This was my third stay at Verdi Budapest and I will be coming back for sure.|In my opinion it offers an excellent value for money, considering what you get for the very reasonable price you pay.|First of all to inform fellow travelers, hotel is not in the tourist area. It's on the city's Buda side, in the northern part just by the Danube river and Arpad bridge. That means hotel is quiet, pleasant to sleep without any noise. A city train station is 5 min away, with H5 line taking you to downtown within minutes. Alternatively you can take the tram 1 over the Arpad bridge, reaching the Sechenyi park also in 10-15 min.|Lobby and rooms are a little bit dated, however nice and clean, with everything in the room working properly. They look exactly the same when I was first time here 12 years ago.|Breakfast is superb - very rich and varied, with quality Hungarian cold cuts, cheese, hot dishes, pastries, sweets,....highly recommend to take the option with included breakfast.|Best part is the SPA area, included in your stay. It consists of one big swimming pool, 2 pools with thermal water of different temp, a hot tub jacuzzi and a sauna. It's open from early 6 AM until I think 10 PM which is excellent. Great way to start and finish your day.|There's a private parking, both outdoors and in the garage, paying 15 Euros per day.||To conclude - it's a great place for both business and pleasure in Budapest, giving you great value for the price paid. A closer to downtown, or a renovated hotel with 'fancy' finishes would probably cost at least double the price.
