The rooms were a little outdated, especially for folks with dust allergy since there were rugs. However all of the other rooms (halls, dining area) were pretty nice. The spa is top, can't recommend enough. The gym was a little under equiped but you can get a solid workout there anyways. Great service, be it from the breakfast staff, housekeeping or receptionists! Thank you for a lovely stay

Great hotel. Good facilities, marvelous Spa. I also took a massage, which was real good. Breakfast is very good and spoiling. The location is not the best as you need some transport in order to get to the tourist spots in the center. But all in i really recommend the hotel.

Upon arrival, the first thing I had to do was clean the toilet myself, as it was sticky and covered in dust. The bathroom floor was visibly unclean, with strands of hair and sticky residues throughout. While the bed linens were at least clean, the overall condition of the hotel left much to be desired. The property is clearly old, which in itself would not be a problem if cleanliness were maintained to a reasonable standard — unfortunately, it is not. The floor in the reception area was dirty, and the same applied to the pool area. During my stay, I did not once see any staff performing cleaning duties. In the morning, while sitting in the pool (advertised as being 30°C), I noticed debris and dirt floating on the surface. The pool stairs were similarly unclean, with visible buildup in the corners. The fact that the hotel is dated does not justify the lack of hygiene. This establishment does not meet the expectations or standards of a 4-star hotel. Despite numerous reviews mentioning the same concerns — lack of cleanliness, outdated furniture, and stained carpets — no noticeable improvements appear to have been made. Additional issues included a dirty room door that seemed untouched for months, a mirror covered in spots, and a malfunctioning bathroom drain. In summary, cleanliness and maintenance are significantly below what should be expected at this rating level. I hope management takes the consistent feedback seriously and implements the necessary changes.

Very nice hotel! Rooms are comfortable and clean! Breakfast is really, really good 👍 👌 Prices are solid. The only thing is parking which you have to pay 15 euros per day😞

The hotel is very conveniently located, well connected for travelers by car or public transportation. Our room was spotless clean, however the design is a bit outdated, both in the room and bathroom. We didnt go to the spa, although wanted to check it out, maybe next time. All in all a pleasant stay.

The overall impression is good, the hotel is nice but would need a refurbish soon because is old. The spa is nice, there is a pool for swimming and another two heated pools for relaxing together with a jacuzzi and saunas. The breakfast is excellent. There is a big parking but you have to pay for it, that's not how you treat your guests but anyway I know that that's the custom in Budapest so what can you do? 😀

This was my third stay at Verdi Budapest and I will be coming back for sure.|In my opinion it offers an excellent value for money, considering what you get for the very reasonable price you pay.|First of all to inform fellow travelers, hotel is not in the tourist area. It's on the city's Buda side, in the northern part just by the Danube river and Arpad bridge. That means hotel is quiet, pleasant to sleep without any noise. A city train station is 5 min away, with H5 line taking you to downtown within minutes. Alternatively you can take the tram 1 over the Arpad bridge, reaching the Sechenyi park also in 10-15 min.|Lobby and rooms are a little bit dated, however nice and clean, with everything in the room working properly. They look exactly the same when I was first time here 12 years ago.|Breakfast is superb - very rich and varied, with quality Hungarian cold cuts, cheese, hot dishes, pastries, sweets,....highly recommend to take the option with included breakfast.|Best part is the SPA area, included in your stay. It consists of one big swimming pool, 2 pools with thermal water of different temp, a hot tub jacuzzi and a sauna. It's open from early 6 AM until I think 10 PM which is excellent. Great way to start and finish your day.|There's a private parking, both outdoors and in the garage, paying 15 Euros per day.||To conclude - it's a great place for both business and pleasure in Budapest, giving you great value for the price paid. A closer to downtown, or a renovated hotel with 'fancy' finishes would probably cost at least double the price.

We were very happy during our stay in this hotel. The staff was absolutely amazing, kind, polite, and sweet. River Bar with the best drinks and service during our whole stay. The spa is wonderful, with two pools, jacuzzi, sauna, and a gym that my boyfriend enjoyed very much as I did with the Aphrodite Bar. We will be back for sure.
