prices didn't include tax and it's very confusing. Why not adjust to the actual price? It's stupid that I have to do my own calculations. 6. Generally, I didn't feel welcomed =bad experience The item was a little overpriced but not bad

What a great visit, normally when going to a dispensary I am nervous and feel judged as I truly know so little about the different strains and types. Plus, I only buy edibles as I don't smoke. Here I was treated so kindly, and with patience and understanding. I did not feel judged or rushed. My questions were answered, and I was given helpful suggestions. A great visit, Yasmere was a fantastic budtender.

I have never received better service at a dispensary than my time at the "The Apothecarium". That honor is specifically due to the amazing assistance and professional care Davante Cade took during my transaction. Davante was knowledgeable and able to find exactly what I needed, going the extra mile to research an answer about a purchase. I look forward to returning to the The Apothecarium in the future!

I am so excited to see what the SOMA Apothecarium SF grows into! It has a similar feel to the original flagship store for those of you who have been medicating since 2011:) With friendly, educated staff and a very convenient mid day stop on a lunch break I have been very happy with the quick in and out times. I have frequented the Market Street location since it opened and was pleased with their relocation when they moved up the street next to the new Whole Foods in the Castro. I can only imagine there is more to come! Next on my list is a visit to the Lombard Apothecarium SF! My favorite part about my Apothecarium experiences is the great suggestions by the staff after listening to my needs and questions. High class all the way!

Over the years I've been to dozens of dispensaries and can honestly say that the ONE component that sets places apart is customer service. I've seen the good the bad and the ugly. Apothecarium SOMA and Harley (sp?) in particular went out of their way to make things right and thus have created a loyal customer. Thank YOU!

I stopped by the Apothecarium for the first time today to pick up an online order. The ordering process was seamless, and the text notifications were prompt and detailed. When we arrived the staff greeted us and provided a great customer experience, despite the challenges of operating during COVID. Awesome service and great product -- I'll definitely be back!

This review is long overdue! I used to shop at CASTRO, but I changed jobs! Yazzie was my favorite budtender for years with her smile and wild recommendations. SADFACE, I hear that she's more back of house, but I came in today and she was working later! Devante is also a familiar favorite face to see! He lets me know the deals of the day which is cool.

I purchased something from your store today for the first time. I had a really really poor customer experience and left without fully understanding that I was charged a lot more than my receipt. The person behind the counter did not explain properly that I was getting charged a $2.75 debit fee and that they rounded my purchase up to the nearest $5. They did not give me change even after I asked after the transaction whether the process was done. I'm really disappointed and called them but the same person claimed he explained all this which is definitely not true and that I could "come by and pick up the change".

Products are okay. The staff here are incredibly rude. I came in here with a friend not knowing how this dispensary worked (there's basically a bar where the server will give you a menu of the items they keep in the case) and the girl working behind the counter was very dismissive - she didn't bother with an intro of how the place worked after we flagged her down and said we had never been there before, and barely answered our questions. Pro is that the location is convenient, but you can find other dispensaries in soma or Fidi with much better service (see 2one2 on california - the people there are super nice but the place is small).

I usually go to The Apothecarium in Castro, and I absolutely love it. I stopped by this location on my way home from work and was extremely disappointed. Everyone who works there is extremely rude and will not help you search for the best products. Pretty much the same products as Castro location but terrible experience. Definitely do not recommend this location - if you want to try out The Apothecarium, it's worth hopping on MUNI to go to the Castro location instead of this one.

so yeah. was looking for igzactly and their website led me to a general weedmaps page. couldn't find "igzactly" in weedmaps search by name. When i called to ask about the menu since i still didn't know they had changed their name, they informed me they changed names from igzactly to apothecarium THREE MONTHS AGO. ok, so maybe if they had just changed names this month, i can understand not communicating the changes. three months, however, is a joke. it's insulting to your customers. from my last experience with the new staff to this extreme laziness, it's obvious they do not need new business and do not care to try to get business. i had to find out igzactly had been renamed by using weedmaps map. the igzactly wesbite is STILL UP under IGZACTLY. dude you guys are a hot mess right now. i would not spend any money there until they get their business in order.

I generally love the Apothecarium for it's atmosphere and consistent commitment to discernment of quality/ high-end Cannabis and Cannabis products. The Howard street location in particular is super sweet for the same luxury atmosphere, with less of a wait and the cheers-y neighborhood feel :) It's cozy and kind of feels tucked away in SOMA. I love not having to wait in some exaggerated line (since this is more of a 'working' area - less of a party vibe around here, no offense Castro Apothecarium!) , and still have that consistent quality product as well as knowledgeable product consultation. Harley and Markel were my first encounters at the front entrance, and were just so warm and invested in my experience, I couldn't help but stay engaged for a while before I made my way to the consultation counter. Mike assisted me in choosing some great Pre-rolls, gave me options, talked me through the flower in the product. I had a completely encompassed product review experience to fully equip me. I felt so happy with what I got (Apothecarium's Pineapple Express pre-roll pack) - small stack, heavy hitters ! Just what I wanted , and also just like me ;) lol ... seriously though - Thank You Mike, Harley and Markel for making my experience so pleasant and cozy! I'll be visiting again soon!

I love The Apothecarium. Super impressed by the ease of their process, cleanliness of the store, variety of product and service. Whatever you're looking for, they'll have it and their menu, while expansive is organized. Everytime I go in here the staff is attentive and knowledgeable. A+ all around.
