"A luxury hotel in Vail, perfect for skiers and non-skiers alike, with world-class amenities." - Travel + Leisure Editors

"Built in the manner of Europe's grand skiing resorts, The Arrabelle at Vail Square definitely doesn't disappoint. The mountain complex practically sits on the base of the Eagle Bahn Gondola, so if convenience is your goal, this set-up is tough to beat—that is, unless you're staying at the Game Creek Chalet, the resort's private, on-mountain residence. Have the concierge hook you up with your own personal ski valet and loan out one of the complimentary GoPros to document the day's adventures, before you take a seat at Tavern on the Square for a well-deserved, locally-grazed flat iron steak and buttermilk mashed potatoes."

"If your schedule and budget allow, planning for afternoons and whole-day breaks from skiing will make your kids far happier than skiing back-to-back days. One of the easiest ways to indulge in off-mountain fun is to stay in the mountain village itself, like at the Arrabelle at Vail Square, where you have easy access to the lifts but also an ice-skating rink, ice cream shops, and a pizza parlor."

Absolutely amazing property with great service Rooms have heated floors, marble everywhere, in room fireplace, luxurious everything, very attentive and helpful staff Only nitpick is a small TV that looks like it got mounted in a dorm room. Off level, off center on dresser? chords everywhere. Perfect location by the lifts and shops. They offer great incentives to book through the AA shopping app Beautiful lobby and common areas Rooftop pool and hot tub are fantastic

I have photographed a wedding at Arrabelle Square and it might be one of my favorite wedding venues in Vail, Colorado! The potential to decorate the square into whatever sort of elaborate vision you may have is endless! The hotel itself is super classy, very central, and defines luxury. It is walkable to the gondola where many couples get married at the top of Vail mountain! The energy the square brings for fun parties and romantic moments is so unique.

Google
The Arrabelle is next-level. Gorgeous rooms, perfect location, and the breakfast buffet ruled — major shoutout to the pastry chef, everything was amazing. The gym had everything you’d ever want and more, spa was legit, and the rooftop pool was the perfect temp (hot tubs were actually hot!). Staff were great and on point. We had the best time and can’t wait to come back! Thank you!

Google
Lovely property, huge rooms, very comfortable and elegant, well situated with beautiful views. Dog friendly. Attentive staff — friendly, helpful, but did not hover. Special shout out to the staff behind the scenes; this is not a new property, yet it is well maintained and staff are very responsive. You have a good team who can solve any hiccup efficiently, pleasantly, knowledgeably, and to our satisfaction. Stayed in late fall before ski season. Dog liked it, too. We’ll be back.

Google
This is both a 1 star and a 5 star review. 1 star for room 663, which you first put me in. No curtains. Impossible to sleep in. See attached photo, taken at 4:53am. It only got worse after that. Listen, this is a solved problems. We have doors to keep strangers out. We have curtains to keep light out. Install curtains! This isn’t rocket science. 5 stars for Tania, who put me in room 259 the following night; that room actually does allow for sleep! But if the hotel hadn’t been empty, it would have been one star only.

Google
They really take customer service to the next level We did have problems at the townhouse, but Zack saw that it was fixed very quickly. Breakfast was great at the Tavern My suggestion because of the winter temperatures serve coffee in a pot for it to stay hot, Mr Li on our last day there was the only server that refused to help us with getting a pot of coffee . Alana was so gracious when we celebrated my birthday at the Tavern. Jamal is a rock star at the spa . He knows his products and his staff and everyone he got to tale care of me was absolutely FABULOUS. And the crew that offers the rides into town are soooo efficient.

Google
Everyone we dealt with was extremely helpful and went above and beyond. The live entertainment in the tavern (Tim and Taylor) was amazing and the ski service crew couldn't have been more helpful. Absolutely loved this place.

Google
The shuttle service here is next level. I like to drive my car and honestly, with how Johnny on the Spot the shuttle guys are, there’s literally no need for it - which is a massive plus when on vacation. The facility is nice but the 4 Seasons is nicer, but the LOCATION of this hotel is hard to beat! Walking distance to everywhere. Also, make sure you hit the rooftop pool and hot tub for views and vibes of Vail.

Yelp
Great stay at an amazing property. Everything was perfect. The staff is very nice and accommodating. Clean rooms, excellent amenities and comfortable beds. The food in the restaurant is fantastic.

