The Bale Nusa Dua was our peaceful sanctuary away from the busy Bali streets. The staff were always friendly and attentive especially when my husband was unwell with Bali belly after returning from a trip to Ubud. From our Butler to the front desk staff, restaurant and housekeeping staff did everything to support his recovery. The Bale was quiet and peaceful unlike resorts that are usually packed with tourists. We swam everyday in our private pool which was always at a beautiful temperature including at 3am when we had our last swim before leaving for our early morning flight. The food at Faces restaurant was always prepared lovingly and the breakfast fruit plate was always a must. We had two massages at the Bale Nusa Dua Spa where the ladies provided exceptional service. Our only disappointment is not having been able to purchase the frangipani scented bathroom products, it’s become my favourite scent. The massive bath tub was a hit as was the outdoor shower. Special mention to our butler Bayu and Asini on front desk, terima kasih! We highly recommend The Bale Nusa Dua and will definitely rebook if ever we visit Bali.

My wife and I grabbed a few nights at this amazing resort prior to heading to Seminyak for meet up with friends for her bday. We were immediately struck by the beautiful design and finishes of the hotel and then were blown away by our villa, fabulous bed, big bathroom, outdoor shower and beautiful steps into the villa pool. The team at The Bale were so helpful and super efficient. If I had to pick, it would be the traffic noise, we were lucky to be in a villa at the back of the resort but others close to the road I suspect it would have been a little noisy, that’s the only reason it have it 4 rather than 5. Plus we would have preferred to have sun loungers in the villa, I think this would be a good addition.

The staff were exceptional and make you feel special! The Villa was lovely and totally private. One of the highlight's of our stay was that the villa had plenty of room for my husband and I to do Yoga in the main living room in air-conditioning each morning, then exit through the sliding door from the enormous bathroom directly onto the steps of the pool. The early morning swim amongst the fallen Frangipani blooms was idyllic! |Our couples massage was Breakfast at the main restaurant sensational and the staff catered to our every request. We especially loved the complimentary Tamarind, Turmeric and Honey shots every morning before our coffee and breakfast order.

We found the accommodation excellent. The villa is private, very clean and the king size bed is comfortable. A fantastic place for a relaxing holiday. The villa has a good size pool and the resort which has I think 24 villas also has 2 large pools. The restaurant overlooking the pools has superb food. The Bale is approximately 10 minutes walk to the main part of Nusa Dua or 3 mins in a taxi ( $2.50)|The staff at the Bale really made our holiday.|They are so helpful, polite and eager to please. The resort manager Yanick could not be more helpful.The only downside I can think of is there can be a lot of stairs to climb if your villa is at the rear of the resort. If you have mobility issues I would enquire first. I highly recommend the Bale’ we really enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to book again. |Alastair Milne

Absolute Luxury! We stayed for 9 nights at the Bale and we couldn't have found a better more luxurious hotel for our vacation. We had a large Deluxe suite/villa with a huge bed, great storage, separate bath and shower (with a 2nd shower outside!) and with amazing bespoke Bale toiletries and soft fluffy towels. The garden had a large infinity pool and a really comfy shaded double day bed and sun loungers - we spent days lounging and sunbathing in our own slice of heaven!|The Staff - especially Kiki, Imelda, Yannik and Serina played a large part in making us feel welcome and nothing was too much for them to make our stay special. |Breakfast was tasty (if a little hit and miss with the eggs every day!) and both restaurants and room service food were excellent. And everything was served with a smile.|The spa was one of the best we have ever been to - Partini and Sulastri were our therapists and were excellent as were the products they used.|The only one slight negative was that the bathroom/rooms were looking a little tired. Bathroom grouting stains, taps with water marks/rust etc. The hotel was very clean - just the wear and tear was obvious. |Overall we had a wonderful stay and 100% recommend The Bale Nusa Dua

The villa was the better of the one bedroom villas at Bale and it was truly amazing. It was spacious and very well kept. The staff were superb. We were on a Luxury Escape deal so it included daily breakfast and either lunch or dinner. Food was good but by the end a little bit repetitive. I would highly recommend the Bale

The Bale was a 5 star experience. We loved everything about our villa and the staff were as friendly and helpful as they come. The App used to communicate with staff was a great touch as was the transport around Nusa Dua.|The beds were ultra comfortable and the villa was spacious. We loved the villa pool and the day bed. A place you would never have to leave - we would definitely recommend a stay at The Bale.

Complimentary shuttle was on time and we were upgraded to a deluxe villa which was so spacious. Bed was really comfy, plenty of bottled water(didn't have to buy any),pool beautifully clean. Food in Faces restaurant was very good, service was great and 2 for 1 cocktails at the Tapas bar each night was very welcome. Special thanks to Wishnu and Cahya who always managed to seat me under a fan in the restaurant (it was extremely humid). Just wished we had realised there were so many steps from our villa up to the restaurant. Would certainly recommend staying here.
