Impeccable service and drinks. Professional and friendly staff. Very cozy with a very traditional decor, really has that Peninsula brand language. The main door of the bar is always open. There was live music too!

Only went there to feel the spirit of one of the best hotels in the world, the touch of James Bond and truly because of Olivia Kay on the piano at The Bar. Drinks are a accomplishing the whole scene in a beautiful way. Go for the Negroni Sour.

We were touristing in Tsim Sha Tsui and wanted a quiet drink. So we went into the famous Peninsula Hotel and up to The Bar. We were greeted to a darkly lit room with a great choice of cocktails and friendly conversation with the bartenders. They even had an 81-year old Scotch Whisky on display.

The bar was rated good and i was in Tsin Sha Tsui, ready for a Cocktail. The bar has more than one room, i stayed in the first one, also at my other visits, at the bar, where you can see how the drings are prepared. I will be brief, I visited the bar 3 times during my one week stay in Hong Kong and it was very relaxing, entertaining and enjoyable. The staff was very friendly, made perfect cocktails, talked to me very kind, gave me a lot of valuable tips for Hong Kong and made me feel welcome and home. Especially the head mixologist Francois gave me a lot of insights for my first visit of the city. On two of the three visits there was a pianist who was partly accompanied by singing and clarinet, which was really great. Highly recommended for cocktails and certainly for more, but I've only tried the signature cocktails.

Take the always impressive Peninsula stairs up two flights and you will find "The Bar." Ultra friendly and knowledgeable staff do their best to look after your needs whilst you take in the atmosphere created by warm woods and subtle lighting. Drinks are well presented and the menu has something for just about everyone.

This is a 5 star bar. Great selection great people and just what you would expect. Live music and the old chesterfield / mahogny style. People are skilled bartenders with small chat and what ever you ask the have something to say. Price is not a question as you have to include the whole, skilled bar, fantastic restroom facilities and all. Thank you for a great experience.

I went there for a drink on sat evening with my parter. The decoration is nice in the bar, however, the service is not up to a 5-stars hotel bar: 1st: when they serviced us the drink, the servant forgot the coaster for my drink. The servant did not have any intension to go back to bar, take the coaster and put it back under my drink. 2nd: When the servant refilled the water, he put it onto the table directly instead of the coaster. It was not nice. As a 5 stars hotel, part of the money I paid for is for the service. They totally missed the point. For the drink, you can definitely get a better drink with money in some central bar.