Yelp
Could not recommend a better place in Vail! From the the start Joe at Valet was so welcoming and informative, Mason at Check in went out of his way to gift us a bottle of champagne for our engagement (complementary, which was not expected but greatly appreciated) The concierge also recommended Eagle Valley Sitters services while we went skiing, (Danielle at EVS was Top Tier for our 2 yr old). We skiid at Eagle Bahn and the beginner slope is actually on site so that was perfect for us. Rentals on site and a discount for staying here. We had cocktails and lunch at Vail Chophouse after skiing. Everything is here on site! The complementary daily breakfast is actually really good, and there is a playground on site for the kids. This is our first time in vail and we had the best experience here. Best experience here!

Yelp
Unfortunately, this was an awful hotel. We decided to stay here (2nd time being here) for our anniversary. Summary: 5 star PRICE for 1 star amenities and service, would highly recommend giving another premium brand your time and money. There were a myriad of issues from amenities to service. We stayed 4 nights 3 days. Amenities: Our shower did not function for half of our stay. We were unable to shower in our room. We called and spoke with different front desk attendants on each occurrence. While nice, they ultimately provided 0 help other than suggesting we go and shower in the locker room/spa area (obviously highly inconvenient and far from optimal due to hours and not having your toiletries and clothes with you). This first occurred on the first morning of our trip around 8am, and the spa doesn't open until 10am. After waiting an hour, we decided not to delay skiing any further and left without showering. Not being able to shower in the evenings was also an issue. Other amenity issues: women's spa steam sauna was out of service for our whole trip and also did not have a cold plunge while the men's spa did. Only 1/2 hot tubs was in order. There was a massive leak from the ceiling in the lobby, and it was left in utter disrepair with soaked towels and dry wall on the ground for hours (pictured) right in front of the entry door. Yikes. In addition to calling on multiple occasions, we stopped by the front desk 3 times to discuss these issues and were never met by a manager. We were told a manager would contact us during our trip, however that did not occur during our trip or at any time after. Ultimately, we faced other issues pertaining to service and are really left with no recourse other than to let the general public know what they can expect if staying here. In the unlikely event you stay here and don't have issues with any basic or spa amenities, I'm sure it would be nice. However, I would not risk paying the Arrabelle holiday season premium pricing with so many other options available. I have to add that a front desk attendant removed $200 from our bill, which essentially amounts to 2 days of the daily resort fee. With basic room and spa amenities being unavailable, this was merely a gesture than any meaningful measure taken by the staff. You will have a better experience at any other comparable hotel. Thanks for reading, happy travels.

Yelp
My wife and I stayed at The Arrabelle back in May, it is not at all what I expected from a $$$$ hotel. - The room was super dusty (see photo). So much so that I wrote "dust me" on the headboard. - Our Junior suite was nice but definitely on the small side and as I already mentioned... dusty. - There was supposed to be an Arrabelle shuttle service that you could text and set up a ride wherever you needed to go. On at least two occasions we needed a ride, texted them, then never heard back. Ended up taking the free city bus. - Two times we were locked out of our room because the card reader at our room crapped out. The front desk blamed the cards. - The Arrabelle really missed the mark of luxurious accommodations. I have no need to return.

Yelp
All you can ask for and more Great mountain lodge vibe while still being upscale. . .

Yelp
Superior luxury accommodations in Vail Village. Excellent location, outstanding service. Shuttle. Roof pool. Super staff. Enjoyed my too brief stay! I'd go back anytime. Arabella is owned by Vail Resorts, and was founded by the Rock. Not that Rock; the original -- Rockefeller.

Yelp
Located in the center of Lions Head Square, just steps from the gondola, the Arribelle is an amazing Hotel in & of itself, with beautiful architecture & classic furnishings. But what really impressed us was the hospitality, professionalism, & warmth of the staff, from the baggage & valet crew in the Porte cochere, to the cheerful front desk clerk, to the food & beverage staff in the restaurant to the guest room attendants, & spa therapists. We checked in on April 10th 2022, & stayed for 3 wonderful nights.  Here are some examples of how the Arribelle staff went above & beyond for us. We wanted my wife's skis waxed, but it was late afternoon & the ski shop was closing. The valet attendant told her not to worry, that he knew the ski tech, & would personally run her skis over to the shop, & bring them back in the morning. Sure enough, when she went out to valet the next day, her skis were freshly waxed, & serviced. We loved the breakfast buffet, but I wanted some of the soppressata mixed into my omelet. No problem! They took care of it for me. Our guest room attendant brought us slippers up to the pool when I forgot mine, & made sure our water was stocked, & ice bucket was full. Samantha, our massage therapist, was nothing short of stellar. She delivered the best massages my wife & I ever had, & that's saying something because we've experienced massage from all over the US & Asia. Samantha was the BEST! I can't wait to return this winter for more wonderful pampering by the great folks at the Arribelle Hotel!

