The Balcony Bar & Kitchen

We stopped by for breakfast around 10:30 on Saturday. Busy but moved to a nice balcony table. Staff were very kind, smiley, and helpful. 🥗 Food & Drinks We all had vegan breakfast with adding/removing some things. They don't have veggie option hence we went with vegan making it not vegan with additions 😂 🍞 Fried bread – far too oily, couldn’t eat it. 🌽 Corn fritters – good texture, but turmeric overpowered the corn. 🌭 Vegan sausage – absolutely delicious! 🍳 Scrambled eggs – watery, uneven, and bland. ☕ Coffee – excellent, rich dark beans, worth coming for. 🌟 Atmosphere & Service 😊 Friendly, helpful staff. 🌿 Lovely balcony seating, relaxed vibe. Overall: Great service and atmosphere, some standout dishes (vegan sausage & coffee), but a few items need improvement.

We went here for a late dinner and they’ve got a good, talented singer which adds more entertainment while we enjoy our food. We ordered a bacon cheeseburger and fish & chips. They were tasty and good value for money. The restaurant also has a nice view of the bay.

Nice spot with amazing views over the bay and a relaxed atmosphere. The food was just ok for the price, and there’s a hefty 10% service charge automatically added, which makes it even more expensive. I tried the tacos and was disappointed to find only a tiny sliver of chicken inside – definitely not worth it. Worth visiting for the views, but be prepared to pay a premium. 👌

Chose this bar as between myself, my wife and my son we all fancied different things. I had fish and chips, son had a burger and wife something else entirely. We were on a mini holiday in Cornwall at the time. Lovely staff, nice and clean decor with good food. Totally recommend and will be coming back on our next visit to beautiful Cornwall.

Previously we’ve only been in here for a drink, maybe a few years ago, however we’ve recently tried it for food. With so much choice in St. Ives you do need to be l picky! Our buyers were okay, but I wouldn’t have them again - if that makes sense. They lacked body, were a bit “squishy”, which is a shame as the flavours were fairly good. I’ve had a lot worse. Service was okay, the woman was a bit like she couldn’t really be bothered, the server guy was a bit more enthusiastic. It’s a great location and the restaurant/bar is done out really well, of course the views are stunning if you’re lucky enough to get a window seat. There is no parking, you will have to use a public car park in the area.

Breakfast was as always amazing, offering a variety of different breakfast classics as well as adventurous options, allowing you to add extra items to any breakfast set meal. Generous portions for the price and presented immaculately. Would highly recommend to visit this gem, featuring stunning views of the harbour at least once on your break to St Ives.

If you want a tasty breakfast with the view these spot is definitely for you. Lovely service nicely decorated place. Definitely will back in the future if in the area

We intended to have a quick meal but were pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was. Of all the restaurants we visited in St Ives, this one was the most delicious. The service and atmosphere were excellent. And it was lovely to see a Filipino working there. We will definitely return.

Went there on our daytrip to St Ives. Nice burgers, relaxed atmosphere and great view of the harbour. The chili fries are extremely hot, perhaps a litttle too hot.
