We have just returned from an absolutely amazing stay at the bath hotel lynmouth. We had a family room, Exmouth suite including our dog, which also came with a parking space. It was spotlessly clean, lovely bed sheets/big bathroom and had everything we could need as a family. Additional tea coffee facility's in a Fridge In the hallway was a great idea so you could help yourself to chilled water and fresh milk was perfect. The hotel itself is very central, walking distance to all the shops and the cliff railway. The staff made us feel so welcome including the dog, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was amazing, fresh and great choice. We had an evening meal in the ancient mariner the adjoining pub which was fantastic. Such good value for money and We shall definitely be back.

Decided last minute to go Lynmouth for a few days with the dog. Prefer staying in Lynton but the Bath had vacancies and not many places welcome dogs. The room was a 'quirky twin' , the Poet. Very small and poky, and hot. Although bed and bedding comfortable. Bathroom was clean and modern but could with a cabinet or shelf to put stuff on. Breakfast was quite nice but waited ages on the first morning for the meal. Polite young waiter but they could do with more staff. Most of buffet items needed replenishment. Wouldn't stay again.

The Bath Hotel is a great location of Lynmouth, we stayed in a king sea view room, good size, very clean, and facilities. |Can’t fault the room, the receptionist was welcoming and polite. |Nice touches of cooled water and milk. ||My only comments were about breakfast, the man could have done with some assistance filling up the juices, milk, bread etc. as there were simply not enough plus we heard the mention about no coffee, just decaf? ||He was very polite but needed someone to offer some help as our simple breakfast took ages to come, and was probably one of the most disappointing breakfasts on the second morning.|Eggs & Bacon were overdone so some improvement could be made |Saying that if we were ever in the area we would stay again|And we had no issues parking in the peak season, so don’t let this put you off! |Thanks again

We had our elopement wedding at the bath hotel and it was exactly what we were looking for. The hotel and all the team were accommodating of all our requests and ensured the whole wedding party were looked after. Even when we had a last minute addition, the hotel catered for them on the day. The venue is stylish and great for all the photos, the wedding meal was appreciated by all guests. The village of Lynmouth embraced the wedding, and coupled with the fantastic weather, it made our day so special.|Thank you Darren, Cav & all the team at the Bath Hotel. We plan to return for our anniversary every year.

Fantastic place fantastic hotel. We stayed at the bath hotel in the poet room from the 17th to the 19th of July. Witch was a beautiful room with old fasioned chest of draws with a writing table. The staff were extremely friendly and very welcoming. The only thing is I wish it had curtains insted of blinds. The location is very pretty with a short walk to the beach. The bar next door called the ancient mariner witch i belive is the hotels bar and restaurant has the best steak and ale pie I've ever tasted. Will definitely book again in the future

First impressions of an old fashioned hotel are immediately dispelled once you scratch below the surface. My beautiful clean and tidy room could not offer more. Good quality bed, nice decor, up to date bathroom with amazing shower, heated towel rail, extractor fan etc. The hotel is attached to a colourful pub next door and annexed by a dining room. Pub and restaurant staff are cheerful and professional. Small menu offers a good variety altho I'm must say, my creamy fish pie was a little dry for my taste. Great selection of ales and vino. Location of course is A1 and the hotel overlooks the harbour. The car park is reserved for Suite residents. When I looked out of my window this morning it was empty bar one car. On arrival I failed in my request to squeeze in on my non Suite status but there is easy parking on the street which is effectively free from 4pm until 10am. I would say the prices are favourable compared to the Rising Sun and criminally neglected Rock House. Neither have the vibrancy of The Bath Hotel.

Lovely Hotel, with an almost old world charm, mirrored in the decor, at times I felt I was in an Agatha Christie film, Rooms were spotlessly clean. If eating in however I thought the Dinner Menu was a bit limited, and simply shared with its menu with its own next door pub the Mariner.
