The Avenue Restaurant

My daughter and I arrived not having booked a table. We were shown an area to wait with tables and comfortable sofa. Our wait was not long considering the restaurant looked full. The service was quick and the food was out standing. My daughter ordered the salmon Wellington with mash and vegetables . I ordered fillet steak with jacket potato and vegetables. My daughter said her salmon so really tasty. My fillet steak was st tender I had med rare. No fat on this meat at all. Both our plates were empty at the end of the meal. Would def recommend a visit to this lovely restaurant.

Delicious food, amazing chefs, and a truly dedicated team. I’ve had the opportunity to visit Avenue several times with my family and friends, and we’ve enjoyed the fried calamari, ribs, salmon puff pastry, among other dishes. I recommend making a reservation if you plan to visit, as it’s a very popular spot thanks to its excellent cuisine. The menu is diverse and tempting, offering a wide selection of wines and cocktails, and the service is consistently five-star.

To be fair to this restaurant we really popped in for a drink on evening rather than a meal and whilst we did have a little to eat, it probably wasn't fully representative of the food that you can order here. The restaurant feels very modern in style and is in one of the modern buildings near Portomaso. Interior design is very modern and they also have quite a nice terrace outside. The menu looked interesting and reasonably priced and drinks were similarly reasonable. Service was very good and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Would we go back? I think it would be interesting to sample a more representative meal.

Avenue – Mediterranean Delight Had a wonderful dinner at Avenue, a lovely Mediterranean spot. We started with mussels and fried calamari, both were absolutely delicious. For mains, I had the pasta frutti di mare, while my wife had the rigatoni al pollo, creamy, comforting, and full of flavour. Overall, a great experience – solid 5 stars for the food. Only downside was the service being a little slow, but worth the wait!

The salmon salad was delicious, as was the spaghetti bolognese and pizza, but the Caesar salad was average. The best bruschetta I've ever eaten. One day the service was excellent. The waitress was very friendly and helpful, but the next day the waiter was surly and threw his change away like a dog when I wanted to leave a tip. The same thing happened with the host, who was cordial one day, but the next she looked at us askance and reluctantly led us to a table. I understand it was quite busy, but that's no reason to be disrespectful. I wanted to return to this restaurant, but a bad taste remained.

Fantastic restaurant in st Julian! The prices are very reasonable and the food is delicious ! The interior is very beautiful and with a luxurious feel. I really recommend !!

bistecca palermitana was very oily so i would not recommended you that, but the beef salad was amazing. every type of pasta was also amazing. tiramisu is mid.

We were here for dinner. The outdoor area offers plenty of seating. We chose this restaurant because they also offer tuna tartare. This particular one was sold out on our evening. Very unfortunate.
