My Friend wanted to try Catch 22 located in uptown on Georgia Avenue, NW. The Owners of Catch 22 also own and operate, Milk & Honey in College Park and Bowie, Maryland. I have yet to go to the other locations, but my Friend says the one is College Park is the best of the two.
You can only order from the brunch menu, but there is quite a selection so come hungry!! My Friend ordered the Jumbo Lobster, Egg & Cheese Biscuit Biscuit and I had the salmon cakes & garlic herb and potato hash. Both entrees came with a kale salad. I personally don't like raw kale, but did try the salad and it was pretty good. I also ordered a side of fried okra, which I don't believe is on the menu. While they offer chicken and waffles, I decided to try something different.
I had the grand Bellini topped with Grand Marnier and my Friend had the mango mimosa (in the champagne glass). Our waiter brought complimentary biscuits topped with warm strawberries. If you decide to order, ask for the strawberries to be cold versus warm.
We went on a Sunday and there was a short wait. If you are going for brunch you may want to reserve a table ahead of time, especially if you have a large party. Plan to arrive 10 to 15 minutes before if you have a reservation because it was tough to find a parking space.
