The Avenue Restaurant

Overall a no for me, however the atmosphere of the restaurant is nice but the food not so nice and the service was bad they never look at our table. Calamari starter was good Ribs had no taste but big portion and tender Fries are good Carbonara if you do not like iberic ham do not take the carbonara ( it is not written that they use iberc ham but since its a taste I really don’t like I feel it right away) The cranberry mocktail was good

Great food - I ordered ‘Bruschetta and cheese’ as starters and ‘Fusilli alla Siciliana’. Great food portions, and drink was nice. The interior is beautiful! Recommend to book table in advance.

Super restaurant warm welcome. Sevice was excellent! We all enjoy the food. Price for the food served was very good. Busy for a Wednesday night which only shows how popular this restaurant is due to the high quality. I would return for sure.

My daughter and I arrived not having booked a table. We were shown an area to wait with tables and comfortable sofa. Our wait was not long considering the restaurant looked full. The service was quick and the food was out standing. My daughter ordered the salmon Wellington with mash and vegetables . I ordered fillet steak with jacket potato and vegetables. My daughter said her salmon so really tasty. My fillet steak was st tender I had med rare. No fat on this meat at all. Both our plates were empty at the end of the meal. Would def recommend a visit to this lovely restaurant.

we went on a Monday night so it is not fully booked. service is great. was accommodated asap. we got the carbonara and ribs — not one of my faves but the taste is still okay. maybe will try the other dish next time. the cocktails are good though. you get what you pay for. Got a Rosè by recommendation of the staff and it was fantastic.

Delicious food, amazing chefs, and a truly dedicated team. I’ve had the opportunity to visit Avenue several times with my family and friends, and we’ve enjoyed the fried calamari, ribs, salmon puff pastry, among other dishes. I recommend making a reservation if you plan to visit, as it’s a very popular spot thanks to its excellent cuisine. The menu is diverse and tempting, offering a wide selection of wines and cocktails, and the service is consistently five-star.

Avenue – Mediterranean Delight Had a wonderful dinner at Avenue, a lovely Mediterranean spot. We started with mussels and fried calamari, both were absolutely delicious. For mains, I had the pasta frutti di mare, while my wife had the rigatoni al pollo, creamy, comforting, and full of flavour. Overall, a great experience – solid 5 stars for the food. Only downside was the service being a little slow, but worth the wait!

The salmon salad was delicious, as was the spaghetti bolognese and pizza, but the Caesar salad was average. The best bruschetta I've ever eaten. One day the service was excellent. The waitress was very friendly and helpful, but the next day the waiter was surly and threw his change away like a dog when I wanted to leave a tip. The same thing happened with the host, who was cordial one day, but the next she looked at us askance and reluctantly led us to a table. I understand it was quite busy, but that's no reason to be disrespectful. I wanted to return to this restaurant, but a bad taste remained.
