The Artist Athens was a delightful surprise. From the outside, you might not guess what a gem it is inside. The interior is modern, stylish, and full of character. The service was outstanding—Nikki in particular went above and beyond to make our stay extra special.
Our room was good, comfortable, with excellent air conditioning and a powerful shower that washed away the fatigue of a long travel day. It felt safe and welcoming throughout.
Although it’s officially rated as a 3-star hotel, it surpasses many 4-star properties I’ve stayed in—especially in terms of service, comfort, and atmosphere.
One of the highlights is the rooftop: open to visitors, it features a fantastic restaurant and an astonishing view of the Parthenon. There’s controlled access to ensure guest privacy, which is a smart touch.
Breakfast was tailored, fresh, and satisfying—just what you need to start the day. The location is right in downtown Athens, within a 15-minute walk of major sights including the Parthenon.
Don’t miss the charm of the nearby backstreets, full of lively local restaurants and hidden gems. A truly memorable stay in the heart of the city.
