Booked the Arrandale hotel 24 hours prior to arrival. On arrival we were pleasantly surprised at how close the hotel was to the pubs, restaurants and seafront. Brilliant location. Linda the owner was extremely courteous and made us feel very welcome. Good sized room which was immaculate. Great value for money . Highly recommend. .

The only thing good about this hotel was the area as it was close to everything other than that the owner was very rude and unpleasant I cant get my head around the positive reviews as the room was very dirty dead flies and spiders everywhere the dust was thick on the tables there was public hairs in the bed towels in bathroom were dirty and the owner was hanging around outside the door constantly made me feel very uncomfortable when I asked her for WiFi password she was very rude and looked at me asif I was stupid she kept hanging around outside the door which was a room just outside restaurant area... everything was very dated and u cut my stsy short and was refused my money back her attitude was stinking I definitely won't be back i have reason to believe she was also in the bedroom when i popped out for dinner

Lovely small hotel in a quiet street between the sea and centre. Good sized, comfortable room and lovely bathroom. Breakfast excellent and service and communication from proprietress, Linda was outstanding. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or stay again if visiting Ayr.

I had a pleasant stay on business. Room was clean and comfortable. The owner was very friendly and helpful. There is a good sized lounge with a small bar. Good breakfast. No evening meals but there are several good places to eat within a short walk of 5-10 minutes. Overall a welcoming atmosphere at the hotel and good value.

Breakfast was undercooked bread had a bit of mould on it. After reading good reviews I booked but never again. I know the lady goes in your room when your not in. Place is a bit outdated

Close to the beach, town and easily accessible by road with plenty on on-street parking. We came down from an Irish flight landing in Glasgow (GLA). Very comfortable and clean, competitive rates and they even threw in some good weather too at no extra cost. 😀 I'd highly recommend a stay here, I'll be back with the rest of the family. We felt at home here and Linda, the owner is one in a million. We actually still have one more night left and I'm here happily reviewing already, good sign. Looking forward to a hearty breakfast then on for some lunch in Rozelle and Bellisle with a long drive planned later. Family friendly and a gem of a hotel.

This is a well located small hotel just back from the sea front and quietly situated. There is plenty of parking right outside and a fairly open outlook from the front. Our twin room was okay, although the mattresses on the beds were pretty worn and unsupportive. The bathroom was quite pleasant although the shower could have been better. The breakfast was really nicely cooked and all the staff very friendly.

Yelp
The correct name is The Arrandale Hotel. Very lovely hotel near the Ayr waterfront. Very nice decor, friendly staff, cozy rooms, and a comfortable lounge. We liked it well enough that we stayed a second night. We paid GBP 70/night for two people without breakfast -- higher than the "and up" rates shown on their website, but felt we definitely got our money's worth. Street parking is free on the weekends, metered on workdays.
