Louisa was amazing, she was very welcoming, informative and personable from the off, she really helped me to settle in as soon as I arrived, a great asset to The Baxley.
The issues with my single room... The photos used make them appear a lot larger. I had 3 large bags, which made the room feel cramped. The mattress needed to be replaced, making my sleep uncomfortable as I would fall into the middle like a hammock because the springs had broken.
The kitchen isn't a kitchen; it has boiling water for coffee and tea, and they have a microwave, so if you want to cook, this isn't the right choice for you. We also got asked to leave every night at 8 pm when I wanted to socialise with new friends, instead of going to my room. This area should have 24-hour access.
And finally, the receptionist who works on weekends was very cold and blunt in her communication. She was not accommodating at all. I felt that I couldn't ask questions, the complete opposite of Louisa.
