Prices certainly not commensurate with food quality. My wife has mushroom allergy and nowhere in the menu did it say that the burgers had mushroom as an ingredient. Fortunately we asked and it turned out that there was mushroom in the burger. We ended up ordering the Artisan breakfast which was quite greasy and the Garden breakfast in which the salad was partially stale. The seasonal drink we had with beetroot and herbs too was disappointing. The servers were friendly and efficient but overall an underwhelming experience.

We had a lovely time here for brunch and the food was delicious! Yes they are high prices, but you get high quality food and decent portions. Our waitress was very kind and attentive and the cafe itself is very nice. Would love to visit again.

We went to the Artisan for a team dinner. The 3 course meal was delicious. The crispy potato and cream starters were super yum. The Spätzli was also perfectly cooked. The selection of wine was great too. Really nice experience. Very kind and attentive staff. Excellent experience!

The value does not really match the prices charged. Nothing special, maybe not even average. (100 CHF for Breakfast for 2 people with coffee). I can recommend their coffee, just go for it and then you may have nice time there. Cannot recommend their brunch menu though, sorry. Service is very friendly. Thanks.

As a gourmet chef myself, I greatly appreciate the exquisite taste and presentation of the Artisan’s dishes, such as the garden breakfast. However, I was disappointed by a few aspects of the experience. The flat white was served after a 10-minute wait and was no longer hot enough. Additionally, charging CHF 5 per person for still water—even with free refills—feels excessive, especially since many top-tier restaurants provide it free of charge. As a compromise, you could charge 5.- per table instead of person. While I wouldn’t normally raise such concerns, the extremely high price point in Zurich sets expectations for impeccable service across all aspects. I had the impression that this location is understaffed.

Very Pleasant Stay at The Artisan Istanbul The hotel has an excellent location – central yet quiet, ensuring a relaxing stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. A small area for improvement would be the gym, which is a bit outdated and could use some refreshing. Otherwise, it’s a charming hotel with great service. I would definitely recommend it!

We were there for a brunch on a Sunday. Everything was Ok service and atmosphere! The food was just OK. Nothing spectacular and sizes quite small. Also prices quite expensive for what they offer! They have a nice garden to sit outside and chill too.

This was an experience! The food was simply freaking delicious, great variety of drinks. Awesome snacks to choose from and the freshness of their selection was scrumptious. Service: the waitresses were so nice, all smiles and friendly and you notice this positive vibe all around the restaurant. (Even when we over stayed on our table after closing hours without noticing). Couldn't have picked a better place for a big party. We had a party of 14 people, booked ahead of time and would definitely go back there. Overall highly recommended.

Yelp
I had an excellent dinner at The Artisan. First, I would like to mention that the service was amazing. Despite there only being two servers running the dinning room and the bar the entire evening, there was so much attention to detail. They even moved our table to a quieter location away from a large group of 12. Both had knowledge of beer pairings for the dishes offered, and maintained a positive attitude all evening. Second -- the interior is a calming blue green with lots of green vining plants hanging everywhere. Its simple, yet a brilliant way to turn their modern space into a cozy garden theme. The food we had at the Artisan was excellent. I would have never considered pairing pickled asparagus with a truffle creme, but it works so well. The beer candied bacon was delicious, and the cuts of bacon used have the right thickness to have a substantial bite to them, balancing the texture with sweet, salty, and savory. For mains, we had a stuffed cabbage and ricotta dumplings. Both were solidly vegetarian, but had the right amount of caramelization for flavor. While substantial, they were not heavy -- leveraging hits of acid and salt to offset savory and creamy touches. Their location is one stop away from Zürich HB, and I did not find it hard to get to at all. If I am ever back in Zürich, I would go back to try some of the other items on the Artisan menu.

