20 Best Things to Do in Los Cabos

"A dramatic sea-carved arch where the Pacific meets the Sea of Cortez, best experienced on a sunset cruise; visitors can choose from small boats to luxury sailboats to witness the iconic formation and capture unforgettable views as daylight fades." - Carley Rojas Avila Carley Rojas Avila Carley Rojas Avila is a bilingual travel writer, editor, and content marketer. A World Tour of Amazing Arches

"Mexico’s Baja California is the second-longest peninsula in the world and helps form the Gulf of California, one of the most biologically diverse seas on the planet. And they both terminate in the picturesque Arch of Cabo San Lucas. Hugged by the Playa del Amor on the gulf side and the Playa del Divorcio on the ocean side, the limestone arch—known locally, and appropriately, as El Arco—was carved over millennia by the same winds and potent tidal forces that make swimming on the latter a potentially lethal and thus decidedly ill-advised proposition. The arch provides an attractive photo destination for visitors to nearby Cabo San Lucas. It also serves as a popular hangout for sea lions, who congregated at the spot long before Cabo became a whole thing. Inaccessible by land, those keen to visit this tasteful piece of organic architecture should hail a boat taxi in Cabo San Lucas Marina and say, “Take me to Land’s End, please!,” which is another name for it. It has multiple names, but whichever one you choose, people will know what you’re talking about: that place where the land ends, in an “el arco,” near Cabo San Lucas." - ATLAS_OBSCURA

This is a good boat tour to take if bargained well. You get to see the local beach, the pelican beach, lovers beach, the caves, the hole where the sea of Cortez meets the Pacific ocean- the water exchange’s between the two depending on the height if waves, the scoobie Doo rock that resembles a dog and the Arch of Cabo San Lucas. Great Photo opportunity. You can ask them to take you to medano beach on the right of the port. There are boats frequenting pick ups to the port. So you can stay for a few hours and go back easily on the boat back.

The weather was great in early December, the tour took us to a great spot for snorkeling where we could hear the whales and see all kinds of fish. The best part was watching a whale doing a mating dance. Take the tour, a delicious lunch is included.

I went on a glass bottom boat ride around the arch, and it was absolutely breathtaking. We were able to see a lot of the different species of seaside around the area, as well as underwater rock formations and the coral reef. It was definitely a one of a kind experience and I am so blessed to have been able to witness this on my trip.

We had the best time exploring this place. This was certainly a highlight of our trip here. We did the private boat trip, and the tour guide was very knowledgeable about this area and surrounding area as well. The boat was equipped with life vests and the boat seemed new and clean. Would and recommend going for this experience. You’ll enjoy your time here!

We took a dinner catamaran trip. We sailed out of the harbor and down to Pelican rock. The number of Pelicans here is astonishing! Absolutely fantastic sail!

Simply amazing, especially at sunset! Fish jumping everywhere. Pick your tour carefully through. Booze cruise party? Quiet dinner cruise? Lots of options here.

Amazing natural feature! Was also neat to get to see both the Sea of Cortez and Pacific Ocean sides, as well as the southern most piece of land in Baja California.