Yelp
Quite possibly the worst customer service experience I've ever had with a hotel. Dirty room, rude staff, and walls as thing as paper.

Amanda S.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel resort inside and out! The food/room service was great, the staff was attentive and made us feel extra special celebrating our honeymoon. Getting to Vail village is easy to book through the resort or local bus, we preferred to walk the marked trails though. Our room overlooked one of the ski lifts - we loved watching them come down the mountain to start our day. Thank you again for making our stay here so memorable! We look forward to returning for anniversaries!

Yelp
We booked our hotel for three rooms for three nights starting today, the 23 of December 2022. It was over fifteen thousand dollars. The storm that the The United States is experiencing brought many flight cancellations and an arctic blast not seen in decades. Our flights were canceled. We, along with many Americans were given cold wind and weather advice to not stay out longer than five minutes or risk frostbite. Our dreams of skiing and snowmobiling family trip were not possible. The hotel refused to work with us to give us any of our money back or offer us future lodging. The concierge at the hotel just kept saying that "This is our weather here" The staff is not properly trained to assist customers. We are very disappointed. I, along with my team are content creators/ influencers for many brands including hotel chains. We plan on educating others through our social media platforms about our experience with Expedia, Arrabelle, and Rock Resorts.

Yelp
this hotel is wonderful and the service is just perfect! We had an amazing end of the year trip with my family!!! 10/10

Yelp
I cannot say enough about this hotel and especially the penthouse apartment. This is my 3rd visit and each time the Arrabelle exceeds my expectations. The location cannot be beat, it's the perfect village spot in the middle of it all and has great proximity to the slopes. The hotel itself has a beautiful lobby, fireplace, fresh coffee, great restaurant. The gym is large, clean and has everything I could ever need. The penthouse has a great view and has every comfort of home - washer/dryer, full kitchen, great beds and linens. I have stayed at many Vail properties and this is by far the best lodging option we have found. I can't wait to go back in April for the Taste of Vail event!

Sandra J.

Yelp
Wonderful location, friendly staff, but the units we rented were very dated and had several broken items. The dryer didn't work, coffee pot, bedroom blinds were broken so it was hard to sleep well with the outside lights and sunshine. We also had to get keys rekeyed several times during our stay as the locks didn't work properly. For the price, I expected much higher quality. Again, friendly staff was a big plus.

Brandon C.

Yelp
We stayed here 4 nights & we had a great time! It was our first time in the area but the staff was so personable & genuine that it felt as if we were regulars. The hotel is beautiful & I like how it has a bed & breakfast personable feeling to it. Our room was a Junior Suite & it was more than I expected! The bathroom is huge as well as a large living room with a gas fireplace. The bedroom is large and has an elegant bed with curtains that opens up to a massive patio that could host a party. Definitely Instagram worthy. The hotel even boasts its own small village with shops and a few restaurants. We ordered to go from Vail Chophouse & it was nothing short of excellent..pricey but well worth it. Just across from the lobby is the spa. We booked men's services here & had a great time! I do think it's worth mentioning that the men's steam room isn't the greatest but the staff & the services they provide make up for it. The spa was recommended to us by the concierge Lana who was responsible for our trip being so great! She was so kind & genuinely wanted us to have a great time here. She had the best recommendations & even sent us a bottle of champagne on ice! What a great way to start off the trip! The hotel is in a very convenient location. We were able to walk to vail village within 15 minutes although it was quite cold. If you prefer, the hotel offers a complimentary shuttle. Overall, we had an excellent experience and would stay again.

Yelp
No hot water for days. My wife and I chose the Arabelle for our honeymoon. Unfortunately, service and quality was a disappointment. Bottom line is that we didn't have hot water for 2 days. The staff gave us the run-around and inconsistent communication through the entire experience. My experience was that the staff didn't have any training or empowerment on how to resolve a guest issue. All we wanted was a hot shower after skiing all day. We left messages and asked to speak with the manager, maintenance...anyone that we thought could help we tried to contact; no acknowledgement and no response whatsoever. We checked out and the bill presented did not match what they eventually charged us. The Arrabelle did not follow through with its promise to refund us for the days we didn't have hot water. Had to call back again and got the same run-around. I asked to speak with the manager again. Never received a call back from anyone at the Arrabelle. In the end, we had an excellent honeymoon and we would never let this experience ruin a wonderful occasion.