Yelp
I hate to admit it but I consider Wipkingen off the beaten path although I am probably exaggerating since it is still part of Zurich. What I think I am trying to say is that it The Artisan is not very central in Zurich. My friends and I came because one of my friends was given a gift voucher for The Artisan so we decided to try out their brunch. Since it was a summer day we opted to sit outside, their outside seating seemed quite popular and most tables had a reservation (like we did). It took them over 30 mins to get our drinks, since it was juices and tapwater (which costs 4 CHF per person!), so nothing too complicated I thought the service was rather slow. Furthermore I was disappointed to see that their brunch menu didn't offer any more brunch specific tipples like a mimosa or a bloody mary. After quite a wait our food came, it looked quite pretty: I opted for the spelt buckwheat pancakes which is actually just their version of eggs royale. It tasted not bad but I wasn't wow-ed either: the salmon was of mediocre quality and I thought the whole dish was under-seasoned. My friends sourdough toast was a bit in the same trend: it looked amazing but overall it tasted just average, just a tiny bit of goat cheese with a lot of leaves. Also, I typically expect sourdough to be white bread, not dark but hey, dark bread is also yummy. Not bad for a brunch option if you live in that neighborhood but if you have to come from another Kreis I wouldn't go all the way for it.

Yelp
Very nice ambience (pants hanging from the wall). Very friendly and welcoming customer service. I booked a table for two (more than a week before our visit), so make sure to make a reservation on a weekend, all the tables were booked!! I ordered the veggie (with vegan whole grain patty) burger / salad on the side. The burger was so addictive and mouthwatering. The only thing which could be better: I think the BBQ sauce (as described on the menu) was missing and it could have used a little more of the avocado mayo (to be on the less dry side). Ah and since the menu said burger with avocado I thought it would come with sliced avocado (meant was the mayo though). but I should have realized earlier.. The salad was delicious too (not only greens, tomatoes & cucumbers too). My husband got himself the dry aged beef burger with fries and liked it aswell. The only thing he said: it's a little hard to keep the burger on the wooden plate and you should take off the burger "lid". The plates were still warm when arriving at the table; which I really appreciate!! The wine was very nice too. I could probably eat here every day, but since the burgers were between chf and chf 29.- it's just not possible. we skipped the dessert, since we were full and didn't want to spend chf 14.- - I'd rather go for a starter next time. Amazing and super fresh food!!

Yelp
Inspired by a food blogger we went to check out The Artisan. They only offered burgers and salads for Saturday lunch, but that was fine for us. We ordered the pork belly burger with kimchi and a vegan power quinoa-lentle burger that were served on a small cutting board with a huge knife. The small cutting board made it a little difficult to keep the burger on the board, but that's complaining on a high level. The burgers itself were of fantastic quality and the service very friendly! Tip: For a quick burger visit Saturday afternoon. The evening menu looks very interesting and you definately need a reservation!

Yelp
Went there with my office mates for a dinner on a Friday evening. The place was a little bit hard to find as google maps was misleading us, lol, but the spot itself if really nice, quiet, relaxing and spacious. We had a table outside and we didn't hear practically nothing from the street noise. Me I ordered the bacon as apetizer and the pork belly burger. Bacon = 4/5 stars, nice crisp and taste Burger = 3/5 stars, the pork belly's taste and look reminded me more of a crispy duck. The kimchi in the burger made it for me more like an asian burger. It was fine but I would have done the burger differently. My office mates all liked the Classic Beef Burger. Prices were very fair for Zurich! Will go back again for the classic burger :)

Yelp
A text book study on how to get gastronomy right, despite its shitty location. Small place, but does the best for so many niche markets on a small menu: from gluten free vegan to meat lovers, vin naturel (amazing wine list) to craft beer (local to Japanese rice beer), down to locally sourced organic stuff, this place does the best of the best for all. Had the best burge in zurich, suckling pig on Brioche with kimchi, that just melted away with a gorgeous crust, perfect beer bacon strips as starters, amazing craft beer and rare rare outstanding vin naturel. Highly recommend

Yelp
Since arriving in Zürich we have been to The Artisan twice. We love the atmosphere of the place it is so unique with all the hanging plants. The food is delicious. We've had several starters to share, all where amazing and so were the mains. The candied bacon is to die for. The staff was also very friendly. We'll be back!!!

Yelp
Friendly staff and very interesting, fresh food for fair prices. Great option for Sunday evenings when most places are closed
