The Barlow

Great place to hang and have a beer from their set of rotating taps. Food is nicely done and has veggie offerings and salads as well as the standard bar foods.

Such a great neighborhood bar. The kind of place where you can spend a sunny summer day drinking aperol spritz in the window seat or a snowy day playing board games next to the fake fireplace drinking hot buttered rum. Cute, cozy, and chill vibes. Also, great fries!!!

Hosted my birthday here and it was great! The staff was responsive and accommodating, everything was super easy to arrange. The bar is a lovely space, warm lighting and more spacious than it looks from the outside but still feels cozy. The hot drinks were also a nice treat for a winter night and they had a fun playlist going

I really enjoyed the tunes, pretty universal selections. It made for great vibes. The bartender was so nice, welcoming and personable. I would definitely recommend coming here and plan on returning to try the hot drinks. I feel like you don’t see hot drinks often but they’re delicious so I’d like to try their cider when it gets colder. The atmosphere felt cozy but not too pub like nor dive bar like. Their food was good! I wasn’t sure what to except but I thought the Barlow hot chicken sandwich and fries was yummy! I liked how relaxed the place and the people were.

My friends and I have been hanging out at The Barlow for a few years, and we have always loved the vibe. When one of our friends became pregnant this year, we knew it would be the perfect venue to host her baby shower. Paul worked with us to curate the perfect food and beverage package. The staff was easy to work with and did a great job of refreshing food and drinks when people ran low. The food was delicious, especially the hot chicken sandwhich which was the crowd favorite. It was a fun day and an overall great experience. I would highly recommend hosting a private party at the Barlow.

The Barlow is GREAT! Needed to find a spot to celebrate my best friend's birthday and we picked correctly. Super friendly and accommodating, great drinks, yummy food. Will definitely be back!

Overall rating: 4.8 My pictures don’t do this place justice! I have been here over 10x times over the last few years and I love it. It’s my go-to spot when I’m in the area and craving a beer. During the winter, they also have really good hot cider. I’ve mostly sat at the bar and have only had bar food. But I really come just for the vibe. I usually take a date here when I’m not sure about the guy bc I know I’ll still have a great experience. The staff is really friendly & overall I just love how chill it is! If you’re coming from Manhattan and looking for a rager, this is not it. We’re good. What a great gem & highly recommend for the chill vibes.

Came her for drinks post dinner and was pleasantly surprised. I got a hot toddy and was impressed. Staff were warm and welcoming upon entry. The space is much bigger inside than it appears outside. Would visit again.
