The Armoury

Finally visited The Armoury UES in person to see and handle Ring Jacket. As expected, the Armoury offers a fantastically curated collection helmed by an attentive, knowledgeable team of experts. Max and Charles were a pleasure to work with and I'll happily visit again.

Shopped Tribeca for years, and more recently the Westbury popup, but I love this new location. The Armoury team have done a great job translating the presentation of the collection into a classic UES intimate and sophisticated setting. And, as always, fantastic service and products.

Disclaimer: I do not encourage anyone to try this at home. I had a wedding over the weekend and waited until the day of the event to find a suit (foolish I know). But Mario & the rest of the UES team made the impossible happen. They could have easily laughed me out the door, but they were incredibly understanding, attentive, and willing to crack a joke or two as they took my measurements. They even called in a favor with their tailor so that I could get my jacket and pants hemmed within the day! Needless to say, they saved the day and earned a customer for life. Thanks again to team at the Armoury UES.

Quite likely the best service of any menswear store in the city. Since most places Uptown have pretty good service, that’s saying A LOT! The clothes themselves are great fabric and great fit. I bought off the rack, but most of the stores business seems to be made to order. I had also needed a somewhat obscure fabric for a shirt to go with a suit from another retailer. They knew the weave and directed me to the only store that would carry it. They know the whole landscape of high end menswear, and if they can’t help you they’ll direct you to who can. Phenomenal place to go if you’re in the market for menswear.

I only started working with these guys recently, but had known of the online shop. Their curated selection really is great. And they are all very helpful. I went in the first few times and didn't buy a thing. There was never any pressure and they were always kind and helpful. This is really a gem in the men's tailoring game. If your thinking of elevating your wardrobe these guys know how to do it. Ask for Michael.

Great retail associates, terrible return policy. Be aware that all returns are for store credit. You cannot return unused items for a full refund on your credit card.

Wonderful shopping experience with true professionals. I've been in the shop a few times, never any pressure to buy, but hard to resist the wonderful clothing. Michael and Dan were very helpful. Will geek-out with you on clothes as much or as little as you'd like. The best men's shop on the UES and one of the tops in NYC...

I have been shopping at the TriBeCa location for over a decade. Westbury shop is a totally different but equally enjoyable experience. The team is always impeccably dressed, polite and helpful. I am proud to say that I have been introduced to some of my favorite makers by the Armoury Team. Further, everyone goes above and beyond to provide superlative customer service. My friends were in from out of state and left a coat behind. The team was proactive and helpful in shipping the misplaced items back. Class all the way.

They have an excellent selection of brands and friendly customer service. They carry Drakes and some new brands which I'm a fan of.
