The Armoury Sports Medicine and Performance Clinic

I was referred to The Armoury Sports from St. Mary's Hospital and received amazing physio treatment from Matthew. He spent a lot time making sure that I was comfortable, and that my knee was better than before I was injured. If you are an injured athlete I would highly recommend Matthew. He curated my treatment to getting me back to the sports I love in a very reasonable timeline. Plus he was always punctual and very easy to book appointments with.

This was our first time at this particular Dexa Scan business. The business has a very good website. There is plenty of free parking in the nearby parking lots. The business is very clean. The $150 cost is a lot more expensive than other places we went to; we spent $100 in Toronto. I was also disappointed with the fact they did not have a weigh scale and height measurement in the office, both of which are required for the scan. Equally disappointing was that no explanation is given after the scan; you're given a paper copy (no electronic version is available to be emailed) and sent on your way. The radiographer was very polite and professional. The real question is, would we return? If another close by Dexa Scan was available that was better priced, had better equipment and took the ti.e to explain the results, as was done in Toronto, i would go to that business instead; otherwise yes we would return.

I started working with Matt following a serious hip flexor injury from playing soccer (too much over the summer). Matt really quickly diagnosed the issue correctly and set out a clear treatment plan. As time went on the issue got much better, with the treatment plan changing to continue the healing. Matt was great to work with and very easy to talk to... good sense of humor too! Would highly recommend The Armory to anybody looking for top tier physio treatment. I also overheard one of the other Physio's, Andrew, with a few clients and he was fantastic. Particularly with young children. Keep up the great work fellas!

Office was modern and clean. Receptionist was polite, and I was able to get an appointment quickly after my referral. Only negative was the lack of consideration for appointment times / patients time. My appointment was at 2pm, I arrived at 1:50pm and I wasn’t seen till 2:55pm. When I was seen, the doctor was polite but my appointment took less than 10 minutes. I felt like I wasn’t heard properly due to the fact that the resident did the initial exam and a brief history, when the doctor came to see me he didn’t ask anything more. I will move forward with the recommendations but I don’t feel confident that it will be my solution.

I worked with Dr. Bahadur and did a VO2 Max test and a Dexa scan. It was a great experience and Dr. Bahadur spent a significant amount of time with me explaining results and what to do moving forward. I also worked with Dana at the admin counter and she was amazing! She not only helped me on site but also supported me with the required insurance information and processes. Overall a great team! Thank you Dr. Bahadur and Dana.

Came with a tendon issue in my left wrist that I have had for 5 months. The therapist Matt is excellent and has made huge change improvements in my wrist

My husband was referred to The Armoury by Grand River Hospital for concussion follow up. Someone called to confirm the appointment but then called back 4 days later to cancel because it was deemed not sports related. I was also informed that they would not seen anyone under a WSIB claim. His care has been delayed due to this discriminatory practice.

Dr Bahadur is amazing. He’s empathetic and really listens to our concerns. I can’t say enough about Maryanne she’s so easy to deal with and takes the time to schedule our appointments even with the most complex needs. Wonderful office and people. We are so thankful for them
