The Bathurst Showground

My partner and I stayed for 2 nights with a powered site. It was very lovely. The showers and toilets are well maintained and cleaned regularly. The grounds are well maintained, Very good to see.

Easy process to book online, well maintained area for camping, toilets and showers are dated, showers didn't have seat to put things on but lovely and clean. Laundry very reasonable. Manager lovely and friendly with good office hours. Loved the security, gates locked at 6pm with code supplied. Good value.

Great alternate for caravan and camping. Very close to CBD. Great rates, plenty of space, grassed areas, locked gates at night, bookings essential. Amenities are plentiful and dated but well maintained. Make sure to check that no events are being held during your intended stay. Pet friendly. Cash or cards accepted.

Nice place to stay. $45 per night with large sites. Plenty of room. Also have a walk around and view the very old buildings. Some built in the 1880s and still looking good and in use. Got to keep your grey water. Old but well maintained and clean facilities. All up pretty good spot. Jim

Great place to pull up with your caravan, you can walk into town, plenty of space, amenities are old but clran and the water is hot and great pressure, best place to stay in Bathirst

Lovely place and staff are great the facilities are clean and water pressure great andhot water exellent for that long awaited shower.Facillities for waste are exellent.Powered as well as non powered caravan sites are available. Would recommend

What a beautiful Showground in an absolutely stunning city, located fairly centrally to the main town area - a 10-20 minute walk depending on where you are wanting to go. We stayed with our little Myrtle & enjoyed lovely afternoon walks around the grounds. We enjoyed watching the Trotters in training on the track. The staff are warm & welcoming. The amenities are old but super dooper clean which is all I ever ask for when supporting Showgrounds. I didn’t know this but the Bathurst Showgrounds are the oldest in Australia. The buildings onsite are stunning and a credit to all the caretakers who made st painstakingly keep up the maintenance & care. Additionally this gorgeous Showgrounds has a great & quaint Coffee Cart for those who may not have access to a caravan coffee making station or like us a plunger coffee. We will definitely recommend & return to the BATHURST SHOWGROUNDS. 10/10 ps. I’m totally in love with Bathurst. I sincerely good move to this town.

Camped at the showground for two very cold nights. Amenities are old but the showers are hot! Great that 2 mins walk and you are in the town. Excellent tourist information Centre across the road. Caretaker very helpful.
