The atmosphere and the staffs are very friendly. It is good that service charge is clearly mentioned on the menu and staffs won’t ask you for tips. Many other places in Kandy will always try to ask for tips from foreigners. Vintage atmosphere is simply fantastic and food is delicious. Highly recommended.

Good staff and customer service. Food also good. One of my favorite places to have breakfast. At the time of this review you can buy String Hoppers breakfast for around Rs.300-400 which includes two different curries and sambol. usually they provide string hoppers with Dried sprat Curry,Coconut sambol and a Dhal curry.You can also select different options with different curries which may change price.

Hottel is a charming place that truly stands out for its excellent customer service and its historical ambiance. The only downside is that the food is a bit on the expensive side. While the quality and presentation are excellent, the prices might make it a less frequent choice for budget-conscious diners.

It’s the perfect place to enjoy a delicious biriyani with your family — the portion is generous and the whole meal costs only around Rs. 5000, which is quite reasonable for a group.
