The Baxley Bondi

Great location in Bondi within walking distance to everything. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean, nice and modern. It had everything you need for a short stay including a shared kitchen area which was great. The only negative I would say is there is absolutely no wall insulation so you can hear your neighbours talking quite clearly and doors slamming throughout the night. Great stay other than that and would stay again

I really enjoyed staying here ! The staff is super friendly and the rooms are nice. I had a room for myself it was a bit small for my liking but I knew I was gonna be out all day so it was fine for me. The beds are super comfy and the shared bathrooms were clean as well. Plus point for having a laundry space in the back as well so you can wash your stuff. The mall is nearby , the bus stop as well and bondi beach was a 20 min walk. I would totally book here again !

Loved my stay! Would definitely stay again, the hotel really does have a lovely boutique feel at an affordable price. Super comfy bed & pillows, lovely hot rain shower + products too. Didn't even notice they were shared bathrooms I never crossed paths with anyone there are so many available! Handy having a shared kitchen & laundry. Great location, short walk to all the shops & restaurants on Bondi Road. Thanks!

My experience at The Baxley Bondi was excellent. The staff is really kind and gave me all the information needed. The room is truly compact but for one person was enough for a comfortable stay. Minor inconveniences with noises from the hallway but never at sleep time. The shared bathroom that was assigned to me was hardly occupied and mostly clean, when occupied I could use any of the many other bathrooms they have. The location is super convenient for beach lovers, a 10 min walk to Bondi beach but also to other amenities like countless cafes, restaurants and the Westfield shopping mall.

Very cosy hotel, great cleanliness of the room and shared bathroom. Great location near Bondi junction and 15 min walk from the beach. Only inconvenience is that the shared kitchen opens from 8am, would recommend changing these times to 6am for people who rise early.

A very overprized upmarket backpackers Room is tiny, no service and location is very far from everywhere walking wise I booked a room with en-suite as I did not fancy sharing a bathroom but my room was located between 4 public bathrooms and the doors were banging all night plus plumbing noises, unpleasant. Trying to hang my dress was over the area where they placed tea facilities and kettle. No obvious support for emergencies either. I was disappointed as I was looking to find a place away from home I could use everytime I am in Sydney which is bi-monthly.

Clean, safe, convenient place to stay in Bondi. You can get around the rigid cancellation policy by booking each night separately, as the policy only allows you to cancel the full booking 48 or 24 hours before check-in. If you book each night individually then you get more flexibility as per a typical cancellation policy.

When i first arrived i loved the look of the place, fresh and clean, beachy vibes. Very clean and tidy, carpets could do with a deep clean. I had just driven 3.5hours, I was tired and flustered and the reception i received was abit short. Not overly friendly and a tad fake. The lady the next day when i checked out was lovely. Im not sure if it was someone who worked there or if they were cleaners or security she had a thing around her neck and was moving furniture, I was trying to cook my meals for dinner in the kitchen and she literally just sat there and watched me the whole time with a sour look on her face. I felt uncomfortable. I scoffed my meal quickly, washed my stuff and left. As soon as I left the room she jumped up and went to the dishwasher so maybe she didnt think I did a good enough job washing the things up. I went to the bathroom numerous times and there wasn't any hand towel or toilet paper. I went to the desk but no one was there. So that made it hard when it is a communal bathroom. Other then that the rooms were nice. Comfortable. I generally prefer to have my own bathroom and kitchen though. But overall i had a really good stay. Thankyou.
