This hotel is ideal for those seeking quick accommodation without any frills. The rooms are tired and the attention to detail is lacking. Staff appear well trained and the customer service is fine. But, be aware this is in my view a two star hotel at best. Dirty in places but would suit the needs of many looking for a place to lay after a night out. I won’t even get started on the noise levels at night and the early hours … just be warned!!

The hotel is very run down. The room was clean but in need of renovation. Pillows on bed so thin that we may as not bothered with pillows. The beds are very low and uncomfortable. Big rip in carpet, large gap under the door. Topped off with used chewing gum stuck to the base of one of the beds! Myself and one of our group had been bitten a couple of times, don't know what by. Couldn't close the windows properly. The curtains had stains on. Only stayed there as a friend had booked it. Wouldn't recommend it and definitely wouldn't stay again.

A well-located hotel ( right opposite the Central Station). The staff were really friendly and accommodating. Hope St is very lively and we asked to be moved to the back of the hotel for the second night of our visit- which they expedited with no problem. The room was clean and functional. Comfortable bed and good shower. The pool hall opposite the Hotel is great!!

Amazing location and price in general comfortable for 1/2 nights but a few rough edges to be ironed out If you are on a budget and looking for comfortable hotel in central Glasgow for a night or two this is your place. I stayed here for 1 night in July as I was in Glasgow for a football match with a late kick off In terms of the room you are getting what you pay for. The actual room was comfortable and I got a very nice nights sleep you also get all of the basic facilities you expect however, it all felt a bit tired and worn maybe I just got unlucky but the room felt very dated Where the hotel loses points for me is the bathroom. In general the bathroom was fitted to a very poor standard again I might have been unlucky but the tap felt like it was going to come off in my hand, the towels were rough and the fixtures were rusting. The worst part for me was the general lack of cleanliness in the bathroom, while the room was clean the bath and shower were grimy and had what looked to be either dirt or mould, I didn't use the shower and waited until I was back home in Edinburgh. Staff at both check-in and check out were very pleasant so 5 stars on that front. I would also like to suggest two areas of improvement to the hotel as well: Luggage storage: currently the hotel doesn't have any luggage storage which is a bit disappointing considering you are in Central Glasgow and while I only had a rucksack for someone with cases this could be an issue Offer a night porter/night desk: I arrived back from the football match quite late and the main doors were locked, the hotel is attached to an Indian restaurant and there doesn't seem to be any other entrance, it took me rattling the doors until a member of what I presumed to be the restaurant staff came to unlock them for me. Having a night porter on duty or a number to call or a dial code would really be helpful as you will have a lot of hen/stag dos as well as people wanting experience Glasgow night life staying. Overall this hotel is a decent option for central Glasgow. If the rough edges are cleared up this is easily a 4/5 star review based on cost and location alone

Such a filthy and dingy hotel. Threadbare carpet. Filth in the corners of the room. God knows what wiped on the net curtains. Skirting boards dirty. Mould on the shower curtain. Broken lift. Such terrible noise from an outside generator. However. Some good points. Well located and comfortable bed. Most definitely will not be staying here again.

While i was booking in a female staff member took my wife aside and started quizzing her, asking if she is safe, was she being sex trafficked, did she know me well !||My wife told her we have been married 2yrs but known each other 10yrs. BUT still this female staff member went on and on. ||My wife did not tell me that night as it would have ruined our stay.||IS this the way you treat all couples who stay in your hotel?||WE will never return !!

The location is supreme. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself is fine. The lobby is nice but the rooms seem to be held together with a prayer in parts. However, it was still comfortable and clean and for the price it was perfect.

decent bed and relatively quiet room, seems as though no renovations have been done over 3 decades, cracked tiles, parts of equipment missing, torn carpets, cables sticking out of the wall, cleanliness not up to standard. Staff friendly however no reply via mail about parking options, not been given an useful reply on the phone either, thus ended up overpaying for parking. No lift available at the time but no assistance provided with the luggage either, bar and breakfast ok for a 3* hotel. Location pretty central if thats what you need. Would not recommend overall.
