Completely absorbing, a unique collect. Charming and generous host. Patrick Cook is an inspiration, custodian to some fascinating history.

Amazing fun museum not so good for disabled but it is a listed building. And you can handle things and books. I bought some things down to show my boyfriend. The guy who owns it very chatty we discussed sweets. Lovely scone and cream and proper jam. Lovely tea and coffee at last. Well worth the wait. You are able to take photos of everything. My whats app was on fire.

Quaint. Housed in an old farmhouse and it's out-buildings. Owner is really nice and serves in the cafe: very good service. Some areas require going up and down steep narrow stairs which are almost ladder like but very interesting mix of items in display and pleased to have visited.

Brilliant eccentric museum in a charming setting. Thank you for curating this wonderful collection. My second visit. Lots of 'oohs' and 'ahs' as I recognised the Ovaltine mug, toy telephones, dolls house furniture and more besides. Particularly enjoyed the collection of cream makers from the 30s and 40s, the butterfly electric heaters and the geometric kettle. I hope the collection stays together and finds a new home. The cat will surely miss the exhibits; he/she was quite at home and nimble jumping from glass case to glass case. Handsome caravans in the yard. Did I see Salvador Dali?

Closed 😔😥 Well I wouldn't normally review a place that I haven't been to. Or one that is closed. But looking at the pictures makes me think that we would've enjoyed going immensely. We haven't been to the UK in over 20 years so not really an option. Hope it reopens somewhere!

Went to the museum, back in june 2017. Great little place. Took me back to my days as a television radio repairman , seeing all the old radios ect. I hope for other people who haven't yet managed to get there that they check the museum web page before going as they are now in the process of boxing everything up for storage. Good luck to the museum if and when it reopens at a new location , it will be sad if it doesnt as the collection is immense and covers a extreme wide scope of items. Thanks to the owners for a great little muesum and good luck for the future

This is honestly the best museum in the UK. Quirky, interesting, eccentric. You can lose yourself here for hours AND have a delicious cream tea. Who needs Alton Towers?

Fantastic collection of bakelite items. The whole family loved the museum. Great shop and tea room. Would definitely recommend and we will definitely return.
