Baradari Palace is undeniably a beautiful property with heritage charm. Our room was on the ground floor and came with a small outer sitting space, which we appreciated and initially felt positive about.
However, the actual stay experience was not comfortable.
The room had a persistent damp smell and visible termite-related concerns. The refrigerator also had an unpleasant odor. The washroom lacked an exhaust system, requiring us to open large windows for ventilation, unfortunately, these had no blinds, which compromised privacy. Basic amenities like a wiper and seating in the bathroom were also missing, which made it inconvenient, especially since I was travelling with my 60-year-old mother.
Additionally, there was significant noise disturbance from the adjacent room for an extended period at night, and sound insulation appears nonexistent. We were unable to rest properly.
While the property itself is visually appealing, these issues significantly affected our comfort and overall experience. Given the tariff and expectations associated with a heritage property, this was disappointing.
I hope the management takes this feedback constructively and also considers a partial refund or compensation, as the stay did not meet reasonable comfort standards.
