The place has a really nice vibe—chilled but still lively enough to feel fun. Drinks are spot on, especially the cocktails, which are creative and well-balanced. The staff are super friendly and make you feel welcome right away. Music and atmosphere are just right, not too loud but definitely adding to the mood.

A hidden bar where serves fantastic ramen as good as their cocktails. Be charmed since the first step inside a well re-designed and decorated old house located in a local and private neighborhood the middle of chaotic city outside. Skillful and friendly bartender. Recommended!

I had the immense pleasure of experiencing the wonderful hospitality, atmosphere, and not to mention — delicious food and inventive cocktails — at Bar Vagabond, during my first visit to Bangkok this past February. The bar is located within the basement of a residential home, giving it true speakeasy status. As you walk in, relaxing jazz plays in the background and fun decorations hang throughout the space, creating a cozy ambiance. You truly are transported somewhere new. Mazaki, the owner and lead bartender, was so gracious and friendly, recounting me the story behind his bar, his thoughts on emerging cocktail trends, and offering me some wonderful bar recommendations / other ways to enjoy the city. His recommendations led me down a string of other great bars/experiences where I made some dear friends and fond memories. Visiting Vagabond was a huge highlight of my trip and made me leave with a place for Bangkok saved in my heart. I will be back soon! PS: Ask Mazaki to try his signature ramen after you enjoy your drinks. The fish broth in is so clean and amazingly flavorful!

Best bar in town with diverse selections of Islay whiskies and a great homemade shoyu ramen

The bar opened by a Japanese owner has become our new favorite spot for weekly hangouts. The atmosphere is cozy with a subtle touch of exoticism. The owner himself works behind the bar, crafting incredible cocktails — each drink here is a true work of art, with unique combinations and perfectly measured ingredients. But it’s not just the cocktails that impress — they also serve surprisingly tasty hot dogs, which are the perfect complement to the evening. The blend of Japanese precision and street food makes this place one-of-a-kind. We keep coming back because every time we leave satisfied, thinking, “How did we not discover this place earlier!”

Quite a surprise. Excellent coktails with, of course, the only logical addition: spicy hot dog. And then some. If you look for a very classic slow moving bar where your blood gets thicker as time disappears, where you watch your mood tuning in, like, the vibe of this old school Japanese touch whisky & cocktail bar, if you just want to sleaze away with someone who doesn't check their mobile every 30 seconds but rather values a look in your eyes and trading an earful of words- then you are right where you ought to be. Oh, and don't even think about parking. They got 2 1/2 spots which block each other. Taxi is the deal. Which is better with coktails anyway.