Yelp
We had a wonderful stay at The Lion which is part of The Arrabelle. We had a few hiccups upon arrival which were handled in an exemplary manner. Kudos to the management staff. Well appointed condo within close walking distance to the Eagle Bahn Gondola. They have hot chocolate & desserts ready for you at 4pm when you come off the slopes. We can't wait to come back!

Stan S.

Yelp
The Arrabelle was our introduction to Vail and we could not have asked for a more pleasant experience and stay. Located in the transporting Lionshead village where you feel like you are in the Swiss Alps, the resort has ever conceivable amenity and hospitality perk one could ask for. And the staff are the friendliest of the friendliest. The Arrabelle is just steps away from the Eagle Bahn lifts where you can catch the Gondola or chair lifts for the sensational slopes. After a day and night out, the perfect bookend is coming back to the spacious and warmly decorated rooms. The extra nice touches are the humidifiers, yoga mat and foam rollers for easing muscle tension. Some the spoiling extras are the free rides in VIP looking GMC Denali to anywhere in Vail where you arrive in style, Supergoop sunscreen that my wife loves so much she bought some at the spa, and speaking of spa, we needed eye drops and couldn't locate immediately but got a call to our room a few minutes later from the helpful spa person that she located it... a life saver on the slopes. Next time in Vail, will not hesitate to stay again as this winter wonderland.

Stephanie V.

Yelp
The Arrabelle is world class. We stayed right off of Eagle Bahn. The location was superb and the service was amazing. On top of the friendly staff a concierge was available to provide tips for popular restaurants in and around Vail. There was an amazing spa area that was luxurious and soothing. There were also 2 rooftop spas so you can enjoy the beautiful views of the rockies. They offer ski valet so that you do not have to carry your gear when you are done on the slopes.

Leigh F.

Yelp
This may be one of the most fabulous hotels we've ever stayed. The staff was always one step ahead in anticipating our needs. I don't think I've ever been skiing where I never had to carry my skis once!

Susie B.

Yelp
This hotel, and the staff, from valet, to concierge, to the restaurant/bar, has made my trip phenomenal! My room is exquisite, and every detail has been attended to. I would love dimmers for all the lights, but there are so many lights and features throughout my room, I completely get it. I adore the iPad feature and wish I could book my spa treatments directly through same. The food and wine and accoutrements are top notch and remind me of the Broadmoor! Every other hotel in Vail has that sterile modern cement thing going on, and this is cozy and warm and right up my alley! I'm going to jump on the ice rink later and then do the roof top hot tub. My floor is heated in my bathroom and I don't want to leave. Yummy, cozy, pampered, happy. Arrabelle.

Seema P.

Yelp
Great service and romantic! We got upgraded to the suite and loved the turn down service. Unfortunately we came during "off season" so it was pretty dead however I can see this being amazing during season. There's an ice skating rink right outside however it was closed during our stay. The car service is awesome which can take you around Vail. Loved the perks with the restaurants and spa. I believe the spa is under renovation but we made it for the last day it was open. Loved the fireplace in the room.

Jacky A.

Yelp
Bad covid 19 policy. everything was a no. No cleaning of the room,$1000 a night why??? they sent email one day before saying that they will not clean the room of course after your cancellation period is over and the deposit is nonrefundable. covid is person to person not clothing to person as per the CDC ..... No breakfast reservation space, and bad food ( but you go down and the space is empty not even the 21 people you said is allowed) concierge doesn't even know at what time ski school opens or closes... young kids with out any basic information.

Amy C.

Yelp
What a beautiful resort! The valet team was very polite and greeted us with a warm welcome. They brought our bags up promptly and were very courteous. The shuttle service was much appreciated too! Thanks guys! The room was clean and felt very homie with beautiful snowy mountain views. The food and service was great! 5 stars all the way!

Rob K.

Yelp
Our family of 6 booked a last-minute five day trip in a three bedroom here. Property is very nice, well maintained and overall decent service. The tavern restaurant is excellent for breakfast and the location is unbeatable. Steps from shops and dining, everything is there, a great liquor store, general store and souvenir shops just a few steps away. We arrived around 1pm, and the front desk girl said the maids were cleaning our room and she would call when the room was ready - the usual check in time is 4 PM. She gave us a key to the pool and we went for lunch at the little diner, see separate 5 star review. After shopping and eating we checked back with the front desk and the room was still not ready. No problem, we walked around, more shopping, and returned around 3 PM. Still the room was not ready, so we went to the pool and the kids swam until 4 PM. Front desk girl never called us, instead we had to go down and ask for our room keys. She said the maids were just finishing up - 4 hours later! Throughout our stay we experienced additional curt/rude service from the front desk. Front desk needs customer service training - 2/5 stars. Our interaction with the concierge and valet were all outstanding - 5/5 stars. House car service was special, rides between villages with friendly drivers, we never waited more than a few minutes.

