The location is supreme. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself is fine. The lobby is nice but the rooms seem to be held together with a prayer in parts. However, it was still comfortable and clean and for the price it was perfect.

decent bed and relatively quiet room, seems as though no renovations have been done over 3 decades, cracked tiles, parts of equipment missing, torn carpets, cables sticking out of the wall, cleanliness not up to standard. Staff friendly however no reply via mail about parking options, not been given an useful reply on the phone either, thus ended up overpaying for parking. No lift available at the time but no assistance provided with the luggage either, bar and breakfast ok for a 3* hotel. Location pretty central if thats what you need. Would not recommend overall.

Don’t stay here! Rooms are disgusting! Mold in the shower, cracked sink, loud, building constantly shakes from the traffic, elevator out of order, the offer of any help with luggage was non existent. Bad!

This Hotel in my view offers real value for money I'm terms of location, amenities etc.|Located on Hope St right in the middle of everything absolutely perfect.|Nice clean bed linen, towels etc.|Shower worked great and the TV and tea/coffee facilities were a nice touch.|2 great big windows looking out into hope street to give a nice view (room 101).|This is by no means the Ritz and a little rough round the edges but as I say I cannot fault it one bit especially for the price.|Well done Artto, we'll be back!|Ps..I actually thought the beds were a lot more comfortable than a lot of big name hotels out there!

The single rooms don't look anything like your pictures the doors miss the bed by inches easily the worst hotel I have ever stayed in the lift didn't work and hasn't worked for 5 weeks we should have been informed of this so we could have booked elsewhere which is what I suggest everyone reading this does||The toaster worked for breakfast and the girl in the morning was very helpful||Stayed in June 2025

Room was tidy enough, but the bathroom looks like it was fitted and maintained by a five year old, grimy shower, visible damage to bathroom mirror, tiled wall behind toilet, and bath/shower. Also threadbare carpets in the room and the corridor, and an elevator that sounds as if it's on its last legs. Breakfast was alright, bar/restaurant is nice enough, but I won't be coming back here if the management don't renovate the rooms to an acceptable standard

The location is great. It's right next to Glasgow Central and 5-10 minutes walk from anywhere in the center. I had hoped for an early arrival option, but i did have to wait until 3pm to check in. The room shook occasionally from either trains or vehicles going past. Not too bothersome though. Room was a little cramped (had to trun sideways to move between the desk and bed). Overall fair value for the price.

Needed a two night stay in Glasgow but didn't want to spend crazy money on the accomodation because it was only a place to sleep for 2 nights. Found this hotel and the place is great, staff are friendly and welcoming, lift is a bit small but functional, the room was clean and well proportioned. Bathroom was very clean and nice powerful shower. Not a chain hotel experience but it shouldn't have to be this was a perfect little hotel to sleep and recharge ready for the next day. It's an old building where the floors do slope in places and the building does rumble when a lorry or train goes by but it's comfortable and convenient for the station and city.
