The Avenue in Portomaso, St. Julian’s, is an absolute gem and a must-visit for anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience in Malta. From the moment you arrive, the warm and inviting ambiance sets the tone for what promises to be a memorable experience. I opted for the Beef Wellington, and I cannot recommend it enough. Perfectly cooked, the beef was tender and flavorful, complemented beautifully by the flaky, golden pastry. The dish was a culinary masterpiece, bursting with taste and presented with care. The portions were generous, and the quality of the ingredients was evident in every bite. The service was outstanding as well. The staff were attentive and friendly, making sure everything was to our satisfaction without being intrusive. Their knowledge of the menu and genuine passion for the food enhanced the experience further. The outdoor area deserves a special mention. It’s stylishly designed, offering a relaxed yet sophisticated setting that’s perfect for soaking in the charming Portomaso vibe. Whether you’re dining during the day or enjoying the beautifully lit surroundings in the evening, the atmosphere adds so much to the overall experience. I also shared some photos and videos of the outdoor area because it’s truly worth showcasing. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, The Avenue is a restaurant that should not be missed. A lovely restaurant with a warm ambience and excellent service. The staff is friendly. The food is well prepared and flavorful, with the highlight being the puff pastry salmon crispy on the outside, tender and delicious inside.

Came here for dinner with my parents. The ribs are always as good. Duck not overcooked as most restaurants in malta. The mashed potato was delicious. The salmon in puff pastry was god but still hungry after. Service was great, many waiters who take care of you. The new restaurant is very modern and lovely to look at but the sound isn't very well insonorated. With the restaurant full we could barely hear each other sitting at the same table. Will be back on a calmer day.

Super nice, spacious restaurant. The food was delicious, and everyone at my table really enjoyed it. Only downside was it was a bit too noisy to talk properly. Will definitely come back!

A very nice casual restaurant ideal for a relaxing dinner with family or friends. Staff is very friendly and service is quick. The menu is varied and food is very good. They also offer free parking in the car park below.

Coronation chicken salad was excellent. Partner loved her veggie pasta. Will return for dinner one evening soon. Oh and the toilets are top notch lol.