Carlos I.

Yelp
The Arrabelle is a beautiful property-it's a Bavarian dream. The hotel is large which makes for a busy valet and downstairs area. The rooms need modernizing-the carpets are tired and the bathroom vanity feels old. Same for the shower floor. The heated floors didn't work evenly. One spot was hot while most of the bathroom floors were freezing. The balcony tile floors are also freezing. Everything else was proper and as expected for a landmark like the Arrabelle.

Kristina K.

Yelp
This hotel is in the beautiful Vail village. It's like a storybook setting. I absolutely love the cobblestone roads, fresh mountain air, and the cozy hotel. My favorite parts are the rooftop pool, the gym & spa! Oh and the path that leads to one of the greatest hikes ever! If you're wiped out after hiking up, you can take the gondola down the mountain. They serve a delicious breakfast here too. The only issue I had was with them billing my incorrectly and had trouble correcting the problem.

Chad H.

Yelp
Amazing place to take your family, plush rooms and amazing service! Make sure you hit the SPA, its perfect after a ling day on the slopes. The ski valet team is great as well....

Terri M.

Yelp
Exceptional hotel. We arrived very late but stayed for 2 nights. Booked while traveling across the country, received a Junior Suite. Was heavenly for a weary traveller. The bathroom was great including a heated floor. Look for Restaurant week in the fall. Would definitely return

Nicole Y.

Yelp
I love the Arrabelle. I think it is probably one of the best situationally located hotels in the Vail valley, and its absolutely beautiful with excellent service. The restaurant is great, the rooms are beautiful, and in comparison with the room service at other equally rated hotels it is one of the best. Also, the views from almost any suite is incredible.

Courtney K.

Yelp
Everyone was extremely accommodating to any request that we had. The breakfast served each morning was absolutely delicious. I love how they keep serving it until 11 as well, which allowed our schedule to be flexible. The tub in the bathroom was a huge plus and I used it every day. The Lather brand that they have for the soaps and shampoos smells amazing and I am about to purchase some for myself. The king bed was super comfortable, but I do wish that the pillows would have been better. The room came with robes and slippers, which is always a win for me. Being right by the vandals that takes you up the mountain is so convenient and is absolutely worth staying here for that. The view up at the top is insane. Overall I would recommend this place to anyone!

Yelp
I am updating this review in light of a conversation I had with the property manager this morning. After receiving the original 1 star review, my file was pulled and the GM was apprised of the situation that was being handled by their 3rd party reservation service. In short, the GM apologized for the process we underwent and the customer service which fell below that of the excellent service we experienced with representatives at the actual Arabelle property. He offered to refund our money in its entirety, which was a much appreciated gesture and one we did not expect but greatly appreciate given our current situation. To be clear, the 3rd party, Vail Resorts Management Company, is the first, second and third contact we had and all were unsympathetic and uninterested in listening to our extreme predicament. The GM today was the first to express regret for our situation and was willing to work something out acknowledging that sometimes policies don't always fit the situation, and building relationships and customer loyalty is more valuable than immediate financial gratification. For its actions, the Arabelle will get exactly that from us. I gave it 4 stars and not 5 just because the 3rd party arrangement is not satisfactory because that organization demonstrated on multiple occasions they cannot live up to the Arabelle's high expectations regarding customer service. Original Text for context only. We booked the Arabelle Resort several months prior to our February 19th, 2021, departure. On February 15th, we experienced an unprecedented winter storm (declared a federal and state disaster area) lasting for days that completely knocked out the entire state's energy grid, leaving us with no power for days in subzero temperatures. As a result, our pipes in our home burst on February 17th. At this point, we could no longer attempt to make the trip as our house is no longer habitable. Reluctantly, we canceled our reservations and were issued refunds by all parties except this corporation which refused to offer any recompense for any portion of the 8 day stay we booked due to their cancellation policy, which we missed by a matter of days. We spoke to management on 3 different occasions and were not offered even an attempt at empathy for our situation much less any willingness to help with any portion of the $6,000 cost for the 8 day stay. This organization is supposed to be in the hospitality business but clearly lacks any feeling for its patrons. We would have happily scheduled a stay next year assuming we could save the funds again in acknowledgement of their understanding and as a show of loyalty, but this experience is so despicable, that I will NEVER give my business to these greedy people again, and I hope you don't either. This is the type of behavior that only changes if its consumers demand it change.

