5 star accommodation, can’t fault The Balcony. Ripper motor bike /Scooter storage as well at 500 THB per month.

The hotel room was clean, nice and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended :)

I really enjoyed staying here. The location is perfect and I can park my bike safely in the underground park. The rooms are very spacious and the layout with the pool and mountain view is gorgeous. I highly recommend this place!

Yeah might be a bit rough having a construction site next door but there are so many good points to this hotel that I think it balances. Rooms where lovely..Food was excellent ( I recommend the Club sandwich) and the staff where great. Loved the pool! Staff helped with everything we needed and got us a really good price on our rental car. Bit far from the main hub, but inexpensive getting into town. We stayed here again on the way back through. The Fang coffee was also top notch.

The positives:|1. The hotel is boutique and what you would expect to find in a quaint village. |2. Rooms are beautiful and adequate. |3 Staff are very courteous and eager to help.|4. Free night market shuttle service to the town and we also got free return airport shuttle transfer.||Now for the negatives:|1. The location is on a main highway, which is very noisy at night. There are stray dogs living on the construction site next door that bark throughout the night. Add to that too much light entering the room at night through some windows that don't have curtains and you will find sleep here is not very pleasant to say the least! |2. The hotel is about a 15mins drive from the historic town center of Chiang Mai, which is where the majority of the sites are. So it is quite inconvenient and an unnecessary expense to travel to and fro (costs about 200 baht each way). We hired motorbikes but still the distance to town isn't ideal.|3. Plumbing in our room wasn't great! Hot water fluctuates up and down and eventually becomes just cold. So showers aren't that enjoyable.||If this hotel could be lifted and shifted into the Chiang Mai part of town it would be perfect! Can't recommend this place.||

I really loved my stay here. I stayed for 7 days, it's a 15 minute walk from a huge shopping centre and ten minutes in a taxi to the town. The hotel offers a free lift to the night market every evening. The staff are amazing, very helpful and patient. The food was beautiful and it has a great a cafe attached to the main entrance (fang coffee), which offers a lovely selection of cold and hit drinks. The restaurant is open til 10 every evening and does cheap cocktails. It has a nice pool and the rooms are nice. The air conditioning is great and it has a fridge. Room service is available and there is a kettle and coffee/tea available. The staff organized all of our exercursions, which were similar to the prices offered in town. The rooms are very clean and the staff are very friendly. Would highly recommend staying here.

We booked 3 nights here via our travel agent. The taxi from the airport took very little time, however the driver couldn’t find the hotel at first. Not surprising really as it was tucked away from a busy motorway near a builders yard ! There was dust everywhere and the reception area very rustic, although the staff were very friendly. We were shown to our room -105, which was very basic and smelt rather musty. The pool outside our door weren’t too good and the sun loungers were in need of a good clean. After a look around our room and an inspection of the facilities we headed straight to the internet and booked another hotel. We did feel very guilty when the staff sorted us a taxi out but knew we just couldn’t stay there

This hotel is NOT in downtown Chiang Mai. But not far away and if staying at a place that offers a more traditional Thai look & feel then this is the place. Hotel and rooms are clean & comfortable. Breakfast is simple but tasty and good. Staff are extremely helpful. Be advised take one of the business cards for address/map as most taxi drivers have difficulty finding it. Highly recommend.
