"Sadly Disappointing: 'The Baker's Table'"
I recently visited "The Baker's Table" café in Seoul, and unfortunately, my experience was far from positive. Firstly, the price for breakfast is a whopping 13,500 Won - and that's without drinks! This is simply too expensive.
Another major point of criticism was the service. The staff were very distant and generally rather unfriendly. There was a distinct lack of hospitality, which made the meal even less enjoyable.
Furthermore, the café did not have air conditioning, only fans. With the heat outside, this was unfortunately not enough to provide a comfortable atmosphere. Additionally, the café is located directly on a noisy street, which further increased the noise level.
The preparation time of the food was okay, nothing special, but also not to complain about. However, what stood out was the lack of straws for cold drinks and the completely bent cutlery, which simply did not make a good impression.
In conclusion, I can only say that "The Baker's Table" is more of an overpriced hot dog stand with unfriendly staff than a pleasant café to linger in. There are certainly better options in Seoul to look for.