Yelp
Got stuck driving home in a snow storm and ended up staying here for a night with my puppy! The service was amazing! I had to wait a little bit while my room was getting ready and wanted to change into warmer clothes (I wasn't prepared for the snow!) The guys working valet offered to watch my dog while I went to the spa to change really quickly! Our room was beautiful and the hotel so very dog friendly! I am for sure coming back here for a longer stay!!

Yelp
I stayed at the Arrabelle for my 40th birthday. They are a newer hotel and easier to please... and pleased me they did! Here is why... AMENITIES (PREMIUM ROOM): -Fireplace in our room - yes -Veranda overlooking the mountain - yes -Zach sent up complimentary Veuve Rosé and a decadent pastry plate complete with macarons- yes (my friend Jane called the hotel from Singapore to prompt this gift, but the hotel provided it... classy. -TV in the gigantic bathrooms -Water pressure galore -Heated bathroom floors -Full bottles with pump of quality toiletries, no squandering and desperate squeezing for a teaspoon of shampoo here! -Canopy beds that are more comfortable than a Westin (which we stayed at at DIA with a fresh comparison -Complimentary snacks and waters - cereal crispy treats, savory mix, trail bars, chocolate on the pillow -Starbucks in the room, Starbucks in the Lobby AM, Starbucks across the way, Starbucks everywhere -Oh so cozy robes AND slippers -Humidifier in the room - thank you!!! Love, my skin -yoga mate and muscle roller thing -$100 voucher to spa, cheapest service around $165. I didn't have time to use them facility, I was in the wrangler in the mountains RESTAURANT - TAVERN ON THE..SOMETHING: -DELICIOUS and profound complimentary breakfast buffet, and you can sit overlooking the mountain. still dreaming about it. Fresh waffles and omelette and anything else you could hope fire with a daily chef special. Even smoked salmon! -Venison and Elk Sausage with Gnocchi was divine -Only place open for a late dinner in Lionsgate Village -Waiters know their wine pairing -CONS - middle aged smooth live music at night bleh, skip the fried zucchini, cute are too big HOTEL: -Jacuzzis and pool in the roof before the mountain, daily I went for laps and nightly We went for jacuzzi before turning in under the moon/ stars and the charming Swiss alp architecture -Gorgeous decor -Most is the drivers and hot pricing complimentary schleps to Vail Village. Very friendly. LIONSGATE VILLAGE: It's the neighboring village to the main Vail Village. I like Lionsgate much more because: -better architecture -less clip joints and pushy salesmen -while there are less restaurants and shops, Vail Village seems over stuffed and even crowded with wealthy and wanna be wealthy tourists and it's killing the vibe of nature. If you are goi g to Vail for a sweet hotel and to spend the day in the Rockies and nature and GOD, Lionsgate is better. If you're just there to sit and shop... maybe Vail Village is for you SPORT: -a stones throw away from Berry Pick Trail, one of their hardest and most beautiful trails. Gondola ride down is free, free filtered water at the top -equally close gondola entrance, bike rental etc ACTIVITIES: -I fall short here because I left vail for explore. But I climbed the mountain by the hotel on Berry Picker Trail and is was both free and spectacular -I wish I had time for a zip line and mountain bike ride. Only there 4 days STAFF: -Best hospitality and help and knowledge and honestly and kindness I have EVER experienced IN MY LIFE.... and I grew up on tour with my family living in hotels and I travel incessantly. Can't say enough how special and authentic the staff are I love you Arrabelle! I will definitely stay here again.

Yelp
My husband and I came here for our honeymoon during the off season in May. Every detail made us feel pampered, relaxed, and extremely happy. Our room was incredible and the view of the mountain you couldn't possibly beat. We had a gas fireplace, bottle of wine and were set our first night. The next morning we booked an appointment for a couples massage. Their spa is absolutely amazing and a must if you stay here. We kept our car in their parking garage the entire stay because their shuttle drivers will drive you anywhere you want to go and will pick you up. Also, I believe this is the only resort that has a gondola right outside it's doors. The staff here is one of a kind. Every employee we encountered from the ones at the front desk to our shuttle drivers were friendly, professional and eager to help in any way they could. We seriously forgot we were even in Colorado and it felt more like Europe! Thank you so much for helping us have a romantic and amazing honeymoon. I recommend this to anyone who appreciates excellent service and luxury.

