The Athenee Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Bangkok

I had a wonderful experience in the Royal Club Lounge at The Athenee Hotel in Bangkok, and I want to especially recognize Ink for his exceptional service. From the moment I arrived, he was warm, attentive, and incredibly professional. He anticipated needs before I even had to ask and handled every interaction with genuine grace. What stood out most was his calm confidence and attention to detail — whether remembering preferences, offering thoughtful recommendations, or ensuring the lounge atmosphere remained welcoming and refined. Service like this truly elevates the Royal Club experience from excellent to unforgettable. Ink represents the very best of Thai hospitality. Thank you for making my stay feel both seamless and personal.

First time in Bangkok and we chose The Athenee Hotel because we wanted somewhere quiet but still close to the BTS Skytrain, Phloen Chit station is just a short walk away, which was super convenient. The hospitality we received was truly top notch. From first entering the lobby to the reception, every staff member made us feel welcomed. We arrived from Don Mueang Airport around 8 a.m., got to the hotel by 9 a.m., and our room was already ready. They even prepared a surprise birthday decoration for my husband, with cake and a fruit platter, such a thoughtful touch! The room was elegant and comfortable, with a soft fluffy bed, big sofa bed and lovely Byredo (Le Chemin) amenities. They even offer complimentary shoe-shining service. Breakfast at The Rain Tree Café was excellent, with a wide selection (Thai, Indian, Korean, Chinese and more). They provide halal options for Muslim guests, although pork is also served in some dishes, so you still need to be mindful when choosing. The ambience was calm, and their reheated, flaky pain au chocolat and muesli oats were honestly heavenly. Overall, one of the best hotel stays we’ve ever had. Special thanks also to the staff member who helped us pack our souvenirs – he was amazing. We would definitely stay here again.

Retrurned to the beautiful Athenee Bangkok for the third times. I visit Bangkok very often and always tried some new hotels but I think Athenee stands out - great value, very friendly service, good facilities and very good location.||It is not as new or fancy as other new properties but it definitely has its charm and well blended Thai elements. The biggest plus for this hotel is of course the consistent service and its wonderful associates.||All the housekeepers did their job well. Both rooms I stayed were kept in excellent condition. Samai who cleaned my first room on the 8th floor was very detail minded. She even left a small card to the reindeer soft toy I was given at the airport. It brightened up my day. ||At the reception, both Thawanya and Heather did an excellent job with a smile. Nothing is too much trouble for them. So was the lady Onanong at the pool - she is attentive, and always remembers your needs. Jirwat and Ink at the concierge desk were also very approachable and treated me like a real friend. ||I also cannot praise enough the hard working, energetic and super friendly Duangdao at the breakfast. The brealfast spread int he Rain Tree cafe was already great quality and quantity, but it was made very special due to her extremely hard work to make fresh juice so startt my day, and always wears a big smile. It’s the team member like her that draws me back to Athenee trip after trip despite so many newer properties in Bangkok.

Had an incredible stay at The Athenee Hotel. The service was truly outstanding—friendly, attentive, and effortlessly professional. The staff made everything feel easy and welcoming from start to finish.||The food was excellent across the board, beautifully prepared and full of flavor. Overall, the hospitality here really stands out and makes the experience feel special.||I’d especially like to highlight Ms. Sang, who went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed at breakfast.||One tiny thing to note for travelers who like to watch certain streaming channels: you have to request for an Apple Box in order to do so. Or else you’ll only have the provided default channels from the tv.||A wonderful stay and a hotel I’d happily return to. Highly recommended.

I stayed at The Athenee Hotel and honestly fell a little in love with the place. It has this beautiful, almost old colonial vibe that instantly gave me St. Regis feelings — elegant without trying too hard. The lounge was one of my favorite spots. It’s so calm and stylish, and the service up there is just perfect. I ended up spending way more time in the lounge than planned because it was simply that nice. The whole hotel feels warm and classy, and my room was super comfortable with a great bed and lots of space. Staff were kind, welcoming, and really made the stay feel special. All in all, such a wonderful hotel. I’d stay here again anytime.

A refined and tranquil stay in central Bangkok. The pool is a standout — peaceful, beautifully maintained, with genuinely attentive staff. Service in the restaurants was excellent, and the lobby team was consistently welcoming. The location is ideal, close to luxury shopping and Lumphini Park. While the Executive Lounge is convenient, some interactions with lounge staff there felt less warm than elsewhere in the hotel. Checkout could also be improved, as a smooth and thoughtful departure is just as important as a warm arrival. A cozy bar separate from the lobby would be a welcome addition. Overall, a sophisticated hotel I would gladly return to.

The Athenee Bangkok is a very beautiful and polished hotel with well appointed rooms and a grand entrance. I believe this is one of the higher end 5* hotels in Bangkok - the price reflects this, and it is easy to see why. All of the staff I encountered were hospitable and welcoming. The hotel has amenities which include a lovely pool, spa, garden area and comprehensive gym (which had everything I needed for my usual workout, including multiple machines and free weights), all located on the 4th floor. The breakfast is easily one of the most comprehensive and high quality I have seen, comprising dishes across multiple Asian countries as well as Western style options. This includes hot stations for soups, French toast and eggs of your choice, delightful pastries as well as a fresh juicer / smoothie station where you can request your choice of beverage by pointing at the freshly cut fruit. Unfortunately I did not have a chance to eat at any of the restaurants for lunch or dinner but I did order room service twice, and found the food here to be generally good. My room had both a shower and a bath, my bed was very comfortable and I could not hear the traffic from my room on the 21st floor when trying to sleep. I will certainly keep this hotel on my list of places to return to in Bangkok for a nice, luxurious stay.

My partner and I stayed at the Athenee hotel this past December and were absolutely blown away with the level of service at this hotel. The staff was incredible and so was the breakfast buffet! We absolutely loved being able to get fresh juice every morning! The woman who worked behind the juice counter was so lovely and would make the most amazing juices! Would recommend this hotel!
