Friendly staff. Beautiful location backing onto park. Such a relaxing environment away from the touristic areas. Could have spent 2 more days relaxing by the Magnesium pool. Being greeted by the Australian water dragon on the deck each morning was nice. Our room was lovely. Super clean. We had a classic room. The balcony had ample space for 2 to sit and read or eat. Room had wardrobe, good sized bathroom, tv, ample plugs. Decor is cool beach- tropical-classic- I was getting White Lotus vibes- in a good way 😉They even left an Easter egg in our room on Easter- so sweet. Plus so many extras, like washer, dryer, clothes horse on request, free use of bikes etc. Highly recommend.

A really charming boutique hotel. Very stylish, clean and close to everything. I will definitely stay again sometime. The communal kitchen idea has been executed well, however I do feel that for the price. It would also be really nice to have a little Nespresso machine and mini bar in the room. And for me that would take it to the next level. But honestly no complaints here, I loved it. The beds were really comfortable and I had a relaxing stay. The staff are all very sweet and friendly and made me feel right at home straight away! And if I had a little longer, I would really love to take advantage of their surfboard and bikes provided, That’s such a nice touch.

This is a wonderful little hotel, full of thoughtful touches. Understated beach-vibe elegance runs through the whole place, from the rooms to the pool to the spacious common areas. There is a well-stocked kitchen and -- super useful for anyone on a long trip -- access to a washer and dryer. The bikes are a great help for getting around town, and everyone who works there was friendly and helpful. And when it was time to leave and my car wouldn't start, they had jumper cables attached to my battery within minutes. My visit was a joy from start to finish.

Our stay at The Atlantic was divine. This was the first time we have stayed and it blew us away. The room was spacious and light and the shared kitchen had everything we needed, and was consistently clean. It felt like a home away from home. Having everything provided for us such as the beach towels, bikes and surf boards made our trip easy. All of the staff were lovely, always greeting us with a smile, and managers were always around to check that we were happy and safe. The Atlantic is beautifully maintained and was the perfect spot to walk every where in Byron Bay. Thank you to all the staff for their hard work and service. We will definitely be back.... and for longer next time!

We had an amazing stay at the Atlantic Hotel! The room was spacious and beautifully located in a leafy area, and we loved having a balcony to relax on. The communal kitchen was a highlight for me, especially having space for our food in the fridge and the option for a midnight snack whenever we wanted. The pool area was stunning, and I can't forget to mention Spike, the cute resident lizard! We will definitely return!

The Atlantic was the perfect getaway in every way. The spaces are so well designed and connected - I never felt like I was confined to my room. I made use of the pool, multiple kitchens, various outdoor sitting areas and lounge rooms and had everything that I could have wished for. The staff were eager to help, so friendly and very hard working. Kitchens and rooms were always clean, candles were lit, supplies like beach towels, bikes etc were easily available and everything was walking distance (beach, shops, restaurants etc.) The decorating and the vibe was gorgeous and I couldn't have enjoyed myself more. Highly recommend!

The Atlantic is an oasis amongst the busy heart of Byron. Pared back, intentionally curated, coastal luxury from reception to private and shared spaces - with the pool backing onto lush tropical land giving a sense of space and respite. Easy wandering to shops, great eats and the beach - we loved our stay and would highly recommend.

The Atlantic is a little piece of heaven nestled amongst the trees in the heart of Byron. I grew up in the hinterland and return to various places in the Bay when I'm visiting family and nowhere gives me the same feeling of relaxation that I get here. Bikes, boards, binoculars and beach towels are loaned (not hired) and the ease of moving through the buildings, surrounded by lush tropical plants is sublime. It's a really short walk to everything you need. The owners have managed to capture the essence of the town and make you feel like you are staying in a friends really beautiful home. I have literally nothing to suggest that would improve my stay and I will return! ❤️🙏

Yelp
I really don't know how I haven't posted a review of this place. I thought I had. After leaving another place in the area that was gross and disgusting I walked into this hotel and was so pleasantly surprised. It took me days to even realize it's a backpackers hotel. The place is so clean and chic with great amenities, one would never know! The rooms are great here although wouldn't recommend getting a basic room especially for 2 as they are very small. I got an upgraded room and it was white all over with a massive bathroom and rain fall shower, the pressure was to die for . It even had a tiny balcony which I enjoyed for my morning coffees. They have a communal kitchen that is kept immaculately even has L'occitane soap to wash your dishes. Complete kitchen and grill to cook with a fridge for storage. There's laundry, and a small lap pool great for dips as Byron Bay is quite humid. There also is room service, which is why it I thought it was a regular hotel. Free coffee and tea and filtered water. What else can one ask for? Yes its a little more expensive than some of the other places in the area but it's worth it.

Yelp
Exceptionally well set out. Friendly service and a great experience. I stayed here for only one night, and admittedly the previous night I had been camping so perhaps the clean white sheets and modern setting biased me to feel more kindly and less critical. There are three houses on the property, and a number of rooms in each (eight in the one I stayed in). Each house is very modern with a kitchen, dining areas, BBQ, etc. Ideally you would come here with a family for a birthday or something like that, but even from my experience it was worth heading back to.
