We stayed at the Ardmore in Woodstock VT. right at the edge of downtown. We were attending the hot air balloon festival in June. Our criteria was a comfortable bed, a clean room, and a great breakfast. We are flexible on everything else. The previous reviews were right on. There is nothing else to add. Amazing breakfasts, great coffee, very friendly inn keepers, very clean room, books everywhere, a great library room to relax and read, and a dog that loves the guests. Panda resides at the inn, is very well mannered, and only will approach you if he knows you will pat him. He is very sweet, photogenic, and can only visit with those who ask. Walk to downtown for a stroll, to eat or have an ice cream. You will also get to choose from different breakfast offerings the night before so you can dream about breakfast & there are always fresh cookies in the dining room. Yummy.

The Ardmore was a lovely place to stay. Charlotte is a wonderful host that catered to all your needs while we stayed. She had great recommendations of places to go around town and also had delicious 3 course breakfasts every morning! I would definitely stay there again.

My fiance and I recently stayed at the Ardmore Inn and had a great experience. The Inn is everything you'd expect from a classic NE B&B, the best in Woodstock. Charlotte was extremely hospitable and great at suggesting local spots to check out around town. Breakfast each morning was phenomenal. Cookies and hot cider are always at the ready. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Adorable B&B right in the heart of charming Woodstock. The room was cozy and the bed very comfortable, however the reason you stay here is the amazing breakfast! Absolutely delicious! The innkeepers Charlotte and Cary are wonderful.

They were so welcoming and knew our names when we walked in the door. The breakfasts are served European style every morning and are superb. Special attention is given to dietary restrictions. Hotel owners are happy to help give advice on local attractions and activities. A wonderful place to stay!

A wonderful B&B: beautifully furnished with antiques and high quality finishing touches, very clean. A lovely library where we could sit and relax and enjoy the complimentary tea, coffee, iced water and home-baked cookies. The owners were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was amazing!

This review is based upon the service we received from the co-owner while trying to check in. The Ardmore is incapable of handling the third part booking systems they engage with. We drove for 4 hours to be told while walking into the hotel our reservation was not going to be honored. While lost reservations happen, the lies we were told in an attempt to cover up a mistake on the part of the Ardmore were appalling. Own up to your mistakes, and if you are incapable of honoring reservations from third parties due to technical illiteracy do not continue to use them.
