The Atlantic Hotel

Had a lovely long-weekend break in July 2024. Everything was perfect. The BBQ Sunday lunch was amazing. It's expensive but worth every penny. We usually stay at St Brelade's Bay Hotel but it was full, so we tried The Atlantic - delighted we did.

We have stayed at The Atlantic Hotel a number of times before and were delighted with the experience so it was easy to choose where to stay for a week in October. The Atlantic ticks nearly all the boxes of a fine boutique hotel, it provides the most rounded experience of any other hotel I have stayed at around the World. Beautiful public rooms, real attention to detail and staff who seem to delight in providing great service in a friendly and professional way. Ocean Restaurant is exceptional fine dining and it also provides one of the best hotel breakfasts, where everything is cooked to order, no hot buffets here, thankfully. The rooms are very well equipped and comfortable and are maintained and serviced to a high standard, including evening turn down. This time we had a sea view room which provided great views over St Ouen's Bay and the wonderful sunsets. For me, the only negative is the lack of opening windows and/or air conditioning. You can leave the patio doors open but with strong winds this may not suit all. Simple solution is that we do not visit The Atlantic during the warmer months. A true gem of a hotel where you feel very comfortable and we'll looked after, but not stifled. A great experience that is not very easy to find these days.

The Atlantic hotel is great, the rooms have beautiful views, the staff are very friendly and the 2 pools are quite nice. The best part is of course the restaurant, (former Michelin star). The food is absolutely outstanding I love the soups, they are kind and do good food for the kids. INCREDIBLE

My parents booked a stay at the Atlantic Hotel in Jersey for their 50th wedding anniversary. It was their first time back in Jersey after 50 years, since they spent their honeymoon on the island back in 1974. They thought the hotel facilities were excellent, breakfast was exceptional and dinner service also very good. They said the staff were very kind and attentive. However, unfortunately, the hotel said that they would make their 50th celebration extra special. They committed to offering my parents a complementary cocktail upon arrival (Brenda), as well as half a bottle of champagne on their special day (Rui). Both of these were confirmed over email by hotel staff. However, neither of these materialised. It is very disappointing to say the least. They booked the Atlantic Hotel so they could have an extra special experience and all in all, would not recommend.

A lovely hotel with truly exceptional staff. Location is ideal for relaxing, nearest restaurants are 20 mins down the steps (a little longer back as steep!). Good breakfast offering, and great bar menu. Rooms are spacious and have everything you need. The only main downside is aircon, or the lack of it. Rooms were very warm in June, I can only imagine in July or Aug. We opened the doors when we could but obviously security means you can't leave open all times. The tap designs are also mad, often I had to help older customers turn off as they were impossible to use with wet hands! Get a sea view room, the sunsets are incredible. My husband and I are celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. It is very quiet. Great facilities. The staff are very friendly and will talk with you and have a laugh with you. The food is excellent. We have a room looking out to the sea. It is a very big bed and very comfortable. There is a tv, but not many channels, but you are here to enjoy yourself and get away from that. Jersey is a very friendly place and people will do anything to help you.

We thoroughly enjoyed a recent 2 night stay at The Atlantic Hotel which was wonderful in every respect but the highlight of our stay was the restaurant. We treated ourselves to the 7 course tasting menu which was truly amazing. The quality of the dishes; the presentation and the tastes were sublime. It is easy to see why the restaurant has the reputation it has.

Utterly blown away!! The Atlantic Hotel managed to surpass the Fours Seasons for service - a complete masterclass and so personal. The food was exceptional (even our fussy 3 year old ate more during the 3 days at this hotel than I've ever seen her eat before). The carp were a huge hit - such a relaxing and lovely touch. The fact the big four have names is wonderful (and another big hit with our little one) Beautiful location with stunning views across the Bay. Lovely gardens and pools Overall, can't wait to go back there. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
