If you want to visit here, don't believe the Google map😅. It pointed out a quite different location. The amount on the menu was a big size and delicious. We were only 2 people so we left quite a lot, so sad. Anyway, the taste was excellent and the service was also good.

Recently tried out this place after hearing some recommendations from my friend. And here are some dishes that impress us: 🥩 Beef Tartare Bibimbap – Fresh, buttery beef tartare over warm rice, topped with crispy bits and a golden yolk. A perfect mix of textures! 🐔 Spicy Chicken Feet – Not for the faint of heart! Packed with heat and flavor, this one is a true Korean classic. 🦆 Smoked Duck Salad – Tender, smoky, and paired with a refreshing crunch—so good! 🐷 Pork Intestine with Tteokbokki – One of my absolute favorites! The spicy-yet-sweet sauce was addictive, coating the chewy rice cakes and crispy pork intestine perfectly. Absolutely add this place to my favorite list whenever I'm craving for some Korean foods in town.

I am flabbergasted by the experience tonight. I read reviews and noticed that a lot of people mentioned that the service in this restaurant is horrible. So we went with that already in mind. We ordered several things and we were asking about the menu items and their spice levels because we have some people in our group that don't handle spice well. There was a few tteokbokkis on the menu and there was a spicy seafood one and a creamy regular one. We asked if we could get the seafood one less spicy: no. Ok? We then asked if we can order the creamy one with the added seafood: no. Alright.... We went with the creamy one. It was good but not a traditional tteokbokki. We then ordered a beef volcano which was gochuchang sauce and vegetables all mixed together with beef. It was extremely spicy and we asked if we could get some cream on the side to help with the spiciness to make it more rose sauce style. Waitress said she can't do that. And we asked why. She said she needs to ask the kitchen. We waited and she came back and said she can't bring any cream because unfortunately she can't charge us for it in any way.... We just asked if we can order a coffee and some cream on the side. She said they don't have coffee. We even asked to just pay for it as if it were a drink, she said she can't do that. They were being sooooo difficult. I've never had such a painful experience asking for accommodations in a restaurant. We weren't even asking for a big favour, literally just some 18% or literally whatever they have in the back, on the side, to help with the spiciness of the dish. It was very awkward and because of the poor customer service and lack of accommodations to better our experience, we won't be coming back. There's other way better Korean restaurants that are more than willing to please a customer when they have some intolerances during their meal.

I have eaten here for the 3rd time and I love it every time. I especially like the apron's beef tartare. I love the chicken feet soup. But it's too spicy. I hope the kitchen will reduce the spiciness of the chicken feet soup. It's perfect. I will continue to visit this Korean restaurant because the food here is delicious.

I've been to The Apron more than five times—probably around ten—because I know the food is consistently good. I’ve even posted about it on Facebook Foodie YYC to share this great Korean spot with others! However, during my last two visits, the quality has dipped a bit. In particular, the Apron Beef Tartare didn’t taste as fresh as usual, and it seems they’ve swapped the traditional pear/apple for cucumber, which just isn’t the same. Service has always been the weakest point here—consistently a 2/10, whether the place is packed or nearly empty. We often have to wave someone down just to get water refills. On May 5th, the server forgot to properly submit our order, so we waited about an hour for the spicy chicken feet stew—pretty disappointing. Still, I keep coming back because the food is genuinely great. Chef/owner, please consider putting more focus on service—your kitchen does amazing work, and it deserves to be matched by the front of house.

Cute little Korean restaurant downtown near the train. We ordered the duck salad and bibimbap with beef. The mustard dressing on the duck salad was very tasty, although I think the duck might just be the cold smoked duck you can get at most grocery stores. The bibimbap had super tasty mushrooms and kimchi in it, and the stone bowl is always a treat (be mindful they charge $2 more if you want the stone bowl). The side dishes were pretty good (the bean curd is my favourite), but I think I might have wanted extra kimchi instead of the little cut up hot dogs as a side dish. They were good too (as was the corn salad that also came as a side), but I just love kimchi!

This is the spot for good vibes with your friends and delicious Korean food. My favourite place for rose tteokbokki, especially with the wide noodles.

One of the best Korean food I’ve had in a while! I actually came here once several years ago, but food weren’t memorable. But I’m pleasantly surprised when I visited again this time! We ordered raw beef for appetizer. The marination was sweet, but there were fried onions and cucumbers in it which is very refreshing, the meat was very tender. The intestine rice cake also did not disappoint me. The intestine was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the rice cake was chewy in a good way. And the tuna rice balls, surprisingly turned out to be my favorite order today. They added fried onions and sesame seeds and make every bite nice and crunchy! Everything was so delicious that even though we were full, we couldn't help but keep putting them in our mouths. Will be coming back for sure!

Yelp
Gyujun wings are to die for. The light and double fried crispy wings were so good. It had a sweet suttle soy garlic sauce. This was the only thing i tried and i would highly recommend it!

Yelp
Came in a group and tried many items! Literally everything including the drinks were delicious. Only downside was the price which we all found to be a little high, as our bill came out to $75 a person. We also only got 2 small portions of sides which was basically enough for 2 people, even though we had 10 people. The pig feet was a favourite with everyone, I liked the spicy one more but some of our group found it too spicy. The pancake was large, super crispy, and had lots of veggies. Comes with dipping sauce. The famous chicken wings was also great, although the portion was small. French fries came with a unique and addictive seasoning as well.
