La Barchessa di Villa Pisani (Vicenza, Veneto) 1 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"There are Palladian villas, and then there are Palladian villas. Villa Pisani isn’t just Palladian in style, it was designed by the 16th-century architect Andrea Palladio himself, and for fans of Renaissance architecture, there’s no higher endorsement for a stay at La Barchessa di Villa Pisani. (Not to mention its Shakespearean location in the Veneto, between Verona and Padua.)" - Tablet Hotels

Nice historical complex. We stayed in nine different hotels on this trip to Italy and they were all historical villas. La Barchessa di Villa Pisani was not the most luxurious of them, but it was the best and most tastefully renovated. The Superior Double room was a good size and we liked its interior. A good size swimming pool in a separate private garden. Good breakfast with a good selection of quality food. Enough parking spaces. The hotel also has a small gym and a Finnish sauna. Free water was a nice bonus on a hot summer day. The main building has been turned into a museum and probably also partly a venue for events. Special thanks to the staff for their honesty. We forgot our jewellery in the safe and before we even noticed, the hotel called us and informed us about it. Some hotels don't even return a phone charger left in the room. There is no mirror in the room, only a mirror in the bathroom. The hotel has a restaurant and it was good, but since the restaurant's advertisement was laudatory, we expected more.

I have travelled extensively around the world, yet few places have ever reached the level of absolute perfection found here. From the timeless elegance of the architecture to the refined interior design, every detail speaks of thoughtful beauty. The gardens are serene, the pool an oasis of calm, and the Osteria offers one of the most memorable meals I’ve had in Italy — including the best bread I’ve tasted so far. The seating is exceptionally comfortable, and the gracious gesture of allowing me to enjoy the pool before check-in was deeply appreciated. The staff embodies professionalism and warmth in equal measure.||Bravo — this place is not just perfect, it transcends perfection.

One of the best hotels I have stayed in northern Italy! The fact that it is a UNESCO World Heritage site- made the experience even more unique. The beauty of the buildings, the careful restauration, a level of luxury in the suites seldom seen for this price level, an exceptional art collection in the hotel & in the park but most of all, the professional and thoughtful staff made this overnight stay a place I want to go back to! The breakfast is excellent and I liked the restaurant as well (bravo for the wine list).

A lovely boutique hotel in the Veneto region. The staff was attentive and a very professional. Our room was large and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable, allowing for a good night sleep. The breakfast staff greeted us with a smile and were very friendly. I highly recommend this quaint hotel.

Because the first stay was so nice we booked twice a week later. The service gave us a very warm welcome, the House is beautiful, clean and very nice. Sitting in the great quit park while drinking a glass of wine is realy relaxing. The rooms are great, very clean, enjoyable modern with a very individual touch. We felt like beeing guests in a private house. The Dinner was very good as well and it is far away from a „normal“ italien food - it is a experience of fine dining. We look foreward to our next visiting.

The Barchessa di Villa Pisani is a wonderful place. The restaurant is excellent, with many delicious dishes and courteous service. The rooms are beautifully decorated with high-quality products. It’s lovely to wake up in the morning, enjoy a breakfast made with local products, and then visit the Villa, which is free for guests. The parking is also convenient for large cars.
