Loved my 2 night stay. Room exceptionally clean. Products were natural and smelled delicious. Room snacks perfect! Staff were very accomodating, nothing was too much trouble. The communal space in the kitchen was comfortable with a selection of teas. Great walk to local shops and the iconic Bondi Beach. Would definitely recommend.

You can feel the clean, welcoming aesthetic of this hotel the moment you walk in. I was a bit hesitant at first about the shared bathrooms, but they really exceeded my expectations—there are three of them, all spotless and conveniently close to the rooms. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. I even received a personalized welcome letter when I checked in, which was a nice touch that made the experience feel more thoughtful. The location is also a big plus. It's just a few steps from the bus stop, but even if you skip the bus, the beach is still an easy and pleasant walk away. Overall, a great experience for the price. Clean, comfortable, and convenient. I’d definitely stay here again.

Excellent location, staff and very clean. Very well designed hotel. One significant issue was the blinds in the room did not block out light and there was a harsh light coming in into my room that made it difficult to sleep and woke me up. I’d definitely return but would bring a sleep mask.

Baxley is a BEAUTIFUL, cozy home snuggled in right on Bondi Road just minutes from the Junction. Staff is superb! Louisa met me at check in, answered all my questions (I had many!) and ensured my stay was as comfortable as possible. Rooms are very clean and very well kept. Just one recommendation would be to install just one USB port somewhere in the room to assist international travelers that might not have the correct outlet adapter. HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Baxley at Bondi!!

We had an unexpected flight cancellation and the hotel staff made a stressful situation so much easier. They were incredibly kind and accommodating, allowing us to extend our stay with no hassle, and did so with such warmth and positivity. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. But the real highlight was the staff — they were truly exceptional! Energetic, helpful, and genuinely friendly from start to finish. We’re so grateful for their hospitality and can’t recommend this hotel enough. If you’re looking for a place with great service and comfortable accommodations, this is it!

Louisa was amazing, she was very welcoming, informative and personable from the off, she really helped me to settle in as soon as I arrived, a great asset to The Baxley. The issues with my single room... The photos used make them appear a lot larger. I had 3 large bags, which made the room feel cramped. The mattress needed to be replaced, making my sleep uncomfortable as I would fall into the middle like a hammock because the springs had broken. The kitchen isn't a kitchen; it has boiling water for coffee and tea, and they have a microwave, so if you want to cook, this isn't the right choice for you. We also got asked to leave every night at 8 pm when I wanted to socialise with new friends, instead of going to my room. This area should have 24-hour access. And finally, the receptionist who works on weekends was very cold and blunt in her communication. She was not accommodating at all. I felt that I couldn't ask questions, the complete opposite of Louisa.

Great hotel with a very good location and lovely staff. The rooms are modern and very clean. I’ve stayed here a couple of weeks and loved it. Deborah has been amazing in all requests. Also well priced for the area and close to good restaurants and the beach. I’ve had a slight injury that meant some blood on the carpet , but the hotel staff waved it off as a non issue and I’m I was grateful for that. There is free coffee and tea in the kitchen and they store your luggage. Will come again :)

Spent 1 night at the Baxley and enjoyed our brief stay. The hotel is clean and modern with a comfy enough bed. There aren't a huge amount of bathrooms on the top floor where we stayed but managed to access them ok. The main issue was we stayed at the front of other property in a perfectly pleasant room but the road noise was annoying from about 5am and woke me up. I am sure it is better at the back of the property if you are a light sleeper like me!
