The Atlantic Hotel

Lovely hotel and top class service, staff are exemplary. Seaview room spotless and amenities good. Good shower with molton brown products. Indoor pool small but okay for a dip, jacuzzi pool small and not much power to jets. Saunas are individual to changing rooms working fine. Food is good but high prices as are the drinks. Transport recommended due to location. Would stay again 👍

My wife and I can’t believe the negative reviews written for this fabulous hotel. ||On arrival we were greeted by Nathan who literally couldn’t do enough for us and was very passionate about the hotel. We had 2 delicious meals here during our stay in the bar restaurant though not the main restaurant. In the afternoon we were taken care of by Sherman who was extremely courteous and attentive and in the evening we were looked after by Jessie who we had a wonderful conversation with at the bar. All the staff at this immaculate hotel are extremely friendly and if we ever go back to the beautiful Island of jersey we most certainly will be staying at the Atlantic.

My husband and I have just returned from our first (but definitely not our last) stay in Jersey and at The Atlantic. We were fortunate with the weather, and the outstanding team at the hotel made it a truly perfect short break en route to France. From the moment we stepped through the entrance, we received a warm and genuine welcome.||A special mention must go to Nathan – quite simply the best concierge we’ve ever met. His warm personality and extensive knowledge of Jersey really enhanced our holiday experience. The restaurant staff were equally impressive, serving us with smiles, kindness, and attention throughout.||The breakfast was outstanding, freshly cooked and well presented with plenty of choice. There was a buffet of cereals, juices, fruit and croissants. A good menu for la carte, bar and al fresco food. Although quite expensive it was worth it as exceptional. The bar staff made the most amazing cocktails as well.||We also treated ourselves to a wonderful massage with the talented Dawn, who managed to ease away months of stress in one session. The reception team were exceptionally helpful, as were the housekeeping, bar, and restaurant staff—in fact, every single staff member we encountered was professional, friendly, and clearly happy in their role.||We can’t wait to return to the wonderful Atlantic in the near future. Would recommend hiring a car if you go as the hotel is quite away from anywhere but buses are regular.

This is our second visit to The Atlantic, the first time we brought 8 friends for our 40 th Wedding Anniversary four years ago. I would like to point out that all these people are experienced world travellers ( Cunard Queen’s Grill Suites) and the best hotels. They all thought that The Atlantic was exceptionally good, and a very high standard, so I would disregard any negative comments. ||||On our recent visit, the service, food and room standard was excellent. We opted for the tasting menu and accompanied wines. This was superb and is well worth partaking. ||||If anyone reading this review has stayed at The Cliff Bay, Madeira I would say the standard is comparable. We look forward to returning to The Atlantic.

Excellent location with great view to the ocean, but service needs to be improved. Myself & my wife checked at the hotel to room 108 on Sunday, 21st December around 4pm. We left our belongings in the hotel room and when left out for dinner outside of hotel premises but when we returned to Hotel room by 7.30pm we straight away noticed that someone has been inside the room ( minor things like curtains was closed, pillow was relocated, etc ) when I reported this to the concierge at check in desk he just said that apparently one of the housekeeper went into room to double check that everything is ok. That felt as privacy breach and we clearly didn’t requested for this. Then on the morning we went for pre - booked breakfast ( hot meal option buffet ) we told twice to the person in restaurant that we are staying in apartment 108 and had a pre - booked breakfast but at the end same person charged the bill for £60 plus service charge instead of £50 so I went back to concierge desk to double check and to resolve the issue with the payment. Overall hotel is great, but those two incidents I really couldn’t understand.

We had the most wonderful time at The Atlantic, it was everything we hoped for and more. Upon arrival we immediately felt at home and were welcomed warmly and checked in promptly although we were very early. The Reception Team were so helpful and stored our suitcases, which gave us the opportunity to explore the hotel and surrounding area, all of which are impressive. Equally our Ocean View Room was perfection with a stunning view of the garden, pool and the Atlantic ocean beyond. That evening the sunset was spectacular. Our beds were extremely comfortable and all the amenities in the room were very well thought out. Everything you need is to hand and replenished daily. The standard of housekeeping is exceptional, as is every member of the team who took care of our room on a daily basis. We took advantage of booking a massage and facial in the Luna Bell Tent which is situated in a quiet area of the grounds, looking over the ocean. It was such a pleasurable experience being able to hear the sound of the waves and bird song, and our therapist was so friendly and professional, we just "switched off" completely. We took avantage of room service that evening so we could continue to relax afterwards. We enjoyed the steak burger and ham and cheese omlette, both with fries/chunky chips which were delicious and delivered very promptly. We also used the indoor pool and sauna and were impressed with facilities and cleanliness. Every member of the hospitality team are caring, professional and friendly, always stopping to have a chat and check that we were enjoying ourselves. Nothing is too much trouble and there is an atmosphere of calm and peacefulness throughout this wonderful establishment. We loved it and are already planning a return visit - can't wait !!

In my opinion this is not a luxury hotel. It is an adequate standard hotel which in places looks tired and in need of upgrading. We paid a substantial supplement for a sea view 50% of which was obliterated by a large overgrown tree which needed about 6ft of pruning. The facilities in the room were poor. No coffee machine just a very minimal and limited supply of sachets and small cartons of milk and a kettle. Standard B&B fayre. 3 apples in a small bowl doesn't constitute a fruit bowl. Wi fi very poor. 8 on my Internet meter compared to my WiFi at home of 150. Chairs in the bedroom the sort you find next to a bed in an nhs ward. Conversation and tv noise clearly audible from next door despite being described as soundproof. ||We found nothing luxurious about this place. Having paid an eye-watering rate we came away feeling totally duped. The food we had was very ordinary and at a ludicrous price.||Jersey is a nice place but it is clear that all the pubs and restaurants and hotels are charging profiteering rates presumably to make up for the huge decrease in visitor numbers recently. I understand why that is.||Greed is not attractive anywhere in the world.
