The Aquincum Hotel Budapest

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. The room was great, not to mention the spa. We happened to stumble upon a santa party, wich was a nice added touch. When going for a drink in the lobby area Daniel and Vanessa took great care of us. Thank you very much!

Absolutely loved this hotel. Couldn't fault it. The pool area was just divine. So relaxing with warm/hot pools and jacuzzi/sauna. We dined in the hotel bar most evenings of our 9 night stay and the food and service were outstanding. Orsolya Dósa allocated us a great room with river view & twin beds, as requested. Vilmos Kubicsek was very attentive, friendly and anticipated our every need. Nikoletta and our regular waiter (pictured here with us, missed his name sorry) made each mealtime something to look forward to. Huge thanks to all involved. We loved EVERY second of our stay with you.

We were warmly and professionally welcomed by the young receptionist, which made for a perfect start to our stay. The spa area is very well maintained and wonderfully relaxing. Special thanks to Daniel and David at the River Bar – they are incredibly friendly, attentive, and always in high spirits. They truly are the heart of the bar and made us feel so well taken care of. Highly recommend it. Very nice hotel, good food for the breakfast buffet, many options. The pool area is really nice and relaxing, there are 4 different pools, a 27⁰ regular pool, then a 30⁰ and 34⁰ relaxing pools and a jacuzzi with saunas for male and females seperate. There is also a gym, but not many options in it, just the basics. The massages are also good, and you can also take mus baths or get different variety of massages. Would recommend.

Without a doubt, Daniel Marcell provided excellent service, and Linus was very pleasant. The hotel is very nice, with cozy rooms and a beautiful spa. It was our first time, but we will definitely be back. Thank you so much for everything.

rooms fine, breakfast ok , location ok, its dog friendly so be prepared for a few barks. showers had no not water on one day but staff reimbursed price of breakfast. basement pool and spa nice features.