Yelp
I had stayed at the Arabelle many times over the years, but never used booking.com to reserve a room. We had always had nice rooms with a balcony, so it never occurred to me that there was anything different for $500 per night in the off season. The room they gave us was just a box with a view of the building next door. In the room there were two incredibly uncomfortable wooden chairs, so really the only place to sit was on the bed. Really depressing ambiance for a hotel in the mountains. If you book this place (particularly with a booking site). call in advance so they don't put you in the worst room they can find, if they have customers that booked directly. Also, the blinds, were broken, the drapes had come off their hooks, and the bed skirt was ripped. Obviously, the room was the last one they had, so despite it's condition, they had to put someone in there. Really disappointing. I asked to be moved, but they refused.

Yelp
I love love it here when in vail. The hotel is beautiful. It's right in that square so you're steps from everything! Skiing, ice cream! Those hotel had some of the best food I've had when on ski trips. We had a car when staying here and I remember the valet guys were the best. I love vail as much as I do because of this property

Yelp
This place gets the full 5 star rating even though staying there is kinda like staying in the Disneyland Castle. So we all know we don't live in 17th century France. But don't tell anyone at the Arrabelle that. The place fits in perfectly in the WooWoo land setting of Lionshead Gondola-ville in Vail. The rooms are fit for Louie XIV. Fireplaces that you can turn on for variable amounts of set times; all glass shower stalls; soaking tubs with extension wands and built-in arm rests; heated marble bathroom floors; first grade bathroom amenities; luscious overstuffed beds with high- count sheets and one of those Sun King-like headboards with recessed reading lights; a private patio overlooking the mountain; and the list goes on and on and on. Bottom line, got the whole shootin' match for $129 a night over the Labor Day weekend from Travelocity (but add to that a $30 per day "resort fee" that included valet parking and super concierge services), and you've got a helluva chi-chi mountain deal. For us simpler folks, Vail's a once-a-year, at most, kinda experience, but if you're gonna blow some $$$ on having a memorable time, staying at the Arrabelle is about the most reasonable way to do it.

Yelp
One of the best banquet set ups ever. Great food at the tavern and what a great location. Very nice place and people. Thanks again to the banquet staff and the chef, y'all are great!!

Yelp
The "Pelican Hill" of Vail, where everything is just simply done right. Ski in and ski out, really. Dante, their new assistant manager, has an amazing energy and was very accommodating throughout our stay. Concierge Maryanne did the heavy lifting by helping us plan our stay. The Arrabelle is an absolute first-class resort.

Yelp
Service is amazing -- front desk, valet, spa, all worked out beyond our expectations. I think I saw the valet a total of one times before he knew my name and was able to retrieve my car without asking for the ticket. The Tavern on the Square is nothing special and in fact does not seem to fit into the general experience of the Arrabelle but I would not ding the rating on this one as being in Vail itself gives you so many other options. The other great thing about staying here (through Exclusive Resorts) was access to the courtesy car. If you wanted to get to Vail square it was an easy and quick way of getting there if you wanted to forgo the 20 minute walk -- they also provide return service with just a dial for pickup when you are ready.

Yelp
This was our first introduction to Vail. We had such a great experience here. The hotel is beautiful and the location could not be better. Vail sports for equipment rental was literally next door along with the ski school for children. We also appreciated the ski valet which is literally across from the gondola. There was never a wait and they were always very organized. After the first day, they knew us by name. The ski valet even returned our rental equipment for us at the end of our stay. Our room was very comfortable and we never heard the other guests. Room service was prompt and accurate. The breakfast buffet was also amazing. They had a great selection and everything was delicious. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
By far the most enjoyable stay at a hotel to date. From the valet staff to the staff at the front desk everyone was extremely courteous and pleasant. We booked our stay and were immediately blown away by our room (especially since we brought our dog with us). Our room had a gas fireplace that we were able to utilize with a bottle of wine prior to heading out for our dinner reservations. Despite having a dinner reservation, we were tempted to cancel and enjoy the space and luxury of our room. The hotel is centrally located right in Vail Square with easy access to hiking trails and walking distance to Vail Center for more dining options. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
Absolutely amazing! Beautiful and one of the best wine tastings I have attended! This was my first event at Arrabelle and it was so much fun. There were tapas from many of the local restaurants in Vail. 100 wines to taste. I would love to attend this event next year! The event was the Debut of Rosé 2017! Nice job hosting!!

Yelp
First time here. Oh my goodness, this hotel is beautiful. Gorgeous grounds, the staff was incredible. Truly incredible. They take care of everything you could possibly think of and are completely and utterly polite while doing so... It was a bachelorette party, so we definitely took advantage of the 24 hour car service which is such a plus! I spent a good three hours in the spa, which was beautiful and relaxing and perfect and on and on and on. I would love the opportunity to go back here, especially in the off season when the rates are phenomenal.

