Had a lovely stay at The Balcony! The location was perfect for me, everything was a 10-15min grab ride away. I loved being just outside of the centre but having affordable and easy transport to get places. The staff here is amazing, so accommodating and respectful. The room was bigger than I thought and the bathroom was my favourite! I thoroughly enjoyed the Lanna style architecture. It was also really nice to have the big shared balcony and a smaller shared one in front of your room (even if you don’t book a room with a balcony). The little trinkets in the room, were a pleasant surprise: the robes which were so cute and functional, the beautiful slippers, the little silver bowls and wooden/rattan boxes in the bathroom The pool is a plus but I only used it once as I wasn’t too sure about the quality of the water (personal preference) There’s a small podium with a little roof on the shared terrace that provides some shade: perfect for doing some yoga or stretching during the day! (there’s a yoga mat present) They also provide small breakfast items for free in the shared ‘canteen’: yoghurt, fruit juice, toast, condiments, tea etc. I extended my stay multiple times without any problems and would definitely recommend this place to anyone 🌸 Can’t wait to come back! ps: you have to check out the Coconut Market opposite the hotel!

We will definitely be back! This place was a beautiful oasis. The rooms had a tropical feel. The breakfast was a great little added bonus. The girl who checked us in, was very kind and helpful and walked us to our room. Highly recommend this stay.

The Balcony Chiang Mai had the most comfortable bed ever!!! Also the whole Hotel is very nice and the staff super friendly and helpful. The location is also okey, for us perfect because it was not in the middle of the busy town. A bit far from centre but if you have scooter or use grab no problem at all and it's worth it. Definitely recommend it!

Excellent hotel, located outside the city, very very beautiful rooms, decorated with style. The rooms themselves are large and there is a shower with a bathtub and all the things you need. The receptionist was really nice and helped us, answered all our questions and let us rest by the pool until our room was ready. The owner of the place was also always available for all questions

The Balcony is truly an oasis, we were amazed to find this hidden gem. Grace and K'Plah are so lovely and welcoming, they have exceptional design taste! The rooms are gorgeous, spacious and the team features add to the relaxed feel. Everything from the tiles, the comfy beds, soft linen, deep bathtub and beautiful soaps made our stay so perfect. The swimming pool and communal kitchen were really clean, there was parking on-site for our bikes. They also helped get some rental bikes for our trip. We have stayed here several times, and highly recommend it!! Thank you so much for the best stay and quiet sleep 🙏🌸

Pristine hotel and host. First the hotel is a little gem with clean spacious nicely decorated rooms and bathrooms. The pool is a real plus ! And second but very important, Grace the host is very welcoming, helpful and friendly. She took great care of us and we felt being at a friends place for our entire stay. Don’t be afraid of staying out of the old city because it is only 10min ride and 100 TBH with Bolt (= 3 €) We would stay here again with no doubt!

The Balcony Chiang Mai Village is a wonderful, calming oasis to return to after adventures in and around the charming city of Chiang Mai. Your awesome hosts P’Lah and Grace as well the warm and caring team they have assembled will make you feel like you’re at a home away from home. A steady rotation of world travelers ( many I spoke with are return visitors to the Balcony) have also provided me many hours of quality conversations around the pool or in the community dining room. Highly recommended, I will be planning a return visit soon. A big thank you to everyone at The Balcony.!

Such a nice stay, absolutely loved it!! The owner of the place, Grace was so kind and guest-oriented, she was always available to help. We came much earlier to Chiang Mai, so we were allowed to leave our luggage at the reception and use other amenities around the hotel before our check in time. There was also washing/drying machines which was super convenient for us. I loved the view, the kitchen with all sorts of products there such as fruits, juices, yoghurts, and more. The room was so cozy and vibey, I liked the atmosphere a lot! The bed was also very comfortable and the shampoo!! was something I have to mention here-We’re in Krabi before coming here, so my hair was so damaged from the salty water but the shampoo was so good in the room. Additionally, they provide in-room Thai massage that you can book in advance, which was also great value! The massage therapist was so skilled. The last but not least, Baimon (girl at the reception) was super helpful! Many thanks!❤️❤️ An absolute recommendation!
