Lovely little Basilica at Gharb square , very pleasing to the eye, a nice community around the town, still have butterflies hanging in the street leading to the church after the kite festival

Well worth a visit, a work of art in a quite quaint village. Sunday mornings are best

You probably already know that in Malta there is a church on almost every corner... standing at one you will easily see another... we stopped here mainly because of the webcam directed at the square in front of the church from which you can greet whoever you want (live) but You must admit that the beauty of this place tempts you to take a few photos. Afternoon and nobody around, absolute silence and all the time during our stopover.

Beautiful at night! We walked around the church at night surrounded by locals enjoying their community. We were there the night of the Kite and Wind Festival so the square was very busy.

Ta’ Pinu Sanctuary, this basilica is built out of the town of Gharb, it's free to visit and it's popular with tours as it's the location which the Pope Benedict XVI visited in 2010. To get there take bus 308.

A beautiful tiny square in the north east part of Gozo island. The starting place for a trekking walk.