Yelp
Gorgeous! Great location, amenities and amazing service. Will be returning as often as possible. I even forgot a makeup bag and they mailed it to me the next day!

Yelp
Beware of traveling with pets!! So I booked my room on Hotwire and it said the hotel was pet friendly and listed the fees. So I called well in advance of my stay to make sure i was going to be in a dog friendly room. When I called the hotel I could only speak to the national rock resort reservation people not the actual front desk (very annoying). Anyways the lady went on and on about how I should of booked the room through them directly and she wouldn't be able to guarantee a pet room. So me coming for 3 hours away wouldn't have a guaranteed pet room when I arrive. Fun times now that I have a nonrefundable room with hotwire. The worst part is that the lady made it my problem not something that we needed to find a solution to.

Yelp
Oh where do I start? We brought our family of six for a week long ski vacation here, including our three adult children and a significant other, so we had four rooms. What an expensive disappointment this turned out to be! First, housekeeping was a disaster. We were gone skiing from about 10 to 2 every day and we never came back to a clean room. Our room didn't get cleaned at all two days in a row and when it did, it was with us back in the room dodging the cleaners. We asked repeatedly that it be done during our absence and were told it would be, but it never was. Second, we rely heavily on room service when we travel, especially for breakfast but sometimes for other meals as well. OMG how terrible! Not ONE order was correct! Every single time we had to call back and have something re-done and re-delivered. On two occasions our breakfast orders were delivered 20-30 minutes early, waking us up. Once they called and woke us up to tell us they were out of something we ordered. And to top it off - the food was mediocre at best and, of course, very expensive. Third. The noise level in the room was ridiculous because of the apparently paper thin adjoining doors. We unfortunately had very rude neighbors and there was a lot of yelling, screaming and swearing going on. We could hear literally every ugly word. So, not even close to the five-star vacation we had paid for and expected. Needless to say, none of us will ever return. PS. I must add that the response and follow-up to this review by Mr. Meyers, Manager of the hotel, has been prompt, caring and diligent. I added two of the stars solely for his efforts!

Yelp
This place is at the base of Vail Mountain in Lions Head Village. Top notch amenities and service. Our room was 500 square feet. Sick bathroom! Fireplace and couple chairs to sit and read on. A desk in the room (as though I worked while in vail). The bed was extremely comfortable and had bedding that one would expect from such a high end joint. Upon arrival the concierge, Pamela, was spot on with her recommendations for where to eat and drink...Danielle and Chelsea at the front desk were also quite friendly and helpful. But before anything we headed directly to the spa after several hours of uphill mtn bike climbing... No services for us, just some Jacuzzi/steam room/shower use before heading out to grab a bite (Kelly Liken). Apparently she went pretty far on Top Chef. (Someone told me...we don't have TV in our house). I'd come back to this place in two shakes of a lambs tail....it aint cheap is the only down side....but I recommend calling ahead and checking on availability...I was told the room rates really fluctuate and can be had for a steal if you are flexible. By the way, I was flexible and got this for a steal :-)

Yelp
This review is based on being a photographer there..we were up there photographing a wedding this past weekend and the staff seems amazing! The hotel itself is beautiful and nestled right in Vail Square with plenty to check out Summer or Winter..but the staff was so helpful and pleasant and attended to our every needs as photographers...I can't imagine how great the service will be when we return as guests sometime (which we have to do now!) Can't wait to return as a guest!

Yelp
A very charming hotel! Very little to complain about (then again, for the price of the stay, there should be very little to complain about, haha). I would return. Stayed a few nights in August. The room was lovely!.. quaintly equipped with: balcony, fire place, comfortable bed, large wardrobe closet, generous lighting options, spacious bathroom. I could have spent my entire holiday in the gorgeous bath alone! And the unique bath soaps imported up from their spa were a nice touch. The lobby area is welcoming and grand.. inviting decor is found throughout the hotel. The pool up top is a bit small and disappointing, but not so much that it would keep me from returning. It was a very relaxing and luxurious stay. Oh, but one thing I would like to point out.. during checkout, for someone who actually thoroughly glances over their final bill, I found it quite cheeky of the Arrabelle to automatically add in "donations" for each night stayed (to some forest service something or other). Okay, maybe not that big a deal, I let it slide. But I couldn't help but find it a bit presumptuous and sneaky.. asking the customer's permission first would be the polite and classy thing to do.
