The Baltic - Fort Treehouse Company

Our recent stay at The Baltic Treehouse in Minden Hills was an enchanting retreat into nature’s embrace. This eco-friendly haven, perched among the trees, seamlessly blends modern comfort with sustainable living. The treehouse’s design is a marvel, supported by two robust maple trees and constructed with renewable materials, it offers amenities like Wi-Fi, an outdoor shower, and a wood-burning hot tub. The interior exudes Scandinavian charm, featuring a cast-iron fireplace, earthen floors that regulate temperature, and a well-equipped kitchen. The loft’s king-size bed provides serene views of the surrounding forest, enhancing the tranquil experience. Our days were filled with long chats over coffee, boardgames, unwinding in the wood-burning hot tub, and enjoying the curated selection of vinyl records. Evenings by the fireplace or under a canopy of stars, were truly magical. The Baltic Treehouse is more than just a getaway; it’s a rejuvenating escape that harmoniously combines luxury with environmental consciousness. I stayed with my sister for 2 nights at the Baltic by Fort Treehouse Co. We drove 2.5 hours from Toronto to the location. I must say it was all worth it!! Cam is absolutely helpful and kind. Our rental car, which we later found out didn’t have winter tires, got stuck in the snow. Luckily, Cam came out of his residence and offered to move the vehicle for us. He helped us park in the correct driveway and brought our belongings up to the treehouse. During our stay, he was very communicative and willing to find solutions to fit our needs. We both felt restored and peaceful. Thank you for allowing us to stay in this magical place. My sister said she will bring her husband next time :) Thank you so much Cam! Wylie

Lauren and Cam were amazing hosts with an amazing home! My husband and I stayed at The Baltic for two nights after our wedding. They had the hot tub ready for us to use upon arrival along with complimentary drinks and hats, which I thought was a sweet gesture. The place was super clean with all the kitchenware you need available. The nature aspect of the area was also incredible; we even got to see wild turkeys at one point. I personally enjoyed working the vinyl player while my husband enjoyed making the campfire. At one point we had a small medical emergency that was unrelated to the treehouse, but Lauren and Cam were kind enough to check in on us and make sure we were okay! We loved staying at The Baltic so much that we wanted to extend our stay, unfortunately it was booked, but we are definitely hoping to visit it again some time in the future!

We had THE BEST weekend!! As parents of two young kids it was so wonderful to get away and enjoy the tranquility of the treehouse! It’s was tastefully finished with all of the amenities you need for your stay. The hot tub was wonderful and it’s was really lovely to disconnect from busy everyday life and enjoy each others company. We had no problem finding things to do locally to keep us busy, we saw the fall colours at the Dorset tower and had a great dinner at Rhubarb. There wasn’t one aspect of this trip that was not fulfilled. :)

Beautiful!!! We were here in the winter, it was so scenic. Products on site were all natural, very cozy. I’m sure the summer is great too. I would say though this may not be the place to go if you’re older or even bigger of size. A lot of trail paths, ladder to the bed, stairs to get up to it. Great for young couples 🙂

My husband and I had a fantastic stay at The Baltic. It is a beautiful, clean and modern space while also feeling warm, cozy and providing the comforts of home. I loved using the record player and sorting through the old records. We played cards and used the wifi to connect our computer to Netflix and cozy up on the couch. The views from every window were beautiful. We had about a foot of snow fall during our stay. Cam was quick to take care of clearing the driveway and a shovel was provided to clear paths around the tree house. The extra amenities provided like a sampling of local beers, sleeping masks and branded toques were a really nice touch too! But our favorite part was enjoying the hot tub. Lit by a beautiful path of string lights, sitting in the hot tub surrounded by trees and falling snow felt like magic. We loved everything about our stay at The Baltic tree house. And Lauren was always quick to respond to any questions we had and making sure we were taken care of. Thank you both for a wonderful stay!

I’ve stayed at the Baltic a few times now, and each visit feels like a whole new experience somehow. This treehouse is amazing—seriously unique. It almost feels like some kind of luxurious AF camping. (Or some version of that 😅) They’ve got a hot tub to chill in, all the kitchen essentials taken care of, HUGE windows (big fan of them) and just feels like a place you want to be for a few days. Whether you’re here alone or with someone, it’s always an experience. This time I was here solo, and it was perfect for getting work done without distractions. The rain added a whole new vibe, making it even more special. There are great spots to relax, listen to nature, and just enjoy the sounds. Those huge windows let you take it all in. If you need a reset, this is the place. It’s perfect for working, reading, or just unwinding with nature. Every time I leave, I feel totally refreshed.
