Lovely small hotel in a quiet street between the sea and centre. Good sized, comfortable room and lovely bathroom. Breakfast excellent and service and communication from proprietress, Linda was outstanding. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or stay again if visiting Ayr.

Breakfast was undercooked bread had a bit of mould on it. After reading good reviews I booked but never again. I know the lady goes in your room when your not in. Place is a bit outdated

Close to the beach, town and easily accessible by road with plenty on on-street parking. We came down from an Irish flight landing in Glasgow (GLA). Very comfortable and clean, competitive rates and they even threw in some good weather too at no extra cost. 😀 I'd highly recommend a stay here, I'll be back with the rest of the family. We felt at home here and Linda, the owner is one in a million. We actually still have one more night left and I'm here happily reviewing already, good sign. Looking forward to a hearty breakfast then on for some lunch in Rozelle and Bellisle with a long drive planned later. Family friendly and a gem of a hotel.

Had a fantastic stay, I stayed here for a party at the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum. We stayed 1 night, It was absolutely incredible. Our room was clean, the beds were comfy and the bathroom was extra spacious. We had a nice sleep. In the morning, we got the breakfast which was AMAZING. We had Link Sausages, Black Pudding, Fried Eggs, Mushrooms, Potato Scone, Tomatoes, Bacon and Toast. I recommend you stay here if your visiting the South Ayrshire Area.

I had a pleasant stay on business. Room was clean and comfortable. The owner was very friendly and helpful. There is a good sized lounge with a small bar. Good breakfast. No evening meals but there are several good places to eat within a short walk of 5-10 minutes. Overall a welcoming atmosphere at the hotel and good value.

This is a well located small hotel just back from the sea front and quietly situated. There is plenty of parking right outside and a fairly open outlook from the front. Our twin room was okay, although the mattresses on the beds were pretty worn and unsupportive. The bathroom was quite pleasant although the shower could have been better. The breakfast was really nicely cooked and all the staff very friendly.

This year was me and my wife's second year staying here for the pavillion festival|What can I say|Linda is an absolute superstar |The hostest with the mostest|The arrandsle is now a part of our weekend every year and will always be|Location wise it is perfect for not only our festival but also Ayr centre|You have parking opposite and it is so quiet for being so close to everything going on|We had friends staying this year also and they were if the same opinion as ourselves |

Very good value! Wonderful small hotel with extremely comfortable bed, good shower, lots of tea and coffee, big breakfast and charming hostess. Excellent location and huge and comfortable lounge. Everything you could want and the price was amazing.

Yelp
The correct name is The Arrandale Hotel. Very lovely hotel near the Ayr waterfront. Very nice decor, friendly staff, cozy rooms, and a comfortable lounge. We liked it well enough that we stayed a second night. We paid GBP 70/night for two people without breakfast -- higher than the "and up" rates shown on their website, but felt we definitely got our money's worth. Street parking is free on the weekends, metered on workdays.
